After my club activities I went straight to our meeting place.

As I walks towards the meeting place, I can feel my heart pounding so hard. I feel so nervous like I never felt like this before.

I am near the meeting place when I saw Seungcheol standing in the middle of the court.

I continue to walk until I am now standing in front of Seungcheol. It took us a couple of minutes with just staring at each other before Seungcheol talks

“I really have something to ask you, but I know that if I simply ask you, you wouldn’t answer me. So I propose to play a game”

“Game?” I ask

“Yes, I am going to give this basketball to you, all you have to do is to throw it to me, I will catch it and shoot it. If the ball went inside the basket then you have to answer my question” he said with a determination in his face “Deal?”

“Do I really need to your question?” I ask

"Yes, don't worry I will only ask one question" he answer "So do you agree?"

I just nodded as an answer

“Here” he said and handed the basketball. He went back to his position and said “Ready when your ready”

I took a deep breath. “Ready!” I said and throws the ball to the left side of Seungcheol. The ball went a little bit far from where he was standing.

Seungcheol caught it naturally and shoot it perfectly inside the basket

“Now for the question, are you ready?” he ask

I took a deep breath first and bravely answer "Yes"

He stared at me straight in to my eyes and talk “Why are you avoiding me?”

I know that he will ask that question to me… It sure hit perfectly

“I just wanted to know if I did something wrong to you, or did I told you a corny joke in front of everyone that embarrassed you, or did i…”  he keeps on talking while walking back and front. He keeps on telling some possible reasons that might cause my strange behavior to him

But seriously, some of his reasons are my first time hearing it. Maybe he did it to someone else that really cause him trouble.

While seeing him looking trouble while talking nonsense, I can’t help but to laugh

“Oh! Now you’re laughing” he said when he notice me “You think that I am saying nonsense here and looking so stupid, right? Do you?! Do you?!”

“O-of course not” I said behind my laugh

“Then why are you laughing? Do you really think I am funny?” he said while making funny faces

“N-no… Hahaha!!! Stop it already” I said behind my laugh

“Ok ok, I will stop, but you still need to answer my question”

“Ok fine” I said behind my chuckle

I took a deep breath and look at him “Actually it’s not your fault, it’s mine. I really don’t know what is happening to me and I still don’t know the reason why these things are happening to me. Actually I really don’t know what it is”

He just looks at me while listening to me. He just stand there quietly

“I started to think that it will all disappear if I avoided you, maybe it will be back to normal. But I am wrong and cause trouble to you. I'm really sorry"

He look at me and started to laugh
“Hahaha!!! You really are something, don’t you know that?”

“Huh?” I confusedly ask

“What about this? I know for sure that you wouldn’t tell me why do you feel strange, because you still haven’t discovered it. But I really want our friendship to be back, so I thought that we need to play a game again”

“If I ever shoot the ball again to the basketball ring we can be friends again and do just what we normally do like nothing happen. But if not, you can continue avoiding me and I wouldn’t disturb you until you solve your problem. What do you think? Call?”

I nod happily to him. I like his idea especially that I realize that avoiding him is not a good solution, and I really miss him when those days that I avoided him

“Ok!!! Here’s the ball and I will go back to my position” he said and went back to his former position when we started

“Ready?” I shouted at Seungcheol. He then gave a “o” sighing that he is ready

I throw the ball to his right side. He caught it immediately and shoot it in the basket. The ball went perfectly inside the basketball ring

“It went IN!!!” Seungcheol happily said while jumping up and down

I watch Seungcheol happily celebrating. But deep inside I am also happy now that finally we can go back being friends
