"You are....." Juliane interrupted.

 

 

I turned to her immediately and then..

 

 

"OWWWWWWWWW!!! My foot!!!!!!!!"

 

 

I grabbed her arm and took her somewhere else.

Somewhere far from the crowd at least.

 

 

 

"YA!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ON EARTH DID YOU STEP ON MY FOOT??? AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER, IT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG TO YOU, RIGHT???" she was mad at me and was standing on one foot.

 

 

"Unnie, as much as I love you, I had to! Because..."

 

Oh great. What am I suppose to say? That she was about to spill everything? No way!!

 

 

HyunA-unnie came up to us.

 

 

"Girls, anything up? Julie, what's the matter? Why are you standing on one foot?" she seemed surprised when she looked at Juliane.

 

 

"Aaaaaa, long story unnie! Will tell you later!" I told her.

 

 

"Unnie, can we go now? Pretty please? I'm not comfortable with the guys. They're too tall, I feel like a midget ;____; Please???" I tried to persuade her.

 

"They're not gonna eat you up, ________! If they try to do anything funny, I'll karate them, ne? Hahahhahaha!" she rubbed my shoulder.

 

 

"U-u-unnieee.."

 

 

"Come! It's not nice to leave them like that!" she asked us to go back to our seats.

 

 

Juliane followed her and clearly she was still in pain and she gave me a death glare.

 

 

"Oh God.."

 

 

"We're sorry, something came up.." HyunA apologised to the boys.

 

 

"Ne, it's okay.." Ghun-ssi responded.

 

 

He kept looking at me though.

 

 

"So, shall we hang out outside? The air is a lot better than here.." Haewon-ssi suggested since he couldn't stand the air-conditioner.

 

 

"Jeongmal?? Okay, let's go!" HyunA-unnie wrapped her arms around Haewon-ssi and walked out with the rest of us following from behind.

 

 

"Can things get any worse..." I mumbled to myself.

 

 

 

"Hey, Juliane right?"

 

 

"Y-y-yup.." Juliane responded to Taefung-ssi.

 

 

"Shall we?" he smiled at her.

 

 

She just nodded and walked with him, leaving me all alone.

 

 

 

As we were hanging out near the park which was a few metres away,

 

 

Someone tapped me by the shoulder.

 

 

"Hey.."

 

 

It was him.

 

 

"Hi.." I replied in a calm manner.

 

 

I can't emphasise more on his height! Is it even possible to be that tall??

 

At times like this, I really wish I had my heels.

At least I won't feel like a dwarf walking next to him. Damn it. Why am I so short :_____; This is soooo unfair!!!

"So, I'm Ghun. Nice to meet you.." he wanted to shake hands with me.

 

So I did.

 

 

"Did you enjoy...the cake?" he asked me all of a sudden.

 

I guess he knew who I was despite my glasses.

 

 

"Yeah, it was nice.. Thank you very much.."

 

Little did he know that the cake lost it's shape. Oh well..

 

 

We both stayed silent, trying to come up with something to talk about.

 

 

"Errrr..."

 

We both looked at each other shyly.

 

 

"You first!"

 

We said that at the same time.

 

 

"No, you!"

 

It continued for quite a while.

 

 

"Not me, you!"

 

 

We laughed thinking how funny it is that we say the same things at the same time.

 

 

I looked away.

 

 

"Ladies first.." he smiled when he said that.

Cat got my tongue. I was unable to say anything.

 

I blushed.

 

 

"N-n-nothing. I forgot what I was about to say.."

 

 

"Really?"

 

He seemed a little sad and looked elsewhere.

 

And then there was that awkward silence between us again.

 

 

"Errr, you're in high school, right? Freshman?" he looked at my uniform.

 

 

Oh mai gawd, I'm not!

 

 

"Ani, it's my senior year.."

 

He was dumbstrucked when I told him.

 

 

"I'm sorry! I thought....you..."

 

I cut him off.

 

 

"It's okay, I get that a lot. I don't look like a senior, right? I guess it's because of my physical...you know.." I smiled at him.

 

 

"I'm sorry again.. I didn't mean to... I-I-I... Ugh, I'll shut up now.."

 

He looked cute when he said that, haha.

 

 

I giggled when he 'zipped' his mouth and 'threw' the 'key' to his mouth 'far away'. Hehe.

 

 

So the 'ahjusshi' knows how to do aegyo now?

We both laughed. Pretty hard.

 

 

"Ya, what's going back there?" the guy with the stern look glared at us.

He's creepy that he gives me the goosebumps!

 

 

"Taefung-ah, it's nothing! We were just chatting, weren't we, __________?" he grinned at me.

 

Oh, so his name is Taefung..

 

"Ne!" I nodded quickly.

 

"It seems like you two are getting along well, hyung!" Sulhu teased the 'ahjusshi' and winked at him.

 

 

"Maknae!!" he gave him a glare.

 

I tried to contain my laughter as he slapped the maknae's arm, softly of course.

 

"Hyung, noooooooo.... aiya!!" Sulhu was being all dramatic.

It was 8 P.M. and the sky was getting dark. Taefung-ssi offered to drive us to HyunA-unnie's home since he didn't want us to walk by ourselves. He was such a gentleman!

 

Since my mom is away, I'll be sleeping at her place for the night. Plus I was too tired to walk home.

 

 

 

"It's great to see you again, Haewon-ssi!" HyunA-unnie smiled and gave him a hug, which he didn't expect at all!

 

He started to stammer.

 

 

"N-n-n-ne.."

 

The other guys were chuckling to themselves.

 

He cleared his throat and tried to keep his cool.

He kept puffing his cheeks, which was kinda cute? :3

 

 

"Please do give me a call if you ever need a dance partner, arasso?" he said that in a single breath and hid his face.

 

 

"Hehe, ne! I'll definitely call you! You're the best dancer I know! What's your number by the way?" she took Haewon to a side and they were exchanging phone numbers.

 

 

Both Zin and Sulhu was sleeping at the back, I think. They didn't make any noise throughout the drive.

 

 

Taefung-ssi stepped out of the driver's seat and opened the door for Juliane.

 

He took her hand.

 

"So, would you...like to hang out sometimes? With m-m-m-me?" he asked Julie-unnie shyly as he was scratching the back of his head.

 

Clearly he was asking her out!

 

 

"S-s-sure.." she answered.

 

 

You should have seen her expression! Hahahaha! xD

 

 

"Great! Can I call you? If that's okay with you?" he flashed a small smile at her.

 

Turns out that he was a nice guy despite his fierce image.

 

 

I was still in the car, getting ready to step out with my school bag but the 'ahjusshi' grabbed my wrist all of a sudden.

 

 

"Mm?" I turned to him.

 

 

 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to.."

 

"Nahh.. It's okay.."

 

 

"I guess this is goodbye, huh?" he said to me.

 

"It's nice to see you again, Ghun-ssi.." I told him.

 

 

"It would be nice to...you know.." he looked elsewhere and was fidgeting in his seat.

 

 

"To...what..?" I asked him.

 

 

"T-t-to see you again, s-s-s-someday?" he said softly.

I just nod and he handed me his smartphone all of a sudden.

 

 

"W-w-what?" I was confused.

 

"Can I..?"

 

 

I stared at him. What was he indicating?

 

 

He was pointing at my phone in my hands.

 

 

"Oh! My number? Is that what you mean, Ghun-ssi?"

 

 

He nodded like a little kid.

 

 

I guess it's okay, so I gave it to him.

 

 

I was about to leave when he pulled me again.

 

 

"What is it, now?"

 

I was getting tired and I swear my eyes were like Garfield's.

 

 

"Y-y-you.." he paused.

 

 

"I..what?"

 

 

"Your..."

 

 

I noticed that my bracelet got tangled up with his collar.

 

 

Okay, that was embarassing .______."

 

 

 

"I'll h-h-h-h-help you.."

 

 

He was getting closer to me, trying to untangle my bracelet from his collar.

 

 

His face was just a few inches away from me.

 

As I look closer, he had such cute eyes.

He has really nice bone structure and his....

 

NEVERMIND!! >_<

 

 

After a few minutes, he managed to get it off.

 

It sure felt awkward.

 

 

"T-t-t-thank you, again.." I was slightly embarassed and hurrily stepped out of the car.

 

"Ne.. Goodbye, _____!" he waved at me.

 

 

They boys soon drove off and the three of us went into the apartment quickly as the night was slightly chilly.

 

 

"Ghun-ssi. Thank you.." I said to myself and kept staring at my bracelet.
