(I posted this on my birthday but I deleted it. I was supposed to separate the chapters into their own stories but decided to let it be for now. Reposted on May 2, the anniversary of this fic.)

Ending (Last Chapter)

Two years later:

It was a roller coaster adventure starting from the first Christmas Eve you all had till now. You can still remember how shocked the others were when you and Jungkook came together while holding hands and having new hair colors. Jimin’s reaction was the one you cannot forget as he shook his soulmate excitedly telling him to pay.

It seemed that they were betting about it which Jungkook complained about. Jin and the others hugged you, happy that you found each other and also complimented the new hair colors. Surprisingly, even Yoongi and Namjoon took it well. All Jungkook received that day was a warning and a threat from both of them as the two mother hens congratulated you.

And now, two years later with all of your relationships going well… you stormed inside the Rooftop Paradise where the others are lounging.

“What did you do to me?” you demanded, hair whipping in all directions as the wind passed by. You glared and pointed accusingly at your soulmate as the others held their breaths and looked just as confused as Jungkook.

“What?” said soulmate stuttered, breaking into cold sweat as he nervously glanced at the frowning males and towards you.

“How dare you take advantage of me?!” You yelled and huffed as everyone who heard it froze.

“HUH?” all of them exclaimed, eyes widening.

“What is this all about?” Yoongi whispered, shaking his head

“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Jimin whispered back, horrified.

“Suga-ya, hold my earrings or so help me, I’m going to freaking beat that little up.” your sister raged-whispered.

“You’re the same age.” Hoseok cut in and rolled his eyes when the glare got directed at him.

Jungkook stayed still, looking at you and ignoring your group of friends watching as the drama unfold. He just looked at your troubled face, your frown, the tears in the edges of your eyes and the tension that was set in your whole body.

Worried he had done something wrong, Jungkook’s heart started beating rapidly. Taking one step forward, you growled.

“Don’t you dare come near me, you hear?” you hissed, taking a step back.

“Jagi, did I do something?” Jungkook asked gently, eyes pleading for an answer.

“Yeah. You did.” you snarked, glaring at him and crossing your arms. “Take full responsibility.”

“Of what?” Jungkook asked, genuinely confused.

“Omg, we’re going to be godparents!!!” V announced loudly, shaking a scandalized Jimin and grinning brightly and obliviously at the frozen audience. They were so shocked at V’s statement that they missed you facepalming yourself.

Jungkook looked at you wide-eyed and jaw slacked open.

“I-is it true?” you raised a hand at him and smacked V.

“I’M NOT PREGNANT!” you yelled and the others immediately relaxed and glared at V who just smiled sheepishly.

“What? Isn’t that what taking full responsibility meant?” Taehyung asked, defending himself.

“Yeah! And don’t blame him!” Jimin pouted, “You guys thought the same too!”

Jungkook grew quiet as he sighed and took the remaining distance to be near you. He wrapped his arms around you and kissed the side of your head as you frowned at them.

“So what is it that I have to take full responsibility of?” Jungkook whispered near your ear, leaving a peck on your ear lobe.

“Nevermind.” you mumbled, blood rushing to your cheeks as Jungkook chuckled at how cute you are. “I was polishing my acting skills.”

“Okay, now that’s that. You guys are disgusting.” your sister commented, giving a judging look at you and Jungkook. You tossed a table napkin on her direction while sticking out your tongue. “Yeah, very mature.” she added, sticking out her tongue too.

It was one of the times where you all clear their schedules for a day to hang out and have an escape to reality and responsibility.

“My sister and Jungkookie really have the same habits when they’re young. They both stay up late. They still do, come to think of it.”

“I’m not lazy, I’m on energy saving mode.” you said, raising a glass and sipping from it.
