Actually, Castor and Skyler were just at the cafeteria.They didn’t talk with each other. They just ate their snacks silently. The people around them were murmuring again. They probably wondered why Castor was with Skyler or why the three rivals aren’t with Castor right now.

Skyler looked at his wristwatch. Recess time is almost over. He stood up and was about to go back to the classroom when he felt Castor’s hand wrap around his. “Follow me.” And so, Skyler, ended up following the prince towards the clinic.

“I always come here in the clinic if I want to escape; especially from those three.” Castor said as he opened the door. He greeted the doctor and nurse kindly before going in to another room. “It’s a private room that is to be used if the doctor or nurse would stay here overnight because sometimes there are school activities that involves staying overnight. They let me use this room anyway and gives me excuse slips.”

Then Skyler felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Seeing that the caller was one of his best friends, he answered it. “Why are you calling me? Recess time is over, ya know.”

“Eh? But recess time just started here.” Skyler can imagine Darwin’s pout. “Why are you using that tone on me anyway? Are you back to being your Skyler, robot self?”

Skyler smirked. “Not exactly. I turned out to be a bad guy, having enemies on my first day of school.” He also noticed that Castor was looking at him with interest. Castor could probably hear everything since the room is so silent that the speaker on the other line could be heard clearly. “Anyway, let’s end this. I don’t have privacy right now.”

“No fair. Darwin gets to talk to you but I can’t.” This time it was Kyle over the phone.

“I’ll call you this lunchtime.” Skyler said softly.

“Yehey! Love ya!” Kyle made some smooching sounds.

“Love you too. Bye.” Skyler hanged up and he felt Castor squeeze lightly on his hand, which made him realize that they’d been holding hands the entire time.

“You have a boyfriend.” Castor stated shyly and softly with a hint of disappointment. Then the next thing he knew was that he was being pinned against the wall. Skyler’s face so close to his own.

Skyler smirked. “Don’t sound too disappointed.” He leaned closer and placed a kiss on the prince’s lips. He purposely used too much force and pressure for Castor’s mouth to open, whether to be able to breath properly or to complain, he doesn’t care as long as he gets the mouth opened.

// It hurts…can’t breath… // Castor opened his mouth so he could take in oxygen but ended up having a tongue inside his mouth. It felt weird having a wet yet soft thing in his mouth. Then he gradually found himself enjoying a kiss, much like he enjoys Popsicles. He regained his breathing as well as he got comfortable with the kiss. But just when he thought he was getting addicted to Skyler’s taste, the blonde just had to pull back.

“I take it. That was your first kiss.” The smirk was back on Skyler’s face again.

Castor couldn’t help but blush at the truth. He felt Skyler loosen the grip on his wrists, which just made him realize that his wrists hurt but so were his feelings. “You’re just playing with me while being unfaithful to your boyfriend.”

“Sorry.” Skyler wasn’t sure for what he was apologizing for as he placed a light kiss on Castor’s reddened wrist. “I’ll go back to the classroom first. Don’t take too long here.” With that, Skyler left he private room but the nurse approached him before he could leave the clinic.

“Just tell the teacher that you brought Castor here at the clinic. The teacher won’t ask any more details with that excuse.” The nurse explained. After receiving a nod from Skyler, the nurse spoke again. “This is the first time that the prince brought company. I hope that you’ll become good friends.”

“I doubt that.” Skyler replied in his usual cold demeanor. “I purposely hurt people sometimes and I just did that to him.” He left, not knowing that Castor was listening to the conversation.

During lunchtime, Kisho appeared in Skyler’s classroom and dragged the blonde out for lunch. The prince watching Skyler being dragged out of the classroom before he turned his attention towards the three rivals that arrived in the classroom.

“I’m so glad to see you safe.” Chrono tightly hugged the prince in relief, which resulted of course with Rascor being angry. Then Xien takes the opportunity to get close with the prince as Rascor was busy arguing with Chrono. Rascor continued his argument with Xien when he noticed the Chinese brunette flirting with the prince.

// I wish Skyler was here to drag me out again. // The prince thought as he continued watching the chaos. “Um guys…I’m hungry already.”

The three immediately stopped fighting and took out food from their bags. Xien offered nutritious food that was taken out from an expensive Chinese restaurant, which his family owns. Rascor offered a variety of flavored milkshake that was ordered from a famous dessert shop. Chrono offered three different flavored cakes, which he brought from an expensive and famous cake store.

In the cafeteria, Kisho and Skyler were having lunch. Skyler was curious about Kisho and decided to ask. “Don’t you have friends?”

“I have lots!!!” Kisho exclaimed. “I hang out with different people from time to time. Not that I get bored of them easily…” He trailed off. “I just have my own reason why I don’t want to have close or best friends.”

“We’re similar, I guess. But I ended up having two best friends anyway. Oi, why are you looking at me like that?” Skyler asked as he paused from biting his burger.

“I just didn’t expect you to share something about your life.” Kisho smiled and grabbed his own burger. “Well, we probably won’t be close friends but I’ll hang out with you for some time until you’ve adjusted to this place.”

“This is what I’ve found out about Skyler.” Xien said as he took out a notebook from his bag.

“You were able to gather information that fast?” Chrono looked at the Chinese in surprise.

“He always does. Why are you still surprise by that?” Rasco rolled his eyes.

“So what did you find out about him?” Castor sounded quite eager that the three can’t help but notice and think that there might be one more rival for Castor’s love.

Xien opened the notebook and began reading. “Skyler came from Kashin Highschool. Apparently, he used to be just a nobody. The people nicknamed him ‘robot’ or ‘doll’ because he doesn’t react and he has a lack of interest in about…anything. Though he does get a confession from time to time, it can’t be helped that he really is good-looking.”

“Why, thank you.” Four heads turned to see Skyler walking towards them. “Your voice is too loud.” He glared hotly at the brunette as he snatched the notebook away from Xien’s hands. He looked at the notes and information about him inside the notebook. “What are you? Stalker?”

“Nah, it’s just his hobby to gather information.” Rascor replied nonchalantly.

“And he’s pretty fast at it too.” Chrono added.

“Well ,let me give you some advice.” Skyler leaned closely on Xien’s ear. “Give information secretly.” His lips touched Xien’s earshell as he whispered so nobody could hear them. It’s sort of an example of his own advice. Then he blew on the ear.

Xien moved away and covered the ear, which was being blown at. His face was flushed caused by the gesture before.

This earned Skyler a smirk. “I’ll keep this.” He said, taking the notebook with him as he left the classroom again. He was planning to retire on his seat but his seat is just right behind Castor. Everything might be awkward if he stays so he decided to go to Kisho’s classroom and get familiar with that guy.

// I’m not as fast in gathering information like Xien but from what I have observed, Skyler is definitely a playboy or a flirt behind that cold mask he wears or is that a part of his mask as well// Castor sighed.

Castor’s class doesn’t have a teacher for their first afternoon subject. The prince was simply bored and turned his chair so he was facing Skyler. “Aren’t you bored? You’ve been silent there for quite a while.” He pouted when he received no reply.

Skyler stared at the pouting face for a while before standing up. “I’m going out. I’ll be back in time for the next class.”

“Eh? Let me go with you!” Castor stood up and followed Skyler out of the classroom. This caused murmuring and rumors to go about again.

Once outside the classroom, “You should think before you act. You’re the president. You shouldn’t just leave the class like that.” Skyler said as he walked.

“But it is also my duty to take care of you as a president. Besides, I can’t just let you go wandering alone. What if something bad happens? Then nobody would be able to help you.” Castor said in genuine concern. “Where are we going, anyway?”

Skyler didn’t answer as he turned into a corner. A couple of more steps and he opened an old and broken-looking door. “It’s an unused laboratory. Kisho and I cleaned it up a bit during lunchtime so at least the tables and chairs are clean now.” The door closed behind them and everything went dark.

Castor yelped and held tightly unto Skyler’s arm. “I-isn’t there a…switch or something? It’s too dark…” The prince’s body was shaking lightly. He’s afraid of the dark.

“It is said that this room has ghosts.”

“Don’t scare me!!! I’m already scared as it is already!!! Skyler, turn on the light or let’s get out of here!!!” But that only earned a laugh from Skyler. “Skyler…” Castor sobbed as he buried his head on the blonde’s chest. “You’re so mean.” He began to cry.

Skyler his key chain flashlight. Now, he could see Castor’s crying face. “There’s light now.”

“B-but…the ghosts..”

“I’m here to protect you. I’ll chant some sacred things to fend them off or call the ghostbusters.” Skyler smiled softly as Castor was looking at him with big, round, innocent eyes like a little child. “I’m sorry.” He wiped the tears away from the prince’s cheek.

“You don’t mean that.” Castor hiccupped. “Don’t say it when you don’t mean it. You said it yourself that you purposely hurt people. You’re so mean. You’re a playboy. I hate you.” He started crying again.

“So you were listening to our conversation earlier.” Skyler hugged the prince and felt the prince hugging him back. “You’re like a little child, crying over little things such as the dark or ghosts. Are you scared of the thunder and lightning too?”

“I hate you.” Sob.

“I know.” And they were like that for a while, just hugging each other for comfort. Skyler rubbed Castor’s back in circles until Castor calmed down. “If I turn off the light, will you cry again?” The only response he got was a tighter hug.

“What did I go to deserve this? We just met. Why do you want to hurt me so badly?” Castor felt his heart beating wildly. He knows that it was partly because he was scared. But he has calmed down now, although he’s not comfortable, he should be fine and his heartbeat should have gone back to normal. It wasn’t just his own heartbeat that he felt. He felt Skyler’s heartbeat equally beating wildly.

“I won’t answer those questions but if it makes you feel better, I don’t have a boyfriend. I wasn’t being unfaithful.” Skyler decided that it was time to tell the truth.

Castor pulled back slightly to see Skyler‘s face. “But that kiss was still meaningless to you, right?”

Skyler’s face didn’t give away his feelings or thoughts inside. “It’s been a long time since I’ve stolen a person’s first kiss. Looking at your rivals, no matter how much they flirt, you still remained somehow innocent. It was obvious that they really respect you. Perhaps your title as a prince has something to do with it. So I suspected that none of them have kissed you yet since you don’t seem to look that interested in any of them anyway.”

Castor knew that Skyler would say something along those lines but he still couldn’t help but feel disappointed. “I guess that’s what I like about you.” He smiled bitterly. “You’re so different from others to the point of purposely hurting me.” He closed his eyes as he felt light butterfly kisses on his tear-streaked face. “And yet, you can be so nice if you wanted to.” He whispered before another pair of lips covered his own.

The kiss was different from earlier. The kiss right now is just a simple touch of lips with a bit of pressure and only lasted for a short while. “Let’s go back to the classroom.” Skyler said but before they did that, they stopped by the comfort room for Castor to wash his tear-streaked face.

Dismissal time…

“Sky!!!” Darwin and Kyle were at the school gates. Darwin waved while Kyle ran up to Skyler and hugged him tightly. “I miss you!!!” Kyle brushed his lips lightly against Skyler’s.

“No boyfriend, my .” Apparently, the prince and the three rivals were there to witness it all. Castor looked pretty pissed as he walked briskly away from the scene. The three rivals followed their beloved prince but not before sending glares toward the blonde named Skyler.

“What’s up with those, guys?” Darwin asked as he walked up towards his best friend and his lover.

“That raven haired guy looked pretty jealous.” Kyle smirked as he was still hugging Skyler. “Aren’t you going to clear things up with him?”

“Let him think what he wants.” Skyler shrugged and changed the topic. “Did you guys skip class? After all, it takes an hour and a half to come here from the city.” After seeing the guilty faces… “Don’t do it again or else you’ll fail at whatever it is your last subject.” But he still had a great time with them afterwards.
