Hanna’s pov:

So, a prank huh? Lee Haneul and Lee Seunghyun, both of U know me well enough right? U know how generous I am? Don’t worry, guys. U’ll get back whatever u give me.

So, me and the others had come up with a plan for revenge to the pranksters couple. First step, pretend to fall for their trick because they weren’t supposed to know that we knew they’re pranking us. And in the end they were the ones who will get hoodwinked. Hahaha. And now, I’m laughing out my evil laugh silently.

**At Coffee Prince**

“Why are U guys so late? Where did U go?” Min ah asked the tricksters.

Both of them grinned. “No where. We just… uhm, never mind. Forget it.” Seunghyun retorted.

“Why? What happen? U guys seem like U‘re hiding something from us. Come on tell us what is it?” Joongki questioned ‘curiously’.

Somehow, it appeared as if we’re holding an acting showdown to see who get fooled first with each other’s fake expressions.

“Actually, on our way here, we ran into Mr. Henney. He told us to hand to U this.” Haneul handed over a folded blue paper. Wow, wow, wow! She actually knew our English teacher’s name.

I took it from her hand and unfold the paper. I pretend to read the note which I sort of already knew the content of it, thanks to Chandoo.

Joongki leaned closer and from the corner of my eye, I could see that he was pouting. But, I couldn’t tell whether it was a real pout or he’s just playing along with the prank.

On the note, it says ‘Kim Hanna shi let’s meet up at the school foyer tomorrow during recess. Come alone. I can’t wait to see U. Daniel.’

I heard a deep, ‘frustrated’ sigh from Joongki.

“Hanna, what’s this? Who is this guy? Doesn’t he know that I’m your boyfriend?” Joongki furrowed his eyebrows.

“I… I don’t know. He’s my new English teacher. I just met him for the first time today.” I retorted while playing innocent.

Seunghyun cleared his throat. “Joongki, don’t scold her. Hanna didn’t do anything wrong.”

“U know what? Maybe we should teach this guy some lessons.” Seunghyun continued.

“What are U guys up to? Why is everybody look so serious?” Top’s deep voice surprised us as he took a seat beside me.

Min ah who was sitting on the opposite side looked down on the table, clearly avoiding Top’s y eyes.

“There’s this new teacher in our school sent a love note to Hanna. And we’re discussing on how to get back to him.” Haneul explained to my brother’s college friend.

Top nodded. “Cool! A teacher, huh? At least he matches with our Hanna at that part.”

“What are U talking about? Hanna already got a boyfriend, and that’s me, okay?” claimed Joongki.

“Chill, man. Top hyung is just joking. Right, hyung?” Seunghyun tried to meddle in between the angry boyfriend and the frank but thoughtless friend.

“I know U guys are dating but what I meant was that, as we all know Hanna is really smart. And I guess so is that guy since he’s a teacher. That’s why I said they’re kinda… match? Don’t U guys think so?” Top asked as he saw our disagreement expressions.

“But, Joongki is really smart too. He’s our school’s number 1 student.” Min ah defended.

But then, her face turned red when she realized what she just did – first and ultimately, talk to her who-knows-how-long-has-it-been-crush for the first time, second; look directly into Top’s eyes (y eyes if I must say) and finally, go against Top just to defend Joongki.

“Alright. So Joongki is really smart. There’s no need to get pissed. I was just saying my opinion.” Top defended himself.

“So, what’re U gonna do about that thing?” Top asked me as he picked up the note.

I shrugged my shoulder and let out a small sigh. I glanced at Joongki through the corner of my eyes to see his expression.

“We’ll think about it later.” Joongki answered on my behalf.

“Do U need my help?” Top asked. He’s concerned, I guess since he’s the eldest among all of us there.

I shook my head immediately, don’t want any more fuss. After all, it’s just a prank.

“It’s okay, hyung. We… I mean, they can settle it themselves.” Seunghyun uttered.

“Yeah, that’s right. Joongki’s here, so of course he can help Hanna to handle Mr. Henney.” claim Haneul.

“If that’s the case, then I guess I’ll get going now. Bye, guys.” Top stood up, picking up his bag.

“Oh, by the way, Hanna, does Onew know anything about it?” he asked.

“NO! I mean, no, he doesn’t. Please don’t say a word about this thing to him. U know him well, right? He’ll definitely freak out if he does.” I begged Top to keep his mouth shut.

He chuckled. “No worries.”

Seunghyun cleared his throat after he finished the last sip of his mocha drink.

“I think we gotta go now. Let’s go, Haneul.” He pulled Haneul’s wrist.

“Bye. See U tomorrow.” Haneul bid us goodbye.

There was an awkward 10 seconds of silence as there were only me, Joongki, and Min ah left sitting on the corner of the café.

“Uhm, do U think I should go too?” Min ah surprisingly asked a surprising yet weird question to me.

Joongki laughed. “Why did U ask that?”

“I don’t know. Everyone’s gone, so… I should go too, right?” she asked, innocently.

“U can stay if U want, but Joongki and I are going home now.” I joked.

“What? Then, what am I gonna do by myself here?”

“Do anything U pleased. Plus, this is your uncle’s place.” I said.

She pouted which is rare since Min ah is not the type that will get touchy over small things.

Joongki realized what happened and quickly pat her back gently to comfort her.

“Min ah, I’m just joking. Are U mad?” I tried to persuade her.

She shook her head and smiled.

As we were walking out the café, suddenly we heard Uncle Dong Wook called Min ah from behind.

“Min ah, do U want to follow me to visit your grandparents?” he asked.

“Sure. Sorry guys, I’ll see U tomorrow at school. Oh, by the way, if there’s anything new about the plan, let me know, okay?” Min ah said.

“Don’t worry about that. Bye, Uncle Dong Wook.”

“Bye. Go home safely. Joongki, make sure U walk Hanna home and don’t leave until she gets into her house.” Uncle Dong Wook said.

“Alright.” Joongki replied.
