I got what I wanted.

I passed my exams with flying colours.

I have great friends and family.

And most importantly, I have the love of my life with me.

 

 

 

 

"______-ah, have you done packing yet?"

I could hear umma's voice all the way from the living room.

 

 

"Ne, umma! I'll be down in a while..."

 

 

I got up and grabbed my bags.

 

I took one last look of my bedroom before departing for Australia.

 

 

 

There are so many things that took place here.

It's sad to leave but I must.

 

 

I went downstairs with my bags.

 

 

"So, is everything set?" she asked.

 

"Ne, I packed everything..."

 

 

 

I hugged her.

 

 

"I can't believe I'm actually leaving, umma.."

 

I wiped my tears.

 

 

"It's okay, I know. Be sure to come visit me during semester break, ne?" she rubbed my back.

 

 

"I'm gonna miss you, umma!"

 

 

"I'm gonna miss you too! Be sure to take care of yourself, arasso?"

 

 

I nodded.

 

 

"Go on, you need to be at the airport now.." she smiled.

 

 

"You're gonna send me off to the airport, right?" I pouted.

 

 

"Of course, sweetie! Now, let's go!"

While we're at the airport, I wanted to text Ghun-oppa.

 

When I told him that I was accepted at a prestigious university at Australia, he was happy but I can tell that he's sad to see me leave.

 

 

"I'm sorry oppa.."

 

 

 

Instead of forcing me to stay here with him, he encouraged me to go.

I had a dilemma at first.

I really wanted to further my studies there, but at the same time I didn't want to leave everything behind.

My umma, appa, unnies, the guys and of course, him.

 

 

 

"It's okay, princess. I'll wait for you. You need to go. I can't hold you from achieving your dreams, ne?"

 

That was his last words to me.

 

 

He wasn't at the airport.

I bet he didn't want to see me leave.

 

 

 

My umma and the girls were with me.

We took photos to pass the time.

We all were smiling but deep down, we were sad.

After waiting for two hours, it was time.

It was time for me to go.

 

 

I hugged everyone.

But Ghun-oppa was no where to be found.

It just breaks my heart knowing I won't be seeing him in days to come.

 

 

 

I walked away with my bags and I tried not to cry.

 

I'm on my own now.

 

 

I waved at everyone.

 

 

When I turned around, I saw a familiar face.

 

 

"W-What are you doing here???" I squealed.

 

 

 

"Isn't it obvious?? I'm coming with you!! There's no way I'm gonna let you go to Australia by yourself!!"

 

It was Ghun-oppa!!

And he had his bags with him!

 

 

 

"You're not joking, are you??"

I couldn't believe what I'm seeing!

 

 

 

Everyone came up to us.

 

 

"He's coming with you, ____-ssi!" Taefung smiled.

 

 

"But... the store??"

 

 

 

"No worries, we'll take care of it!" the guys exclaimed.

 

 

 

He placed his arms on my waist.

 

 

"I want to be with you, everytime. I'll die if I don't!"

 

 

"Don't say such things!" I slapped his arm.

 

 

"Hahaha, I was just joking about the last bit. But really, I can't stay away from you!" he grinned.

 

 

My umma hugged me again.

 

 

"At least knowing that you have someone over there with you will make my worries less. I trust him." she said and smiled at him.

 

 

 

"See? She trusts me!"

 

 

 

"Now go on! Both of you!" she gave us a slight push.

 

 

"Remember, if something bad happened to her, we are gonna hunt you down, Ghun-ssi!" my unnies clenched fists at him.

 

 

"Don't worry! I will take good care of her!"

He kissed my cheek.

 

 

He took my hand and we proceed our journey.

 

 

 

While we're on the plane, I was tearing up.

 

 

"Princess, don't cry! I'm here!!" he held my hands.

 

 

 

"You sacrificed a lot for me.. I'm so touched!" 

 

 

"Well, it's because I love you, princess!" he smiled again and kissed my forehead.

 

 

 

 

"I'm glad I found you, oppa. I truly am.."

 

 

 

 

 

 

I guess it's true when people say love is blind.

And what surprised me the most is that eventhough I lost someone dear to me, God is fair.

He granted me someone who is able to shower me with endless love.

JunKyu-oppa, you'll always be in my mind.

Ghun-oppa, I'm glad I found you.

You changed my prespective about life and you left such an impact in my life.
