“Look Jiyong, Please. Can you just let this go? Please, just this one time…don’t ask me…” I begged him desperately. I no longer knew how to handle this situation.

 I loved Jiyong. I’m in love with him and I have long accepted the fact that he could only ever love me as a friend; but…what happened that night changed everything for me. That night might be just another one night stand for him, but that night meant much more to me than that. I’m relieved that he doesn’t seem to remember anything…at least that’s one less issue for me to sort out apart from the possibility of me carrying his child. Jiyong’s shut his eyes and took deep breaths trying to even it out “I can’t just drop it Cee-Cee. I’m not stupid. Whatever this is…whatever -- is bothering you this time must be something big. “You have to explain things to me. You are my closest friend. When you act like this, what the hell am I supposed to think?” He brushed his fingers tightly around his hair, a sure sign that he is frustrated.

“I’m caught in a really hard place right now Ji—“ I sighed “It’s not easy..”

“Then ing tell me what it is!” He starts pacing “Tell me so I can help you! You always run away from me! I’m supposed to be your best friend!!!! Just tell me what the it is!!!! It’s not that hard to—“

“I might be pregnant” I cut him off. His body froze amidst his pacing, his shoulder tense and his eye twitching. He became silent and his face closed up, I can barely read his expression and this scares me more. Not knowing what he thinks makes me anxious. I don’t know what to make of this reaction.

“WHAT. THE. . DID. YOU. JUST. SAY?” His fuming voice echoed throughout the emergency exit.

He looked even madder than he was a few minutes ago, this is the first time I have ever witnessed his anger at this level. Whatever fury he had successfully even out and suppressed a while ago jump out full force. I could only look at him as tears start forming under my eyes. ! I shouldn’t have told him!
