"Oppa what do you think? Will this be good enough?" Taeyeon asked Jiyong as she walked into his room. She was wearing a plain white botton-up shirt partnered with jeans and a brown coat. She wanted to look neat and mature when they faced the judge later for Jiyeon's custody hearing.

"Anything you wear looks good on you" he said smiling at her "and what's even better is that we match!" he  said spreading his arms to show her that they were indeed wearing matching clothes 

"Hahaha oppa was this the reason you bought me this set, to have a matching outfit with mine?" 

"Wae~~?? It's nice!! And look!" He said turning her around to look at Jiyeon who was sitting on his bed "Doesn't it look cute on Yeonnie as well?" he asked her proud of what he bought them. He saw the clothes when they were shopping. The original tops were supposed to be printed shirts with matching designs but he thought that they would also need some semi-formal tops just in case they get spotted so he bought them and added the white botton-up shirts.

Taeyeon smiled at Jiyong when she thought of an idea "come oppa let's take a picture!!" so she dragged him on the bed with Jiyeon in the middle and she held her phone up to take their picture. "Say kimchi!!!"

 

"Yeon-ah can I borrow your phone? I want to send the picture to my phone as well" he asked but as Taeyeon took back her phone from him she saw that he made it into her wallpaper before she could even ask about it he showed her his phone showing that he did the same with his. 

"Oppa what if someone sees that?" she asked concerned 

"Don't worry my lock screen wallpaper and my home screen wallpaper is different, same thing I did with yours, so the only way people would see this is if you unlocked your phone for them. Pretty smart right? Hehe"

"Wow oppa you really love praising yourself huh" she laughed at him

"You can't deny that it's not a good idea though. And I'm just happy for our first family picture that I want it to be the first thing I see everytime I open my phone" he happily told her but his smile faded while reaching for her phone "sorry if I assumed that you would want the same...here let me change it back for you"

"A-aniyo! I like seeing our picture as well. I'm keeping it!" hearing Taeyeon's words made Jiyong happy but he still pretended to be sad and reached for her phone to change the picture 

"Ani give it here! I'll change it since you don't seem to want it.... I'll just change it to a picture of ME!!! Hahaha so that you won't forget your darling husband!" he joked 

"Hahaha "darling husband" you wish oppa hahahaha" she laughed as they wrestled the phone from each other. Like little kids they ran around the room while Jiyeon clapped and laughed as she watched them play around. 

"Hahaha oppa I give up, I give up. But I'm still keeping our family picture!!" she shouted gleefully 

"No you got your chance!!! Give me that I'm taking my picture!! Hahaha I'll take a good one so that you won't miss me when I'm away too much hahahaha" he said still trying to reach her phone, they didn't even realize that they were on the edge of the bed so Jiyong accidentally made Taeyeon fall on the bed with him on top. 

They were enjoying their game too much so they didn't realize how close they actually were and what position they were in. It was Taeyeon who first noticed so as subtly as she could she tried to push him of a little while still pretending to play with him but Jiyong caught her hands in his. His face turning serious Jiyong stared at Taeyeon's eyes "you have the most beautiful eyes Yeon-ah" he voiced out surprising Taeyeon 

Dugeun Dugeun dugeun 

"Tha-thanks O-oppa....let-let's get up, we might be late if we don't leave now" she tried to escape from his grasp but Jiyong just held on to her tight

"Taeyeon-ah....the last time....I said it was a spur of the moment....." he said while still staring at her eyes seriously and slowly leaning lower and closer

 "I assure you....

this time....

....it's not..."

Taeyeon couldn't help herself, she couldn't even close her eyes, she stared deeply into Jiyong's eyes as he came closer....two inches....one inch left....they could already feel each other's breath....

"Eomma, appa does Jiyeon get a kissh too?" Jiyeon suddenly said beside them shocking them both

Yep. They actually forgot that she was there so her question made the two of them stand up and face away from each other awkwardly 

"ye-yes baby, eomma and appa will give you a kiss if you like, right appa?" she said to him pretending to smile but deep inside her heart and mind was troubled 

"that was close, too close Kim Taeyeon...the last time you kissed someone you ended up in tears....please dear Lord don't let this relationship end like that....please" 

"Get Jiyeon ready. I'll get the car" Jiyong ordered without looking at her, he couldn't face her because she'd see his flushed face "sheesh not again!!!....wait....are you actually disappointed Kwon Jiyong??!!!" 

"Ye-yes oppa" she answered fanning her cheeks to cool them down "are you sick eomma?" Jiyeon asked her as Taeyeon got her things "ani, wae?" She asked the girl "but your face is red and your cheeks are warm just like Jiyeon's when Jiyeon is sick" the little girl said while touching her Tae eomma's face. 

Jiyeon's innocent words made Taeyeon blush more "jeez even the kid noticed, don't be too obvious Kim Taeyeon" she said to herself.

"No Jiyeonnie, eomma is not sick, omma's body always feels warm. Now come we have to go to appa, he is already waiting for us outside"

"Mr. Kwon and Ms. Kim the judge will see you now. Please come in" the clerk said to them after they waited outside the room for about half an hour.

"Mr. Kwon and Ms. Kim, I am Judge Lee, assigned to handle Choi Jiyeon's custody case. I am sorry for your loss and for hers but this matter at hand has to be dealt with utmost care." Judge Lee started as they sat down. Jiyeon was taken by the social welfare officer earlier.

"Her custody was entrusted to the both of you by her parents in any event that something happens to the both of them. Had you two been blood related to the parents the issue would be different but we are having this hearing right now since the two of you are not related to her parents in any way" He continued

It was Jiyong who answered him "yes sir, and despite that, we are very willing to take her with us and treat her as our real daughter" his answer made the judge nod while reading the files about Jiyeon and the two adults adopting her

"Ms. Kim, I see here in your marriage certificate that you just got married recently, may I ask if it is a marriage of convenience just so that you could adopt Jiyeon?" Judge Lee addressed Taeyeon 

"An-aniyo Judge Lee, you or maybe if you have children, may know us as Big Bang's G-Dragon and So Nyeo Shi Dae's Kim Taeyeon, so with our status as idols you know that we can't make rash decisions like this because it would affect our careers. Jiyong oppa and I have known each other for a long time and we did intend to get married someday, so our marriage has long been planned only the date has changed because.....because of this situation..." she finished sadly good thing Jessica reminded them beforehand to make sure they take lots of pictures together and to match their stories just in case the Judge asked about their relationship "if you want sir we can call some of our friends to confirm"

"No need, no need. I am convinced about your relationship." he said before calling for the social worker, Ms. Ahn, to bring Jiyeon inside the room

"Jiyeon-ah annyeong" the Judge welcomed the girl who immediately reached for her eomma

He them took out some photos and showed them to Jiyeon, the first was a photo of Minji and Jin Woo "Jiyeon-ah do you know these people?" he asked her

"Eomma and appa!!"she shouted gleefully as she reached to touch the picture 

"Do you know where they are now?" His question made the girl sad as she turned to hug her Tae eomma again

"....Tae eomma sshaid that eomma and appa had to leave Jiyeon....they couldn't even say bye bye because they don't want Jiyeon to cry....Ji appa sshays that they are in the ss-sky watching Jiyeon, like the starssh at night.... Jiyeon likes starssh." 

Her answer brought tears to Taeyeon's eyes as she hugged the girl tighter.

"But Jiyeon ish still happy because they sent Ji appa and Tae eomma to be Jiyeon's appa and eomma!! Right eomma??!" the girl turned to Taeyeon 

"Yes baby we'll be your appa and eomma" she said while wiping her tears

 

"I see that the girl has attached herself to you both and that she is happy....so I will grant your request to adopt Jiyeon. But you know that she would need to change her name right, from Choi Jiyeon as your daughter she will be Kwon Jiyeon"

"Yes we understand, but we would still tell her the truth about her parents in the future, she has every right to know" Taeyeon answered

"If that is your decision then I have no more question about your sincerity in adopting the child. I will sign her adoption papers but for the next six months Ms. Ahn shall come by once a month to check up on Jiyeon's welfare, is that understood?" Judge Lee asked the both of them

"Yes thank you sir!" Jiyong replied happily. Finally Jiyeon is really theirs.

"You hear that Jiyeonnie? They said you can stay with appa and omma~~" he sweetly told Jiyeon taking her from Taeyeon

But Jiyeon who didn't really understand what was happening smiled seeing her eomma and appa happy. She turned around to look at her beaming eomma "eomma can we have some ice cream?"

"Jiyeonnie appa will buy you all the ice cream in the world!!!" Jiyong laughed upon hearing her question. 
He was just so happy that Jiyeon can be with them that he was willing to give everything she wants.

Taeyeon seeing them so excited wanted to tease the both of them "you can't oppa" she said seriously 

Her seriousness made Jiyong turn to her in question and wiped the smile off of Jiyeon's face "Jiyeon can't have all the ice cream in the world?" the girl asked her eomma sadly

"Baby, if appa buys you all the ice cream in the world then eomma and appa won't have any ice cream left to eat" she broke into a grin "can't eomma and appa eat ice cream as well Jiyeonnie?"

"You can eomma!! Eomma and appa eat ice cream with Jiyeon!!! Jiyeon will have only one so that eomma and appa can eat ice cream as well!!" the little girl excitedly said not understanding that her eomma was just joking

"Really? Let's go then! Jiyeonnie what will you say to Judge Lee and Ms. Ahn?" Taeyeon asked the girl who in turn bowed to the two elders "bye bye haraboji and halmoni" her cute action earned smiles from all the adults present

 

 

 

"Oppa why don't we take Jiyeon to the amusement park. We can wear cartoon masks as disguises or something. I don't think she's been there yet and we'll be busy once we return to our schedules" Taeyeon said while they were enjoying their ice cream by the park, it was a weekday so the park was almost empty aside from a few passersby.

"Are you sure Yeon-ah? I know you don't like crowds and the amusement park tends to get crowded any time of the day" Jiyong asked concerned for her comfort

"Kwenchana oppa, as long as they don't recognize us we won't get mobbed by our fans and what's more who in the world doesn't like amusement parks, you don't know how many times me and the girls snuck out just to go and play hahahahaha" 

"Arraseo, arraseo if you're sure then let's go!!" he replied getting excited like a little kid

 

 

At the amusement park Taeyeon and Jiyong chose cute brown bear masks for each other. Taeyeon got Jiyong a brown bear mask with a goofy grin while Jiyong got her a white blushing bear mark. They also bought Jiyeon a bear headband to complete their set. 

"Oppa let's take a picture as a souvenir for our first family outing!!"Taeyeon said excitedly

"Wait!! Let's change our shirts first! No one would recognize us anyway" he said showing her the matching set of shirts that he got for them "it matches the theme of our disguises as well"

"So cute oppa!!!" Taeyeon squealed seeing the shirts. When they changed into their shirts Taeyeon changed Jiyeon's as well.

"Kyupta!!!" A couple whispered from somewhere near them. They also received some smiles and some people even took their picture but it wasn't because of who they are but because of what they're wearing. 

Taeyeon and Jiyong were wearing couple shirts printed with cute bears cuddling with the backs printed with Mama Bear and Papa Bear while Jiyeon's shirt had a picture of a small bear crawling with the back printed with Baby Bear. The shirts coupled with their masks hid the idols identity well but their family's outfits still called the attention of the crowd who won't stop taking pictures. 

"Oppa the outfits you chose look too cute to be unnoticeable!" Taeyeon told her husband but her tone didn't sound worried 

"Ani it's not the clothes but because you and Jiyeon look cute in your outfits that's why our pictures are getting taken" he cheekily replied earning a light slap on his shoulders from Taeyeon 

"hahahaha oppa please speak for yourself. Anyone who would know that G-Dragon is the one under that outfit would faint from shock and squeal from your cuteness!"

"Can't you just say that I'm handsome or something? I don't think cute fits my image as a badass idol" he pouted

Taeyeon just laughed at his request as she pulled him closer to her and Jiyeon "come on oppa where's your phone? Let's take a picture!!" so they took lots of photos of themselves and of Jiyeon who looked so cute in her bear headband

"I saw a picture booth earlier let's head there first so that we can have a picture without masks!!" Jiyong said so with Taeyeon's bag in his arm and Jiyeon's backpack on his back he led his family the way back to the picture booth he saw near the store.

 

 

"Jiyeon-ah are you tired?" Taeyeon asked the sleepy girl in her arms 

"Ani, eomma Jiyeon wants to play more!!!" the little girl said as she tried to hide her yawn in her arms

"Come here Jiyeon-ah, appa will carry you. You can nap for a while before we play again alright" Jiyong said as he took Jiyeon from Taeyeon, he saw that his wife was already tired from carrying Jiyeon around and was somehow guilty that he let Taeyeon carry her all morning.

"Okay~~"Jiyeon said as she yawned once again. She immediately fell asleep as she hugged her appa's neck. 

"Oppa should we go and have some lunch while Jiyeon sleeps? I'm hungry and I bet so are you with all those lines we had to go through just to get on the rides" they had decided not to buy express passes as this was the first time that the two of them will get to go to the amusement park as normal people since they have become idols.

 

"Yeah sure lunch would help if we are to keep up with Jiyeon's energy" Jiyong said agreeing with her idea to eat. He was hungry but was not able to think of how he should tell his wife because he was embarrassed to tell her that he lost his wallet.

"Um....Tae....I promise I'll pay you back later!!!!" he said so suddenly bowing as deep as he can with Jiyeon in his arms. 

"Oppa.....you lost your wallet didn't you? Hahahahahaha you're so funny oppa!" she laughed. He had been so proud earlier paying for all their rides and all the snacks and toys that Taeyeon and Jiyeon asked for. "Of course I'll pay oppa, who told you to pay for everything anyway? What's mine is yours remember? Now come and let's eat" she said pulling him along.

Taeyeon was surprised when Jiyong didn't let go of her hand but decided to let him do it anyway. Jiyong felt happy as they swinged their hands back and forth, feeling lightness as he finally admitted in his heart and in his mind "I like you Taeyeon-ah, I wish....you would like me too..."

 

 

Snap. snap.

"Oppa! Oppa are you listening to me?" Taeyeon had been trying to get his attention by snapping her fingers in front of his face. 

"Huh uh what were you saying again?" he asked as he realized that they had arrived at the restaurant inside the park 

"I was asking you what you wanted  to eat. What were you thinking about oppa? You spaced out for a while, I had been talking all this time and you didn't even hear what I said!"

"Uh nothing I was just....um...... watching the crowd, yes uh..... just in case someone recognized us" he reasoned out but his face was blushing under his mask 

"Oh.... if you say so oppa..."  she said, not entirely convinced of his reason "Is chicken good enough for you how about some noodles oppa?"

"Sure. Anything is fine with me" he answered "I'll get us a seat by the corner so that we won't be seen easily. It's hard eating with a mask"

"Thank goodness she didn't ask anymore" he thought as he went to a seat by the back of the restaurant while Taeyeon ordered their food.

 

 

"Oppa here" Taeyeon said shyly as she raised her chopsticks to feed some food to Jiyong. She could see that he was having a hard time eating while carrying the sleeping girl so she wanted to help him eat.

"Um....thanks" was all he could answer as he ate the food. His heart was thumping so hard that he thought it would wake Jiyeon. Their meal was so awkward as Taeyeon continued to feed him while she ate, they didn't even talk to each other because of shyness at what they are doing...

"Eating like this.... it really makes me feel that we are husband and wife" he finally said to break their silence

"Haha but we are married oppa what do you mean that it makes you feel like husband and wife?" she laughed at his words and some more "Were we playing house all this time?" 

"Ani, Ani that's not what I meant." He said defensively "I just meant that before this I felt that we were just close friends but you feeding me makes me feel that we really are married....and that you are really my wife....it's just surreal"

"I know what you mean oppa.... and me feeding a guy with the same chopsticks I'm using is also as first for me....it just feels too intimate...." she said turning red

 "you know oppa.... I think it's weird that we are having this realization in an amusement park" she said to cheer up their mood once again as she put another piece of chicken in

"Hahaha I guess you're right" he smiled seeing her perk up as well "hey can I have that piece of chicken. Thanks" he said as Taeyeon put some more food in his mouth.

They finished their meal and continued strolling until Jiyeon woke up. Going on rides all day tired them but seeing the look of happiness on their daughter's face made their exhaustion all worth it.

 

 

"Time to go home Jiyeonnie~~ did you have fun?" Taeyeon asked their daughter brighly

"Neh~~ let's come back again next time eomma and let's bring Shika eomma and Bae appa and Joohun eomma and kry-krys-Kryshtal eomma!!!" 

"Hahaha yes next time baby, and it's Joo-Hyun, Yeonnie-ah not Joohun, arraseo?" Taeyeon corrected the little girl while patting her head in admiration because she memorized the name of her's and Jiyong's friends despite meeting them only for a while.

 

 

 

 

"Oppa I'll make us something to eat after I clean Jiyeon up okay" Taeyeon said to her husband as they entered their house

"Don't worry Tae, I'll order us something so that you don't have to cook, I know that you're tired as well" 

"Hmm. Then I'll wash up as well. Call me when the food comes alright, there's some money inside my bag for the food when the delivery arrives."

"Hey I do have some money you know, I just lost my wallet but we're at home so I have some cash in my room. I'm paying." he declared running inside ahead of Taeyeon to get his money

"Aish this oppa" she snickered, she couldn't believe that she's married to someone who acted like a kid

"Jiyeon-ah, sometimes your appa acts younger than you, don't you think so?" she asked the little girl in her arms tickling her as she spoke

"Neh~~ appa ish-issh silly!!" Jiyeon said while getting tickled by her eomma "sstop eomma!! It tickles!!"  Her melodious laughter brought a smile to Taeyeon's face as they went upstairs to Jiyeon's room.

"Let's wash up now okay? Then we can go eat what appa ordered. Go and get your pajamas!" 

"Yesh eomma!!" Jiyeon said as she went down from Taeyeon's arms and ran to her wardrobe cabinet to get her new favorite pair of pajamas.

"You want to wear this baby? Aren't you tired of bears? We wore bear outfits all day already." Taeyeon asked but the girl insisted on wearing the bear print pajamas so Taeyeon had no choice but to let her. After she finished washing and clothing Jiyeon she closed the door of the room and gave some toys to Jiyeon on the bed "wait for eomma to finish arraseo? We'll go down together later" she ordered the girl before she took a shower

 

 

Knock knock knock

"Taeyeon-ah the foods here...." Jiyong froze as he stared into the room before immediately stepping out and shutting the door behind him

 "I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!!! I didn't know you were changing I promise! I didn't see anything I swear!! Well I did see something but it WASN'T MUCH! Ah I didn't mean that your body wasn't much. I just meant..um...aish....the-the foods here!!!" he shouted from outside as he ran down the stairs.

Jiyong's embarrassment was nothing compared to Taeyeon's who didn't know how to react. As quick as she can she wore her own pajamas, carried Jiyeon from the bed and followed Jiyong downstairs

"Fo-forget what happened oppa" she said as she saw how flushed he was in embarrassment, she herself was blushing because of what happened "don't worry opppa... I had....um.... I had undergarments under the towel...and....um....we are married anyway....so it's...um" she said shyly but the truth was that she was just saying that for his sake, she didn't really have her undergarments under the towel, she was just too embarrassed to accept the reality that for the first time in her life a guy saw her body, even if the guy was her husband.

"O-okay but again Tae I'm sorry for barging in, clearly I wasn't thinking... and I'm sorry" he bowed to her repeatedly 

"I said its okay oppa, it's partly my fault for not locking the door. Now let's eat I'm starving" Taeyeon said to change the subject

They both ate without looking at each other and without talking, only when Jiyeon asked them both do they speak to each other. It was the most awkward meal they've had ever since they got married. 

 

"......oppa have you contacted your manager yet? What did your company say?" Taeyeon asked to break the awkward silence as she fed Jiyeon

"Yeah I talked to my manager earlier. The president got mad at me running out but they were glad that I was safe. I guess they bought Youngbae's excuse.....but they want me to return by the end of this week.....how about you?" he asked back finally gaining the courage to look at her

"Same here but I think they weren't as mad at me as yours was because we were initially given time off from promotions"

"Oh I see.....when do you have to go back to your schedules?" he inquired

 

"Same as you, by the end of this week....oppa if we both have schedules what about Jiyeon?" She said looking at the girl beside her

 

"Eomma, Jiyeon go to school!!!" Jiyeon said hearing her name from her parents

"Ehh?? School??!" Taeyeon asked confused about her words

 

"Actually Tae, when I received my schedule from my manager I looked for a daycare near our place for Jiyeon during one of our trips to the supermarket. We found three and Jiyeon was the one who chose which one of the three closest she liked best. I even talked to the owner and explained our situation. Their center takes in kids whose parents are both working. They mostly teach kids Jiyeon's age art and music since they said that at this age a child's attention span is still short"

"That's great oppa!" Taeyeon exclaimed feeling proud of Jiyong who already planned out what they could do. "We can leave her there when the both of us have schedules and pick her up when we finish. And oppa, I forgot to tell you that Jessica called, she said that we can leave Jiyeon to her if we need a babysitter when she's free and she said that Krystal volunteered as well"

"Send them my thanks then, that will surely help if we have to go abroad. I don't like the idea of leaving Jiyeon in the company of other people who we don't know too much. About the daycare center, we can check it out tomorrow if you like and we can talk to the teacher as well." He said relieved that they could leave Jiyeon to someone they know especially since they usually have concerts outside Korea and taking her is not an option unless they want the others to know about her

 

"I'd like that oppa" she replied smiling "eomma will look at your school too Jiyeonnie okay~"

"Neh eomma!! Jiyeon will stay there so that eomma and appa can work and appa can buy Jiyeon many many toys!!!" She said brightly earning a chuckle from her parents. Looks like she now knows that she could get her appa to do anything she wants.

"Hahahaha appa promised to buy you all the toys you want?" Taeyeon laughed at Jiyong who looked sheepish when his promise with Jiyeon got revealed 

"Is that how you convinced her to spend time at the daycare? Toys? It hasn't been long since we got her and she already has you wrapped around her fingers!!" she teased

"Wae? I want to spoil our daughter and why would I work so hard if not to buy my family everything they want!" He proudly said

"Hahaha really oppa you're spoiling her too much, you are such a daughter pabo!" She answered her heart warming at hearing his words 

"Aigoo oppa you really do have a way with you words.... our daughter.... my family....you really love having a family don't you" Taeyeon thought as she stared at her husband who was trying to feed Jiyeon some carrots

 

After dinner Jiyong cleaned up as Taeyeon brushed Jiyeon's teeth. Jiyon came to the room as she tucked Jiyeon in. 

"Jiyeon-ah where's appa's goodnight kiss?" he said as he came closer to the bed pretending to pout so Jiyeon sat up on the bed to kiss her appa and eomma's  cheeks "nightie night appa and eomma" 

 

"Do you want me to read you a story?" He asked her

"Hmmm.. Aniyo~~ eomma can you sing a song?" she cutely asked her eomma

"Sure, anything for our princess" Taeyeon answered smilingly as she lay beside Jiyeon

"Appa too!" Jiyeon said grabbing her appa's hand and pulling him to the bed making Jiyong chuckle

"Okay okay. Now lie down and listen eomma will sing for us" he said laying down on the other side of Jiyeon

Taeyeon sang a song she remembered from when she was a child and her own mother would tuck her to bed. She sang so sweetly and soflty that in no time Jiyeon's soft snore could be heard 
"she must be really tired oppa, last time she couldn't sleep until i've finished the second song or in your case sometimes a second story" 

"I'm going to watch TV downstairs for a bit. You can noin me if you want" he offered as he stood up from the bed

"Sure, do you have anything to watch in mind?" she asked following him to their living room

"Nothing really. I've got some DvDs over there you can choose what you want to watch" As Taeyeon chose in the movie Jiyong got some snacks and sodas from the kitchen. Silence once again enveloped them as they watched the movie but this time the silence was comfortable.

Sorry about the long wait! How was it? I wanted to put in something that they did to celebrate and going out on a family date in the amusement park was one of them. And Jiyong finally admitted that he likes Taeyeon (though only to himself) what will he do about it? Hahahahahaha and another interrupted kiss hahahahaha, all thanks to Jiyeon! And look who is becoming more comfortable with their married life :) 

Finally Jiyeon is officially their daughter!! But what will happen once they have to go back to their normal schedules? Complications? Stay tuned~~~
