"A group of students stood there in a circle looking at the girl like she was a lab rat laughing at her while she just sat there on the floor, her hair caked with egg , her blue blazer tainted with residue of flour as she tried herself from crying but in vain 

"So will you tittle tattle again?"

"Oh no poor you, should I go tell the teacher?" one of the girls mocked 

"Who do you think you are huh?!"

"Teacher's pet"

"Oh look little baby's crying" 

"Someone call her mommy" 

And one by one each one of them left leaving her alone there in the now deserted hallway. She just sat there sobbing her eyes as her body shook violently  

Her eyes opened abruptly,as she absorbed her surroundings heart beating fast sweat around her face ,Krystal tried to calm her nerves 

"Just a bad dream" She muttered 

She tried hard to sleep it off, but all those bad memories kept on reappearing, and  soon it was time for school.

Leaning against the wall, Lay waited for the class to get empty. As students poured out they started staring at the handsome guy in front of them and started getting giddy 

seeing them Lay smiled and nodded in acknowledgment peeked in the classroom and after waving to the crowd entered.

She was bend over placing her books in her bag

"Hi Krystal"

Hearing her name being called, the said girl turned around and narrowed her eyes when she saw who it was

"Lay-ssi are you a stalker?" she blurted out 

Hearing this his cheeks flushed red and said

"Uh no!"  and gave out an embarrassed laugh 

"So then?"

"Can't a guy and girl be friends?"

"No"

"You're really stubborn aren't you" 

"Anyway here's my number. If you ever feel like talking to someone call me. Okay?" He said placing a paper on the desk, he smiled at her and left 

Alone in the classroom again,Krystal stared at the small piece of paper on her desk contemplating what to do with it, when her phone started buzzing 

"Hello?"

"Krysatl-ah"

"Oh hi Jinri" 

"Krystal-ah I've got a request ,can you please take my shift today I'm really sick"

"Sure Jinri, what time?"

"4pm"

Krystal looked at her watch

"! it's 3:45 right now, gotta go Jinri take care"

Krystal haphazardly placed her remaining books in her bag got up and was about to leave until she again saw the piece of paper and without any second thoughts picked it up and left the room

"Hello! Welcome to bakery land" An apron-clad Krystal said standing behind the counter

A guy entered the shop ,he was maybe in his mid twenties but with they way his sleeves were folded up two buttons open he had a bit of a boyish charm. He kept on giving glances at Krystal while choosing out his bakery products who at that time was oblivious of the others actions. He kept on eyeing her up and down as he walked to the counter like a hungry predator.

"Here you go" the guy said placing the items on the counter

Quietly, Krystal checked the items

"That'll be $30 sir" she said looking up and caught the guy staring at her weirdly 

"Uh...um"  he fumbled out money from his
