The daily routine of the two continued one but yet Jungkook refused to even look at Tae, he took any path he could find that would get him away from Tae as fast as possible. And when Tae would see him; Jungkook, and shout at him Hey Jungkook! Jungkook would turn and stop to look at him with that same cold glare and then continue walking.

The boys never talked at home or at work either- seeing Jungkook so distressed made Tae upset, especially knowing that he did that to him.

Taehyung would sigh and head to his work, picking up the mail to the firm as he came in and throwing it onto the adjacent secretary counter before rushing over to the phone in his office and checking the messages, today there happened to be only three.

“First message: This is Kim Yojin, I’m calling on behalf of my case. You had given me your home phone number and told me you were working from home today but I got no response. Anyways, I don’t understand why I have to pay for my medical recor- “

An hour later? He sighed

Final message: Except there was no talking, just a drawn-out sigh and then they hung up.

Taehyung rubbed his eyes and sighed as he picked up the phone to check the number, noticing the similar digits of someone’s he knew, he typed it into the database though there were no results. He typed it online and there popped up a result “Jeon Co.”

Taehyung took a breath in, a shaky breath in and ran his fingers through his hair, frantically dialing the number and chewing on his nails as it rang.

“Hi, can I speak with Jungkook please? I’m a friend of his, Taehyung; Kim Taehyung”

“please- Jungkook, listen, seeing you torn up has ripped me to pieces, it eats me alive to know that I caused you so much harm, if you could please just talk to me, I would want nothing more than that”
