_______ has been so busy this days.

She's been staying at home and not wanting to go out even if it's a weekend.

Yeah sure the exams are close but it's not good to stay at home all the time.

I need to do something.

 

 

 

 

It was a Sunday morning so I decided to come over to her house.

I wanted to bring HyunA-unnie along but she wasn't free.

Oh well.

I guess it's up to me to solve this.

 

 

 

 

*Ding Dong!*

I pressed her doorbell.

Hopefully she'll open the door for me.

 

 

 

I waited for about a minute then I heard a clicking noise.

Is that the sound of the door opening?

 

 

I tried to open the door but the door opened by itself.

It was her!

 

 

 

 

"Unnie..." she looked at me with such sad and tired eyes.

 

 

I gave her a hug.

 

 

"Why won't you answer my calls nor my texts? Is your phone dead, woman??"

 

 

"Ani.. I just didn't notice them, that's all.. Coming?" she continued.

 

So I went in.

 

 

She lead me to her place and her books were everywhere.

 

 

 

"W-W-What's going on here?? Was there a typhoon??" I was shocked as hell seeing her room.

 

 

 

"I'm sorry. I was about to clear the books up but..."

 

"Come, let me help you with that..."

 

 

I picked up one of the books and arranged them neatly.

 

 

 

I looked at her and she seemed pretty exhausted.

 

 

 

 

After 15 minutes of cleaning up, I sat on her bed.

 

 

 

"______-ah. Come here." I asked her to sit next to me.

 

 

 

 

I took her hands.

 

 

 

"Is everything....okay?"

 

 

 

"Ne, unnie.." she had a small smile on her tiny face.

 

 

 

"Are you sure? You seem worn out. Don't you think you're overworking yourself? I mean, look at you.." I was sad to see her condition.

 

 

She was getting thinner and thinner and it worries me alot.

 

 

"Have you been eating? You look so thin.." I rubbed her arms.

 

 

 

"I guess I've been too busy studying, unnie.."

 

 

She got up.

 

 

"Should I get you something? Drinks maybe?"

 

 

 

"Anything will do.." I responded.

 

 

 

My friend, that was once very bubbly and happy has changed into something unexpected.

 

 

I grabbed my bag, took out my phone and dialled a number.

 

 

 

 

"Oppa.."

 

"Ne, jagiya?"

 

I decided to call Taefung-oppa.

 

 

"Is Ghun-ssi there, at the store?"

 

 

"Ne, but he's been acting weird all day.."

 

 

 

"I see.. Do you think I can come over and maybe talk to him?"

 

 

"You are always welcomed, love. What time will you be here?"

 

 

"I'm not sure, I'll give you a call when I'm on my way, ne?"

 

 

"Ne.. Jagiya.."

 

 

"Yes, oppa?"

 

 

 

"How is ____-ssi?"

 

 

 

"Not too good. I'm at her house at the moment."

 

 

 

"Really? I see.. Please send my, I mean our regards to her. Haven't seen her in a while.."

 

 

 

"Sure thing, oppa.. I'll see you soon.."

 

 

I placed my phone back and she was back with some drinks.

 

 

She handed me a cup and sat next to me again.

 

 

 

"Who was that?" she asked me.

 

 

 

"It was Taefung-oppa.." I told her.

 

 

She kept looking down.

 

 

 

I took a sip and looked at her fragile frame.

 

 

 

"____-ah.."

 

I sat closer to her.

 

 

 

I gave her a hug and she burst into tears all of a sudden.

 

 

 

"Something wrong, ____?"

I didn't know what was going on.

 

 

 

She pulled my shirt and kept crying.

 

 

 

"____-ah,.."

I pat her shoulders.

I couldn't say anything else.

I guess it's best if she let it all out.

She's been bottling up her feelings for too long that it's eating her up inside out.

 

 

 

It went on for a while and before I know it, she fell asleep in my arms.

I placed her on her bed and wiped her tears from her cheeks.

 

 

It was a sad sight.

 

I kissed her forehead before I left her house.

 

 

 

I took a taxi and went straight to the Little Xenos.

I just had to see Ghun-ssi right now.

 

 

 

 

Once I was there, I saw him.

He was standing by the window and was looking outside.

I looked over and there was a playground not too far from the store.

 

There were kids playing.

 

Was he looking at them?

 

 

I approached him slowly and tapped his shoulder.

 

 

"Ghun-ssi.." I said softly.

 

 

"N-N-Ne?" he stammered.

 

He bowed and smiled a little when he saw me.

 

 

 

"Are you here to see Taefung-ssi?"

 

 

 

"Ah, ne.."

 

I nodded.

 

 

 

"But, I came here to see you, Ghun-ssi.."

 

 

He pointed at himself.

 

 

"Me? Wae?"

 

 

 

"Follow me to the playground. Let's talk there.."

 

 

 

Before we left the store, I gave Taefung-oppa a hug and waved at everyone else.

 

 

 

All of the guys were smiling at me.

They knew why I was there.

I sure hope this will work.

 

 

 

 

 

We sat at one of the benches and he kept looking at the little kids that were playing at the slides.

 

 

 

 

"Ghun-ssi.."

 

 

He looked at me.

 

 

"Ne?"

 

 

 

"How are you? I haven't seen you in a while. Is everything okay?"

 

 

 

He just nodded.

 

 

 

 

I tried to think of suitable words.

I wanted to tell him about _____.

 

 

 

 

"Ghun-ssi, have you heard any news from _____?"

 

 

 

He looked at me in such confusion.

 

 

 

"Ani.." he responded softly.

 

 

"Why? Is something up?" he asked me.

 

 

 

"You two have been acting very weird lately.. Is there something I should know of?" I gave him a serious look.

 

 

 

 

"It's nothing..." he looked down again.

 

 

 

"Ever since that day, both of you started to act really...weird..."

 

 

 

"Can I ask you something, _____-ssi?"

 

 

 

"Ne?"

 

 

 

"How long have you been friends with her?"

 

 

 

 

"You mean ____?"

 

 

 

"Ne.."

 

 

 

"We have been friends for a long time.."

 

 

 

"Then I'm sure you know about her lover, right?"

How did he know about JunKyu?

"Ghun-ssi. Did you know that he was her first love?"

"They've known each other since they were little kids. He was always there for her through thick and thin."

"But eversince he left, ____ hasn't been herself." I continued.

 

 

 

 

"What do yo mean 'he left'?" he finally responded to me and came closer.

 

 

 

 

"He passed away because of cancer."

 

 

Ghun-ssi seemed surprised.

 

 

 

"I-I-I'm soo.." he paused.

 

 

 

"When did he passed away?" he asked.

 

 

 

"He passed away about 3 years ago.."

 

 

 

"Oh..."

 

 

 

"What made things worse was that she was with him at his deathbed. Days after his passing, she didn't talked to anyone. She wouldn't even eat. She was even hospitalised a few times because of that. Her parents couldn't do anything about it.."

 

 

 

"But she seemed okay.. Well, before this.." he continued.

 

 

 

"It took her quite a while to adjust to the whole situation. She cried sometimes, but it wasn't as bad as it was before."

 

 

 

"So... What are you trying to say? Why are you telling me all this?.."

He didn't quite get my message.

 

 

 

"I know you like her, Ghun-ssi. A lot, am I right?"

 

 

He looked away.

 

 

 

"You are the only one who can save her from falling into the blackhole again. You wouldn't want her to get hurt, won't you?" I begged him.

 

 

 

"I'm not sure if I could.. I mean.."

 

 

 

"You'll never know if you never try, Ghun-ssi."

 

 

 

He nodded again.

 

 

"She likes you too, did you know that?"

 

 

His jaws almost dropped when he heard me.

 

 

 

"J-J-Jeongmal??"

 

 

 

"Ne. I saw the way she looked at you. It was different, very different indeed."

 

 

 

He smiled a little when he heard me.

 

 

 

"I know you and JunKyu are different but I know you can do something he is unable to. Which is to take care of her. You can love her with all your heart when he couldn't.."

 

 

 

 

He quickly got up.

I was surprised myself!

 

 

 

"W-W-Where is she?"

 

I got up too.

 

 

"She's at her house.. I..."

 

 

Before I could finish my sentence, he quickly hopped into his car and drove off.

 

 

 

 

I sure hope he can save her.
