“Good morning jagiya” Mino said stretching as he walked to the kitchen

“Good morning, have lunch palli.” Byul said looking at the time which showed 9am

“We’re really going on a date” Mino chuckled

“Of course I am a responsible yeoja jingu” Byul said continuing to cook when the doorbell rang

“I’ll get it” Mino said as Byul nodded

“Eomma” she heard Mino say

“BYUL!!” eomma ran inside ignoring Mino making him pout

“Eomma, I am here too” Mino muttered making Byul laugh a bit

“Neh eommonim” Byul smiled as she looked at Mino’s mom walk in with her grandson

“Aigooo its Minhyuk-ie yaaa” Byul said running towards the kid

“Du-na!!!” the kid shouted running towards her as she carried him in her arms

“Eomma I have a date with Byul” Mino pouted

“Byul, I really need your help. I have duty at the hospital till 7pm tonight and so I wanted a favor from you” Mino’s mom said

“Till 7? Yah eomma~” Mino muttered as Byul laughed a bit as she looked at the kid

“Why do you have to be so cute my Minhyuk-ie” Byul smiled kissing the baby’s cheek

“Eomma, count on me!” Byul said taking Minhyuk’s hand

“Aigoo, neomu geumawo Byul-ah, at least you are understanding unlike your boyfriend” Mino’s mom said as Mino stood there pouting, crossing his arms

“I’ll be leaving now then” eomma said

“Ah jinjja? Arasso eomma, see you later” Byul smiled as she carried Minhyuk

“Say bye to harmoni” Byul said to the two and a half year old Minyuk as the kid waved at his grandmother

Minhyuk was Mino’s cousin’s son. Mino was an orphan – one of the reasons why Byul loved him so much.

Minhyuk’s mom died when she gave birth to him, she was a widow. Hi father died of alcohol overdose. It just seemed so unfair to Byul that Minhyuk – an innocent kid like Minhyuk had to suffer. She wanted to be guardian, just like how her haraboji was for her.

“I thought we had a date” Mino said, sulking as soon as his mom left

“Minhyuk-ie do you want to go on a date with noona and hyung?” Byul asked as Minhyuk nodded, his eyes forming crescents

“Aigoo, so cute, let’s have lunch first oh?” Byul smiled as Mino smiled a bit looking at Byul and Minhyuk

“Who wants to play cars with oppa?” Mino asked

“ME!” Minhyuk said happily running to Mino as Byul smiled lovingly at the duo.

SOON:

“Kajja!” Mino said as Minhyuk grabbed both his hand and Byul’s hand

“Hyuk-ah, listen nicely to noona, you can’t run anywhere you like okay?” Byul said as Minhyuk nodded excitedly

“Yah namja jingu, shouldn’t you wear a disguise or something?” Byul chuckled as Mino proudly smirked

“I’m not scared” he said as Byul playfully face-palmed herself

“Merry round!” Minhyuk said happily making Byul laugh a bit

“After that Mino hyung will treat you to ice cream” Byul said eyeing Mino

“Of course” Mino muttered as Byul let out a small laugh

AMUSEMENT PARK:

“Where to first?” Byul asked as Minhyuk pointed to the merry-go-round

“Of course” she chuckled

“Mino hyung will take you” Byul said as Minhyuk clapped his hands

“Kajja hu-ng” Minhyuk said literally jumping

“Ah why do I have to go?” Mino pouted

“Be a good appa and kha~” Byul said giving Mino a light push

Byul watched lovingly as Mino sat on the merry-go-round with Minhyuk and smiled

*He’ll be a great appa* she smiled to herself

“Saranghae” Byul said making a heart at Minhyuk

“Saranghae jagiya” Mino said as Mihyuk looked at Mino and then at Byul

“Saranghae noona” the small kid replied.
