Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, lived a beautiful and kind prince named Mark, who after his mother's loss never laughed again, until he met the brightly smiling apprentice of a glassblower, Jackson. Prince AU, Markson.

Inspired by the Russian fairytale “The Princess Who Never Smiled”.

Foreword

I needed a break from my main work Playhouse and I have long wanted to write a Prince AU because I adore them. I wanted to write Markson, and came up with this idea inspired by how Jackson can always make Mark smile and laugh in the most wonderful ways.

Chapter 7: Wow. This is the first fairytale Markson I've read and it was so awesome all I can say right now is I love their story and their relationship here and how it spanned from something small, a seedling, into something wild and beautiful with little thorns to be found. And then to add JJP to it made it all the more perfect and wonderful. Thank you for introducing such a wonderful twist on the fairytale. Oh and I love mystical magical youngjae at the end too. Ty

Chapter 7: I'm in love with this story, it's been a while I didn't read any pure story like that and wow that's really well-written!
I was smiling all along, imagining Mark as the ethereal prince he is and god I was totally immersed in their world~
Plus the relation between Jinyoung and Jaebum... I could totally see Mark let Jackson be a cute and clingy puppy who would cross some line in touchy affection hahaha
