(y/n) pov

I walked down the nearly deserted halls and over to my locker. I opened it only to have a little slip of paper fall down. I grabbed my bag and shut my locker. As I slung my bag over my shoulder I bent down to grab the note. I noticed it was an invitation, most likely to a party. Reading over it carefully I realized it was an invitation to a party, but the only thing giving away who it could be was the address. “(y/n)!!” I heard from behind me. I diverted my attention from the note to my idiotic best friend kat, or kitty as some people have named her. She was grinning from ear to ear, which I rolled my eyes to. Right behind her was tao. Yes tao of exo-m! The three of us have been inseparable since the beginning of high school, even after he got recruited and debuted. “I didn’t do it!” I said smirking at her. I heard tao chuckle while she just gave me a glare. “Are you going to the party tonight?” she asked jumping up and down. I gave her a look like she was insane. “No.” I stated firmly turning around and walking away. “Bwoh?! Yah!!! (y/n)!!!” She screamed at me. I heard loud footsteps before I felt someone grab my arm. I looked back to see that it was tao who grabbed me. “Wae? Did you not get an invitation?” He asked, becoming tense at the end. I rolled my eyes and flung the, now crumbled up, piece of paper at his face. “I got an invitation,” I began as the rest of his friends started to join us. “I’m just not going!” I finished once we reached the doors to outside. It was the end of a friday so nearly every kid was gone. “Why won’t you go? We're throwing it!” Chanyeol said behind me as I opened the door. I gave him a look. “That reason alone would be why I wouldn’t go!” I stated, and I would've left it there if they didn’t pout at me. I rolled my eyes and gave them another reason. “I’m already busy tonight!” I sighed. A few frowned while the others gave me confusing looks. “What could be more important than partying with us?!” Kai spoke with fake hurt. I once again rolled my eyes at them. ‘I seriously need to start keeping track of every time I roll my eyes around these guys…’ I thought before being brought back to reality by kat. Looking around I noticed we were in the parking lot, and just a few steps away from my car. “Seriously tho (y/n)! What are you doing that will make you miss the party!” She asked inching closer to me. I shook my head at her actions, but answered her anyway. “That! Is for me to know, and you to never find out~” I teased with her before opening the door to my car and getting in. They all gave me a look but moved out of my so I could leave, which I did. I drove home and quickly ran inside my house changing into something more comfortable, yet I could still freely move and dance in. (insert outfit here!) I rushed back out to my car after checking the time. ‘I'm going to be late if I don’t hurry!!!’ I thought to myself, putting the car into drive and speeding off to the secret club. Now you may think, ‘(y/n)! You're in high school! You're too young to be going to a club!!’ And yes you would be right. But this isn’t a club that has strippers and alcohol. It's a club for teenagers with talent, only certain teens know where it is and can get in. I was one of those select few, infact I was one of the 8 that ran the place. Me and BTS! Speeding past the school once again I see EXO getting into their cars. A few glanced and gave me a quick wave, to which I returned a peace sign and focused back on not being late. I arrived with not even five minutes to spare. I parked my car and ran off to the back entrance. “Hey Jon!!” I greeted the guard. From what I had learned of the guy, he was american, and was he taking care of family. He’s very kind, when everyone is following the rules, and he gets very protective over the kids that come here. I guess that’s why he took this job. “Evening (y/n)! You're just on time!! Jimin just got done with his dance!” he said giving me a small smile. I nodded and headed in. Looking around I spotted Jimin flirting with some of the girls and J-hope was up on stage being the DJ. Turning to my left Jin was behind the bar serving some drinks (non-alcoholic!!), Jungkook, Namjoon, and Suga were sitting at a table probably working on lyrics or something. And i’m guessing V was in the backrooms changing. Jin was the first to spot me and gave a small wave to which I waved back. Jungkook must have noticed because next thing I know is i'm being crushed. “You're here!!!” He yelled into my ear. I chuckled covering my ears. “Yes, I am. Now can you let go and stop breaking my eardrum?” I asked, glancing back at his grinning face. “Mianhae! I just missed you…” he smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. “You always miss her!” I heard Jimin say as he finally left the girls alone and came over to us. Jungkook grinned again and laughed. “Jeon jungkook! You're still hugging me…” I said and immediately he let go chuckling nervously, and out of the corner of my eye I saw namjoon give the kid a glare. After saying hi to everybody I walked over to Namjoon. “Hey! Are you ready for the performance?” I asked him. He nodded not even looking at me, causing a frown to grace my lips. It’s always been this way between us, he ignores me constantly. The others say he’s just being shy, but I don’t think so… I think he just generally hates me. After failing at getting him to talk to me again I huffed and turned around and walked off to J-hope. He gave me a smile, which I returned, but continued to DJ. I admired him for his skills, I keep asking him to teach me but he said that it takes a lot of time and he doesn’t want to distract my studying. “Are you sure you wanna do this?” He asked me, he’s one of the only people who knows my true feelings towards Namjoon, and the only person I truly feel safe around. He knows everything about me, he’s the only one I show my feelings around, the only one i’m willing to cry in front of. Because I know that he will never judge me.  And he knows that performing with Joon on stage is causing my nerves to get the better of me. I gave him a small smile and nodded my head, he gave a wide grin back causing me to forget my nerves. “(y/n) it’s time!” I heard Joon call, once again not even glancing at me as he walked past onto the stage. As I walked past J-hope, he gave me a pat on the back and a reassuring smile. I gave him a grin back not even noticing the glare we were receiving. J-hope began playing the beat as me and Namjoon began bobbing/dancing to the music. Singing and rapping in time with each other and the song, the crowd roared. I felt the adrenaline rush as I forgot everyone around me and just focused on the song. I released my worries into the song and when it was over both me and Namjoon were panting. A huge grin spread on my face as the crowd cheered and I ran back over to J-hope, Namjoon going the opposite direction. “You were amazing!!!” both J-hope and another voice said. My eyes widened as all of EXO was standing next to J-hope. “So this is why you blew us off?” Chanyeol said looking around. Kai came and picked me up spinning me around as I hit him. “(y/n) that was amazing!! You have a very beautiful voice!!” he said finally putting me down but turning me so he was now back hugging me. “Kai…” I tried to warn when I felt him being wrenched off of me. My eyes widen in shock as Namjoon grabs my wrist and drags me away, leaving everyone confused and jongin on the stage floor. “Namjoon…” I tried to talk as we finally stopped in an empty hallway. Before I could finish my sentence I was thrown against a wall and pinned. I frightfully looked into Namjoons' eyes and all I could see was pain and anger before he crashed his lips onto mine. Being shocked was an understatement, I was completely paralyzed, my brain was trying to process that this was Namjoon kissing ME!!! When he finally pulled away I was breathless. “Joon…. Wha..?” I tried to say but he cut me off once again with another breathless kiss. “I love you (y/n). And it angers me to see you like that with another guy!!” he said as we broke apart once again. I looked into his eyes once again, all the anger gone and replaced with sadness, pain, and a bit of hidden hope. My eyes softened after noticing the tears in his eyes. Forgetting about everything else I focused on Namjoon. He opened his mouth to continue but before he could I pulled him into another kiss. He widened his eyes this time but melted into it and kissed back. Pulling away I breathlessly mumbled “I love you to, I always have…”
