The door to the apartment slammed shut with a resounding bang that echoed through the almost empty space. Wisely choosing not to comment or initiate further interaction, Tzuyu slipped off her shoes and ran up to her room, resolving to get a head start on her homework before her sister got home. The older girl would know how to deal with her sulking fiancé.
Doyeon was furious.
Eight years. Eight whole years and that was what Yoojung chose to say upon their first meeting. She wanted to say that she didn't know what she'd ever seen in the girl but she was painfully aware that the thought alone would make her a liar.
Of course she'd envisioned their reunion many times. A beautiful occasion in which they fell happily into each others arms and everything was okay again (these fantasies were always followed by crushing guilt because she was happily engaged.)
Leave it to the devil herself to mess everything up, something she made a habit of doing, Doyeon noted scathingly as she tore off her coat and hung it over the hanger.
