"Please, please, please," I beg at the security guard, hoping that he would let me in. "It's only my fifth day in Seoul. I got lost and bam, I'm late. Please, let me in!"    

The security guard lets out a heavy sigh. "I'm sorry, I really can't. It's in the school rules and regulations. I still want to keep my job, you know." 

He gives me a small apologetic smile and lets out another 'sorry'. 

Damn. I'm doomed. I was doomed. I'm pretty sure I was. That was so embarassing. I mean, being late is normal. But being late on your first day of school? that's no, no.

But then again, what can I do? I was a, how do I say this- uhh, an Internationalized Korean. You know, been living here and there, speaking languages, and stuffs.

And just for your information, I've spent half of my life moving to new places. My dad used to be working under this weird company that kept on making him move from one country to another. Not anymore though, he passed away on my third year of high school. 

But anyways, yeah. The day I turned 16 internationally and well, 17 in korean age, my dad decided to send me back to continue my education in South Korea, my hometown. 

Oh, and by the way, hi! I'm Sarah. Sarah Jung. The main lead of this story. 

And that scene you just saw, was the beginning of my three-years-long roller coaster ride. 

The ride that brought me to my soon-to-be husband. The ride that brought me so many tears and laughter. 

The ride that brought me home, the ride that brought me to the right home. The perfect home. 

Now, now. I'm gonna end it right here.
