Chapter 18: Lesson Learned
Descendent of the MoonDue the recovery period demanded by the Doctor towards Moon, she was assigned to give an introduction for tacticks to recently addmitted soldiers to the special forces. Most of begginers think is just a game of following the leader, but every veteran knew that one blow can kill easily. Her way to prove they were comitted was one simple task. She divided them in teams of 3 each group.
-You should take the coin out of the bowl with water without touching the water. You have 5 minutes-
They all seemed bewildered from such a request, she insisted on the rules: no touching the water.
-Can we boil the water?- asked one.
-If it doest harm the bowl- she answered.
They seem desperated and rushed. The interesting thing was how she perceived different types of characters: the impatients, which had already spilled half the water, the overthinkers, which haven't started doing anything and the know-all, whose attitude showed the test itself was unnecesary.
-Time is up!- she yelled and begun to inspect such dissapointed results. She knew they were begginers, but it was way too much. The last group she inspected was the one with a peculiar individual, who did not say nor help in anything at all.
-Soldier...- she look the uniform - Kang?-
-Yes Mam-
-Excuse me? Have you gone blind?-
-No Mam- he answered.
-Than why do you keep calling me MAM! - he kept silence -Are this insignias invisible for your delicate eyes? Who do you think you are?-
-Soldier of the glorious nation of South Korea-
-Ok, ok. Did they trained you poorly back in your base enough to not call your superiors by their rank and avoid participation in any training? Do you think this is a test to bluff?- she went an stood right infront of him, his expression harden -What's the matter soldier?- she said defying. Since they arrived where she was, he expressed disdain towards every word she said. It was not a matter of nationality, it was incomformity of a women teaching him something -Anything you can add or comment to this test soldier? Speak freely please-
-I belive its unnecessary- the rest of the team sight at such an answer, they knew he was on the wrong.
-Is it? How come?-
-It is not related to our training-
-How would you know if its related to your training or not when you just started training a month' ago? Can you solve it? Can you do it?- no answer - As dumb as it sounds dear soldier Kang, you just broke your own purpose to be here. "Aproach like a ghost"
