Date or no?

What happen to forever?

Saturday rolled around pretty quickly. It was 1 hour away before Joongki would pick Seolhyun up to go on their "date", the thing is, Seolhyun was still in bed with messy hair and a messy room. Seolhyun had set an alarm to wake her up at 6am, but she slept right through it. Stupid alarm thought Seolhyun, there's absolute no use for you. Everytime time Seolhyun tried to get up, she would fall right back into bed with guilt clouding all over her heart. Seolhyun couldn't believe she had lied to her girlfriend, just to go out with anothor person. This isn't cheating, is it? She kept wondering this same question over and over again. Seolhyun was still in deep thinking when suddenly her supposedly locked door opened. Revealing her mom standing in front of her doorway with a key in her hand. She could have at least knocked thought the annoyed Seolhyun.

"Sweetie, get up right now! The room is a mess, and no daughter of mine is skipping lunch at all! It's 1:17 right now! Hurry up!" With that said, Seolhyun's mother pulled Seolhyun's blanket away from Seolhyun grasp, and walked right back to the kitchen.

Seolhyun was left in a groaning mess after what her own mother had done to her. She had no time for guilt to consume her right now. She had a "date" to go to. With that said, Seolhyun got up, put on some simple clothing that fit her taste, and washed most of the guilt away. Feeling refreshed and ready for her big day, she made her way downstairs to the kitchen.

Her mom was cooking breakfast for Seolhyun's dad, sister, and of course herself. "Seolhyun, your sister wanted an american styled lunch/breakfast meal today. Is that okay to you?"

"Yup that's fine." Seolhyun watched her mother try to attempt making what looked like pancakes. Before joining her father and sister at the table. Seolhyun noticed the clock and her eyes widened when she saw the time was 1:58pm, dang, time flies by so quick. Seolhyun started to leave the table "dad, I need to go out today with a friend today." Seolhyun then shouted to her mom "I need to leave right now, so I'm going to have to eat lunch later! I'll try to be back before dinner, but don't count on it!"

"Okay sweetie, take your jacket with you, if you stay out late! I heard it's going to get cold at night! Remember to eat your lunch and dinner!"

"K, thanks mom, bye everyone!" With that said, Seolhyun ran out her front door, and waited for Joongki to pick her up. As she perched on top of the stairs outside her dooryway, she was wondering if Joongki would actually come. She had been so excited for their hangout she hadn't thought about the possibilities of this happening. But it was quite possible. She barely even knew the guy, yet she had already given Joongki her phone numbers and address.

When Seolhyun started dating Hyejeong, it took at least 2 weeks just for Hyejeong to crack down Seolhyun's wall and get her phone number, or any info about her. But with Joongki, she had told him all the info he needed to track her down anytime in just a couple of minutes of knowing each other. While for Hyejeong it took her a whole entire 2 weeks. As Seolhyun pondered about this being right or wrong, she was still waiting for Joongki to hopefully show up.

5 minutes later, Seolhyun was seriously losing her patience for Joongki. If it had been Hyejeong wh was pickng her up, then Hyejeong would have showed up 5 minutes ago, maybe even 10. But Hyejeong wasn't the one who was picking her up. Not today at least. Joongki was the guy picking her up, the guy, who she barely even knew, but made her smile on the first day of college.

But soon Seolhyun's head snapped up right away, the moment she heard the sound of a car engine roar. Seolhyun tried to make out the person who was sitting in the driver's seat, but she was quite certain that this person was the man who she was going to spend the afternoon with. Seolhyun could feel herself smiling happily the moment Joongki got out of the car. Joongki was dressed in a black leather jacket, blue jeans, leather boots, and a nice gray wool beanie to top of his black hair.

"Heh, so sorry I got here late. The traffic was pretty bad. But I'll make it up to you, promise! By the way, you look stunning in such simple clothing!"

"Gee, thanks Joongki!" You don't look to bad yourself!" Seolhyun could feel her face begin to heat up, so she rushed to the passenger seat door. Right when Seolhyun was about to reach for the passenger seat door, Joongki swooped right in and opened the door for her.

"Here you go my princess! Please take a seat!"

If Seolhyun wasn't blushing before, she definitely was now. Seolhyun just couldn't help but blush at the nickname "my princess" Joongki had now given her. Seolhyun climbed into the car seat with the help of Joongki, by her side. As Seolhyun waited for Joongki to start the car, Seolhyun kept fanning herself a lot. Her face just kept getting hotter and hotter everytime she caught a glimpse of Joongki. Blushing would be very hard for Seolhyun to control today considering the fact that they were going to be spending the whole afternoon with each other. Maybe even more.

"Well, Seoul forest, here we go!" Joongki shouted out, before backing the car out of the driveway and started driving to Seoul forest. Joongki's excitement caused Seolhyun to laugh out loud, but she did have to admit that she was just as excited as Joongki was about their little "date."

They drove in silence for a while, but it wasn't a awkward silence. It was more of a comfortable silence. Just the two of them in a car. Enjoying each others company. Although they were silent, both felt like they were having a exciting conversation with each other. Droning on and on about everything and nothing. Seolhyun had never felt more relaxed around a man she barely knew. But for some reason, she felt like she had known Joongki forever.

Once Joongki parked at a open spot near Seoul forest. They walked to the front entrance together. Both thinking the same thing. How great it was to be with each other right now. They toured around the trees and statues for a while. Took a couple of pictures together, as they walked around the forest. All the guilt Seolhyun was feeling before had now faded as she spent more and more time with Joongki.

Pretty soon they started holding hands with each other. At first they were uncomfortable with this but as time went on, they grew more comfortable around each other, to at least get a little physical. It also helped that Joongki kept cracking out jokes and telling Seolhyun some stories about himself.

Soon nighttime rolled around, and neither of the two wanted to split apart after a fine dinner. They decided to walk the harbor for as long as the night allowed them. The two admired the ocean as the moon seem to shine on the water. The waves were much more calmer in the night, then they were in the morning. Seolhyun gripped Joongki hand even tighter, as she watched in awe how the waves moved calmly agansit the wooden logs, as if the wooden logs were just a play toy for the ocean itself. The two watched the gentle waves in silence, but the warmth of their hands collided together, proved a different meaning.

At this moment, Seolhyun couldn't wish for anything else at this moment. The weather was perfect, and here she was spending the day with a man who she felt strongly attracted to. Joongki also felt the same as Seolhyun did.

Soon Seolhyun had to go back home, but at least Joongki was the one taking her back home. The ride was full of laughter and stories. Both couldn't believe how short time was, but it was a time well spent for the two.

As the car rolled into Seolhyun's house driveway, Seolhyun couldn't help but feel sad aboout having their "date" end so quickly. Why did time have to end so quickly? Joongki looked at Seolhyun staring into Seolhyun's eyes deeply. Once they were both staring at each other with equal passion. Joongki tilted his head to the side a bit. This was completely wrong to Seolhyun. Seolhyun had a girlfriend, but at that moment Seolhyun had just realized she didint think about Hyejeong one bit during her "date" with Joongki. That was double wrong. Seolhyun was seriously panicking now. Seolhyun desperately try to push Joongki away, but her hands didn't comply. Joongki's lips were now an inch from Seolhyun's, and still, Seolhyun's hands wouldn't obey her. Just then, an image of Hyejeong sitting in a empty room, crying, and calling out a name, Seolhyun couldn't make out. That definitely scared Seolhyun and somehow gave Seolhyun to suddenly have the power of a bear, and pushed Joongki away. Hard.

BAM! The head of a person hitting a car window was the sound, Seolhyun wished she didn't hear. Soon after that, a low grunt was heard, and then a whimper of pain soon followed after. Seolhyun hesitantly opened her eyes in fear of what she would see, but the scene wasn't as horrifying as she imagined, but that didn't make it good either. No blood was spilled, thankfully. But Joongki was clutching the side of his head with both hands, while whimpering "ow, ow, ow" over and over again.

Seolhyun didn't know exactly what to do, but she did have an idea. She was no doctor but she was smart. Getting Joongki to safety was her first priority, the rest didn't matter as much, like getting Joongki to forgive her would be her second priority. The only place she could think of when the word safe popped into her head was home, and home was right in front of them. With the decision of bringing Joongki inside her house set in action. Seolhyun opened her side of the car door, and running all the way around to Joongki's side of the door. Seolhyun then gently guided Joongki out the car, and tried her best to make sure she didn't harm Joongki anymore then she already had.

"I'm really really sorry, annd I hope you can forgive me, but for now just trust me, please." Seolhyun did her best to soothe Joongki, when she noticed his body seem to tense up a bit, when she touched his shoulders. With that said, Joongki's body relaxed onto Seolhyun's for better support.

The two walked slowly to Seolhyun's front door, where Seolhyun desperately tried to unlock the front door. That was easier said then done, a guy leaning on Seolhyun's shoulders while Seolhyun tried to find the right key to open the door, didn't make the best team in the world. But Joongki was in pain because of Seolhyun, so that made Seolhyun work faster, to get Joongki in a safe environment.

Click! The sound of the house door unlocked when Seolhyun inserted a small goldkey. Okay, small goldkey, that's my house key, Seolhyun thought. As Seolhyun practically dragged poor Joongki to the living room couch, a light flickered on, showing her mother in a bath robe holding a frying pan.

Before Seolhyun's mother could say a word or strike her frying pan at the now unconscious Joongki, Seolhyun stepped in right away and whispered/shouted "Mom! I have no time to explain right now but he's a friend! I need medicine and bandages, okay? I'll explain later, after he's all healed up!"

Her mother didn't say anything for a few seconds, but soon the silence was shut down by Seolhyun's mother voice. "Get him laying on the couch, and make sure to hold his head high, but not to high that his neck would start to hurt. Okay?"

"Okay mom!" Seolhyun proceeded to lift Joongki's head in a comfortable position. "Tell me if it hurts." Joongki gave a slight nod, but soon a whimper of pain escaped Joongki. Seolhyun did her best to put Joongki in a comfortable position, while they waited for her mom to return with the medicine.

A minute later, Seolhyun's mother came running back, hands full with cream medicine and a long strip of white fabric. "Seolhyun, after I'm done treating this man, you better tell me what happened today right from the beginning. Don't you dare even try to lie to me young lady."

"Of course mom...thank you, by the way."

"I know." Seolhyun watched as her mother carefully applied medicine on Joongki's head, with each dab of medicine, her mother put on Joongki's brusied head, the more Joongki made low grunting sounds. Giving even more reasons as to why Seolhyun should be hating herself at the moment.

"After Seolhyun's mother finished treating Joongki's head. She pulled a blanket and a pillow out of the basement to cover Joongki with. Seolhyun knew they were doing the right thing, but it just felt really weird having a man sleep the rest of the night in your living room couch. "Mom, he's going to be sleeping here, for the rest of the night?"

"Well Seolhyun, does it look like he could go home at the moment?" Seolhyun's mother looked annoyed to answer obvious question, the answer after all was right in front of Seolhyun eyes. Her mom cleaned up the materials, before signaling Seolhyun to let Joongki rest, and to have their 1 to 1 talk.

Seolhyun silently slipped into the kitchen, there her mother sat on a wooden stool, a table in front of her, revealing another wooden stool which was most likely where Seolhyun would be interrogated tonight. With a silent gulp, Seolhyun sat down infront of her mother waiting for her to say something.

"Seolhyun dear, I'm going to skip all the questions for now, because I'm pretty sure your story is going to answer all my questions. Take as long as you like, we have all night. You woke me up at 12:28, so you better make up for my lack of sleep and yours as well. Remember, your still in school, and I'm 100% sure, the boy you brought home is also in school. Now start talking, no lying or over-exaggerating in your story. I want the exact story understand?" With that said, Seolhyun's mother leaned back onto her stool, and waited for Seolhyun to open and start talking.

With that, Seolhyun started from how this man was the principal's son and that they were just going on a friendly hangout, but he accidently hit his head on the car window, that's why Seolhyun needed to bring him to her house for treatment. Seolhyun was praying that her mother wouldn't see through her lie, but she really had no choice if her mom ever found out what actually caused all this to happen, she wouldn't live to see another day. But she didn't 100% lie either, Joongki was the principal's son. But her feelings for him were confusing to her, but she convinced herself for now, that she loved Hyejeong only, and she forever would. But that image she saw back in the car was very very disturbing. It made Seolhyun feel like a weak girlfriend to Hyejeong, she wanted to protect her, not hurt Hyejeong. If Hyejeong found out the real truth about what happened tonight, she was sure that her relationship with Hyejeong would be put to a end immediately, and Hyejeong's love and care for Seolhyun would all disappear. But at the same time Seolhyun couldn't help but want Joongki as well. Call her selfish, but she just couldn't help it. Her feelings were just to confused. But she knew that she loved Hyejeong, but was it right to love Joongki as well? Why was she now lying to two people she loved so much now? It was all just so confusing.

After a full minute of nothing but silence, Seolhyun's mother leaned forward, and asked "do you love Joongki?"

It was a simple question, yes or no. But Seolhyun didn't know what the answer was. She knew she should say no, but what was preventing her from saying no? This wasn't a question where you studied the night before on computer or paper, this also wasn't something you learned and remembered from a projector screen either. "I don't know, I just don't." Seolhyun spoke the truth, or at least what she thought was the truth.

Right now, Seolhyun felt like she had been hit by hypnosis, because her eyes were already starting to give out on her. So was her heart.

"Well Seolhyun, I'm glad you told me everything, I'll inform your sister and father, because Joongki is going to be joining us for breakfast tomorrow morning. You look like your about to crash anytime now, so this will be the only time I let you skip showering, get changed and just go to bed. You had a very long week sweetheart." Seolhyun's mom gave a long kiss on Seolhyun's forehead before leaving the kitchen, and leaving Seolhyun in thought of, I didn't tell you everything.

Seolhyun surrendered to the comforts of her blanket, after getting changed in her pajamas. The clock read 2:07am as Seolhyun did her best to fall asleep with the amount of hours left, before she had to wake up for real. Seolhyun's head was about to explode from all the drama that had happened by what would now be yesterday night instead of today. She kept replaying the scene where she had lied to her mother and Hyejeong, also the scene where Joongki had tried to kiss her. Seolhyun was desperate for a break, but she knew she would never be able to catch one.

Failing to fall asleep after a few toss and turns in bed, Seolhyun decided to clear her head by playing on her phone a bit. She hadn't looked at her phone since morning, so she was wondering what she had missed. But the moment Seolhyun clicked the power button on her phone, the screen welcomed her with 156 text messages and 72 missed calls all from Hyejeong herself.

Chapter 6: Man, seolhyun‘s such a b*tch in this story. Like gurl, you have no right to be mad and jealous when you‘re the unfaithful one. And she IS cheating on hyejeong, no doubt. They just haven‘t kissed yet but seriously, they went on a date, held hands, he tried to kiss her and he slept over at her place. I‘m pretty sure he doesn‘t know that she has a girlfriend in the first place so all this sh*t is honestly seolhyun‘s fault. She‘s deceiving both sides and i feel like it‘ll end badly for her, really bad. I mean how can she just throw away a 3 year relationship and just lie right in her face to go on a date with a guy she just met?!

Chapter 5: Omg Joongki has a good character so far but he is seriously a bit annoying! How can he call her his, when she didn't even agree on anything?! And Hyejeong hangout out with a girl, can't it just be that she's having fun with a friend, or sister or smt? And seriously, i don't wanna see Hyejeong broken when she finds out about the date and everything that's gonna happen in the future IF SEOLHYUN DOESN'T FREAKING CALL HIM OFF!!! She should break up with Hyejeong or stay faithful to her! And not try to two-time! This is going nowhere for both sides!

Chapter 5: It's really unfair how Seolhyun gets hurt just seeing hyejeong hanging out with someone while doing something worse than that. I hope seolhyun will feeps jealous and get hurt.
I think that if seolhyun continues this with joongki she might as well breakup with hyejeong. Hyejeong is such a good girlfriend yet she chose to cheat on her.

Lookng forward to your next update!
