Confused

What happen to forever?

Have you ever felt like you were going to die any second, but at the same time, you knew you weren't going to. You just kinda wish you would, peacefully and silently. Yeah, well that was exactly how Seolhyun was feeling when she read that there were 72 missed calls and 156 text messages all from one person, namely Shin Hyejeong. If there was one fact you had to know about Hyejeong was that Hyejeong never went all out with phone calls and text messages. It wasn't normal for Hyejeong to do something like this. But if Hyejeong ever did, Seolhyun knew there would only be two options in why would Hyejeong make all this chaos in her phone was either something really BIG had happened, or something really BAD had happened. Seolhyun prayed for the first option.

The right thing to do would be to obviously call Hyejeong back...at 3 am in the morning. Seolhyun wanted to, and she was tempted to push that call button but something was holding her back. She didn't even know what to say if Hyejeong demanded a reason as to why the girl hadn't picked up her calls or respond to her text messages. Seolhyun couldn't even remember the lie she had told Hyejeong in the first place, was it shopping with her mother? Or was it something else? Seolhyun wanted to click call back, but at the same time she really really didn't want to. She wanted to put off calling Hyejeong until later but avoiding Hyejeong would do her no good.

So with that reason glued to her mind, she clicks on the call button. With each ring the phone sounded out, the more Seolhyun's breathing became uneven. She was hoping that maybe Hyejeong was asleep by now, but if Seolhyun was awake right now, why wouldn't Hyejeong be?

"Hello?" , Seolhyun cursed in her mind, Hyejeong had answered, and Seolhyun had no clue whether to be relieved or scared. Maybe both. Seolhyun couldn't help but sense that Hyejeong's voice sounded really really deep and tired, it turned Seolhyun on a bit, but this wasn't the time to be thinking these thoughts.

"Baby? Are you awake? You sound tired, did I wake you?" Praying that the question would at least lessen the awkwardness going on in Seolhyun's heart. Maybe Hyejeong was feeling awkward too.

"Yes, and no." Damm Hyejeong back again with the straightforward replies. Seolhyun could definitely feel the awkwardness starting to spread in the call as if it hadn't already.

Finally, Seolhyun decided to get right to the point in answering the question that Seolhyun bet, was surrounding Hyejeong's mind. "Oh, so Hyejeong, I'm really really sorry about not answering your calls or text messages. I was really really busy with family matters, such as shopping with my mom." Seolhyun was hoping this sentence would lower Hyejeong's curious radar. Suddenly Seolhyun had an amazing idea pop up into her head. It was a given fact that Hyejeong hated Seolhyun's ageyo but Hyejeong could never say no to it, no matter how hard she tried. Seolhyun took a deep breath in order to prepare to make her girlfriend cringe, badly. "Baby~~~~please forgive me~~~~pretty~~~~pretty~~~~pppplllleeeaaassseee!!!!!!" Even Seolhyun started to have goosebumps over her own ageyo.

"NO, DON'T YOU DARE USE AGEYO ON ME KIM SEOLHYUN! NO! NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" If Seolhyun's ear didn't go deaf, then she doesn't know what will because that was absolutely terrifying to Seolhyun's heart and ears. But Seolhyun couldn't help but smile because she knew she would no longer be questioned, for now, that is. Something told Seolhyun to stay quiet as she had a feeling Hyejeong needed to continue her words in the call. So Seolhyun took a calmer breath than before and eagerly waited for Hyejeong's voice to meet her ears. "So Seolhyun, I understand that you were busy and all, but all those calls and messages weren't for nothing. They're pretty damn important in my eyes and I hope you think so as well. Our acting professor, you know professor Park? Apparently, we can't choose our partners, but I wanted to tell you something..."

Seolhyun could feel her breathing stop as she felt Hyejeong hesitating to tell her the "something" but Seolhyun was already mad at the professor for not letting them choose their partners. What was the point of signing up for a class where you can't get what you want from it? "Spit it out please, Hyejeong." Seolhyun sounded demanding but she didn't care and she doubt that Hyejeong cared about her tone of voice at the moment.

"Yes, my beloved baby.....uuummm....I checked the class order to see who my partner was, and apparently, we have an equal amount of boys and girls. 25 girls and 25 boys. Our professor is paring boy to girl and girl to boy. Seolhyun I'm telling you this because I don't want you to freak out, and because I love you so much that it will indeed hurt me when a boy touches you, but I will bare with it and so with you. We are not going to fail this class and you will absolutely not rip this university apart, okay Seolhyun?" Seolhyun could hear the sadness in Hyejeong's voice as she voiced out these words. Seolhyun was already planning to buy a wrecking ball, and just straight up bash this university to pieces. But of course, those are only plans, and unfortunately dreams. This wouldn't be a big deal to any of the two girls if the class wasn't acting, where someone got to touch you in ways the script says they could. Seolhyun was now absolutely 100% certain that this was by far the worse week she ever had in her whole entire life.

"NNNNOOOO!!!! WHY BABY, WHY???!!!! Can we just quit this class please!!!!" Seolhyun begged with all her might, she didn't have the energy to do any ageyo at the moment. Seolhyun knew Hyejeong was just as stressed out as she was about this issue, after all, would you like it if your loved one was being kissed by someone else? Even if it was acting, that would still be stupid.

Seolhyun heard a low chuckle on the other end of the call, meaning Hyejeong actually found this situation amusing or she was just as upset about the classroom rules as much as Seolhyun was. Seolhyun chose to believe the second option.

"Listen Seolhyun, I'll try to reason with the teacher, but if things don't turn out the way we want it to be, promise me you won't freak out, okay? I want you as much as you want me, I admit that I want you so so badly right now, but considering the fact that they were 100 houses apart from each other. I'm not walking over there in my groggy state just to make love to you. Now I know we said to only make love when we get married but I can't control myself around you. One day I'm gonna break that rule, and you're going to love it" Hyejeong firmly stated in the call.

Seolhyun could feel her face heating up, how long has it been since Hyejeong was able to make her feel this way. "Well baby, I hope you know that I am highly anticipating your arrival soon." Seolhyun could feel a smile tugging on her lips as she imagined Hyejeong's mind going wild after hearing her words.

Seolhyun could once again feel her face heating up as Hyejeong cheekily responded with "just you wait for it baby." How does that woman still manage to play with her heart even after all these years? But Seolhyun was immediately reminded of the fact that Joongki was able to play with her heart in just a matter of seconds. That scared Seolhyun brilliantly. There was a mysterious feeling going on in Seolhyun's heart that made her scared. It was an emotion that Seolhyun would never understand no matter how smart she was. Feeling one emotion like love made sense, but if you were feeling hate as well, how did that make sense? Love and hate don't get along yet they spoon together brilliantly like the yin yang sign. These two feelings combined together only made confusion and that was exactly the feeling Seolhyun was feeling for Joongki and Hyejeong. But for now, the feeling of confusion would only be felt by Seolhyun and not known.

Suddenly Seolhyun's alarm clock rung, causing Seolhyun to accidently press the hang up button, immediately ending the call between Seolhyun and Hyejeong. Once again shouting a bunch of curse words in her mind, Seolhyun couldn't and didn't want to imagine what would be Hyejeong's reaction was at the moment. Seolhyun made a mental note in her head to call Hyejeong back as soon as she could. But right now, the word "soon" did not exist for Seolhyun.

Seolhyun rubbed the sleepiness away from her eyes as she stood up to take a morning shower. Feeling refreshed and somewhat relieved from her stress was exactly what Seolhyun wanted and needed. At least the phone call went better then Seolhyun had expected it to be. But Seolhyun knew that lies wouldn't protect her forever, but for now...lies were all she had.

As Seolhyun made her way downstairs, she could hear a male voice that definitely wasn't her father. That was when she remembered what happened last night....also what caused it to happen. Was Joongki awake already? Of course, he is. Why wouldn't he be? She could see the back of Joongki's head as she stood in front of the kitchen, seemed as though Joongki was already getting along with her family. She wondered what she had missed when she was talking to Hyejeong.

"Oh honey, come here! We were just getting started with breakfast. Come join us!" Seolhyun's mother waved her hand to signal Seolhyun to the table. As Seolhyun approached the table she could see that Joongki's head was doing much better than the night before.

"Good morning family...morning Joongki," Seolhyun mumbled. She didn't really know how to apologize in front of her family and to Joongki. What was worse was the fact that the moment she came downstairs, everyone at the table seemed to seize their conversations and suddenly seem to take an uncomfortable interest in Seolhyun. Gluping down her apology in front of her familiar audience wasn't easy, but Seolhyun wasn't quite ready for a "public" apology.

Before Seolhyun's family could respond back with their own greetings of a fine morning, Joongki interrupted the silence of mornings by beating an upbeat voice. "Hey Seol! Did you sleep well? I know I sure did!" Even in the morning, Joongki's smile was still completely irresistible for Seolhyun, as she let herself fall completely in love with Joongki. "Excuse me, Ms & Mr. Kim, thank you for such a lovely sleep and breakfast, but please do excuse me and Seolhyun for a second. I will take my leave after. Goodbye once again, Ms & Mr. Kim!" Once a goodbye was heard from the family, Joongki grabbed Seolhyun's free hand and lead Seolhyun to the front door of her household.

Seolhyun could definitely feel the heat from her face start to warm up intensely as she felt Joongki's firm grip on their equally soft, smooth hands. Joongki finally lets go of Seolhyun's right hand, as they reached the front door. Seolhyun didn't want their hand holding to end, as she could feel herself wanting to grab Joongki's hand and have him hold her as tight as possible again. To bad given their situation last night, Seolhyun doubt that Joongki would ever want to touch her again. She didn't blame him. No, she blamed herself, and only herself.

Seolhyun expected Joongki to yell or scream at her in anger. She expected an action from Joongki that expressed how mad he was at her. But those actions never came, and they never would. Seolhyun could see Joongki's dark brown orbs as they stared at each other eye to eye intensely. The same way Joongki stared at her last night in the car.

Seolhyun wanted to break the silence that was starting to form around them, so what better way then break the silence by apologizing?  "Joongki, about last night...no words can express how sorry I am, even if I say sorry to you a hundred times. I hope you can feel how sorry I am. You can ignore my words Joongki, but please. Don't ignore my feelings. I swear my feelings speak the truth even if I don't want them to. I'm really really sorry, I just wasn't ready last night, please please please understand me Joongki." Seolhyun finished her speech with a deep breath, she looked up at Joongki as she pleaded with her eyes for Joongki's forgiveness.

The next thing Joongki did was beyond Seolhyun's expectations but she was 100 percent grateful for it. Joongki smiled at her. He smiled his same old charming smile that had seemed to wow all the college girls in college and Seolhyun herself. Joongki put his right index finger on Seolhyun's lip gently before leaning in an inch from Seolhyun's face and whispered "I forgive you Seol, I'll always forgive you because I can't seem to get mad at you. I don't ever want to. But this, you see this finger right here? On your lip? Make sure no one ever touches them okay? I want them to myself, I absolutely crave them. So don't go kissing anyone you want, because those lips should be saved for me. Only me. I know it sounds creepy, but you just show me the definition of love. For you and your lips, I'm willing to wait for your love. Don't say yes or no now, but instead tell me your answer to my love when the white rose gets's dipped in red paint." With that said, Joongki left Seolhyun standing alone in front of her front door, as she looked at Joongki's disappearing body, as he walked further and further away from Seolhyun's house.

But Joongki had left Seolhyun dumbfounded with his ending words. What did he mean by those words? Did Joongki really like her? Seolhyun didn't even know if she did. Also, what did he mean when he said a white rose dipped in red paint? Questions seem to form one by one as they crowded into Seolhyun's running mind. Deep down, Seolhyun knew the right thing to do would be to call him and tell him to forget his love...nicely. Because she already had a lover, whom she loves with all her heart, and Seolhyun knew that Hyejeong loves her just as much. So why was Seolhyun suddenly getting these fuzzy feelings now? Were they for Joongki or Hyejeong? Seolhyun would never cheat on Hyejeong, but why did the thought of Joongki forgetting his love for her hurt her so much? Why did the thought of saying no to Joongki's love break her heart as much as cheating on Hyejeong would?

This was too much to handle for Seolhyun, physically and emotionally. She needed to clear her mind for a while. Maybe this was all just college and love stress. Maybe Joongki didn't really mean anything, and Seolhyun could just have a happy relationship with her girlfriend. But Seolhyun knew she was just playing herself. She was just trying to make herself feel better, and it definitely wasn't working. All this stress and confusion was just too much for Seolhyun to handle in any way. She wanted all this to be a dream. She wished that she could just wake up at this moment and find herself in Hyejeong's loving arms, as they lay in bed together, with their clothless bodies wrapped around each other. That would never happen, thought Seolhyun, I wish it would, but it can't. Seolhyun didn't want to break her parent's heart, but she didn't want to break Joongki's or Hyejeong's. What was Seolhyun to do?

Seolhyun decided to clear her head by taking a walk near the park that was near her house to try to clear her head a little bit. As she walked around Seoul park, wandering from tree to tree, Seolhyun started to wonder what did Joongki mean by his last sentence? It didn't make sense to her one bit, Seolhyun had never seen a white rose in real life, but she had seen one before on google. What exactly did Joongki mean?

Seolhyun eventually lost track of time, because soon the once well-lit sky was now dimmed by the lighting darkness that was starting to approach Seolhyun. Maybe just a few more minutes, before I start walking home, Seolhyun thought. Suddenly, Seolhyun heard  tiny little giggles coming from the north side of the park. A female voice so familiar to Seolhyun's she swore she wouldn't be mistaken, as she immediately knew who the female was. But could it be? Maybe it was just a coincidence and someone just happened to sound like Hyejeong. It wasn't common, but it wasn't impossible either. Soon Seolhyun could feel her two legs start to move north, as she let her curiosity get the best of her.

Once Seolhyun approached two shadows gleaming in the moonlight, her legs came to a halt as she stared in the shadows at the back of two heads, both female, one girl had an arm slung over the shoulder of the other, as they chatted with cheerful voices, completely oblivious to the girl watching in the shadows.

Seolhyun wanted to scream, cry, and run when she finally caught a glimpse of who the two girls were.  The moonlight perfectly capturing every angle of the two girls, from their jawline to their forehead. But even if Seolhyun wanted to say it wasn't her. It was. There was no denying it. Even if her own eyes played a million tricks on her, there was no denying that this was her. Even if Seolhyun went blind, she still wouldn't be able to deny it. That girl Seolhyun saw that made her want to take off running in tears, was no other than her one and only lover; Shin Hyejeong.

Yay! Like I promised, I updated during the week I said I would! Definitely happy about that, and I hope you guys are too! I don't really have much to say other then I love you guys a lot, and thank you for supporting my not very good story. But I'm just gonna be a little bit selfish, and say that I think this is a pretty decent story...so far. Ah, AOA~~~ I miss them so much!!! I haven't heard from them in a while :( I know each member is somewhat busy with their solo activities, which means at least they have something, right? Oh well, they have each other! That's what matters! Is that they love and have each other! I'm already waiting for their next comeback :D

Um, about my story and the ending. A lot of people wanted Hyejeong to do something like what Seolhyun did, but you'll see in the next chapter (SPOILER ALERT!) that Hyejeong doesn't exactly do what Seolhyun does, but to Seolhyun and maybe the readers, um yeah. You'll find out in the next chapter. :D Which I promise to be soon, but yeah. But anyway, I never in my life when I wrote this story, I didn't plan for Hyejeong to do any of this, so I wasn't sure what to do with ending, but since a lot of you wanted it, I decided why not? So the next update may be a bit confusing to you, and I understand because I would be too. I don't even know what will happen next chapter since I didn't plan for it, but I'm definitely happy to write it that's for sure! Look forward to more though! Sorry for confusing all you guys. >_<

Thanks for reading!

Chapter 6: Man, seolhyun‘s such a b*tch in this story. Like gurl, you have no right to be mad and jealous when you‘re the unfaithful one. And she IS cheating on hyejeong, no doubt. They just haven‘t kissed yet but seriously, they went on a date, held hands, he tried to kiss her and he slept over at her place. I‘m pretty sure he doesn‘t know that she has a girlfriend in the first place so all this sh*t is honestly seolhyun‘s fault. She‘s deceiving both sides and i feel like it‘ll end badly for her, really bad. I mean how can she just throw away a 3 year relationship and just lie right in her face to go on a date with a guy she just met?!

Chapter 5: Omg Joongki has a good character so far but he is seriously a bit annoying! How can he call her his, when she didn't even agree on anything?! And Hyejeong hangout out with a girl, can't it just be that she's having fun with a friend, or sister or smt? And seriously, i don't wanna see Hyejeong broken when she finds out about the date and everything that's gonna happen in the future IF SEOLHYUN DOESN'T FREAKING CALL HIM OFF!!! She should break up with Hyejeong or stay faithful to her! And not try to two-time! This is going nowhere for both sides!

Chapter 5: It's really unfair how Seolhyun gets hurt just seeing hyejeong hanging out with someone while doing something worse than that. I hope seolhyun will feeps jealous and get hurt.
I think that if seolhyun continues this with joongki she might as well breakup with hyejeong. Hyejeong is such a good girlfriend yet she chose to cheat on her.

Lookng forward to your next update!
