It was another day. I was getting used to going to an actual school with people and more teachers. The fact that I've been pretty isolated for all of my childhood doesn't help me get out of my "loner" status. However, I do have one good friend and maybe that's enough...

"Min Chan!" A voice shouted my name.

I turned around and saw my friend, Taeyri, running towards me. A big smile was on her face.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Did you see the transfer students? They're hot!" She exclaimed.

"Transfer...students?" I muttered, extremely confused.

"Transfer students are basically students who transfer to a new school in the middle of the year." She explained.

"Oh. No, I didn't see any transfer students." I replied.

"Maybe they're in our homeroom! Let's go!" Taeyri said excitedly.

She grabbed my hand and dragged me into the classroom. We took our seats just as the bell rang. Our teacher, Mrs. Choi, came in and smiled at the class.

"As you have heard, we're having transfer students today." She announced.

There was an eruption of whispers and giggles. She cleared and continued,

"We have the privilege of having them in our class! Please welcome them!"

The door opened and in came four boys. One of them had an extremely familiar face...

"Son Hyunseok..." I hissed under my breath.

He tossed a glance at me and smirked. Some girls sitting behind me thought the smirk was for them and began squealing. This bastard! As if he hasn't ruined my life enough! Taeyri was eyeing the other boys with awe.

"Please introduce yourself." Mrs. Choi said.

Ghun bowed and introduced himself,

"My name's Son Hyunseok, but call me Ghun."

The other three introduced themselves,

"My name's Jung Haewon."

"Taefung."

"What's your real name?" Mrs. Choi asked.

"Lee Donghyun." He replied with a sigh.

"Kim Jinwan! Everybody can call me Sulhu!"

"Please take a seat. You can sit wherever you want." Mrs. Choi instructed.

Ghun strolled over and took the seat that was to the right of me. I glared at him and muttered,

"Why did you throw away the luxury of home schooling and come here?"

"I just wanted to see you." He replied with mock sympathy in his voice.

"Hyunseok, you..." I began.

"Nobody can call me Hyunseok besides my friends and my girlfriend." He stated, a smirk appearing on his face.

"You're an ." Was all I said before I looked away from him.

School dragged on by. I hated seeing his face every single time I walked in the hallway. When the dismissal bell rang, I got out as quickly as possible. The last thing I wanted was to bump into him. Instead of going straight home, I decided to walk around and window shop. There were many stores with fashionable clothes and hi-tech gadgets, but none of them appealed to me. I stopped when I came by an old antique store. I decided to go in. I was greeted by a wise, old man,

"Welcome. Are you looking for something in particular, young lady?" 

"Oh...nothing. I just wanted to glance around." I replied.

"Child, there is something dark in your heart." He said.

"What?" I was confused.

"Do you wish to seek revenge against someone?" The old man asked.

'How the heck did he know?' I wondered.

"Yes. Perhaps." I muttered.

"I may have the thing for you." He scurried to the back of the store.

I stood around awkwardly. I was tempted to run out of the shop and never come back, but part of me wanted to know what he had for me. The old man came back out with a small box in his hands. He placed it on the counter. I walked over to him cautiously and asked,

"What is that?"

"A ring that will grant all your wishes." He replied.

The old man opened the box and revealed a silver ring with a black dragon engraved in it. I gasped at its beauty. I looked at him and questioned,

"How much does this cost?"

"For you? Nothing." He closed the box.

"Free? I get it for free?" I asked.

"Yes." He muttered.

I took the box and bowed many times,

"Thank you!"

"Until we meet again." The old man said.

I walked out of the store and stuck the box in my pocket. I can't wait to admire it at home...
