A wolf ran through the woods and towards a small town. The scent of his mate was overwhelming his heightened sense of smell. It was intoxicating. He stops at the edge of the woods and scans his surroundings. His sticking blue eyes landed on the lady that just exited from a local diner. It was her. His mate.

His mate was a beautiful woman. His complexion was as white as snow and his eyes were like melted chocolate. Her hair was dark and she stood out from all of the people around her. It looks like she was glowing. So beautiful. So graceful. His eyes softened and when he was about to catch up to her, a hunter pulls him back to the darkness of the woods. The wolf yelps and tore himself off the man. 

The hunter was bulky and had scars running down his arms. This man had a different color on each eye. Gold and Blue. A smirk was plastered on his face and a silver knife glistened under the moonlight.

The man attacks and pins the wolf down on the floor, choking the wolf. The wolf was growling and tried to bite of the man but he just simply tightened his grip around his neck, making the wolf weaken.

It was the full moon and knowing wear his mate, he felt weak and hopeless.

"You are a disgrace to this world. A monster. You shouldn't be alive." The man hisses at the wolf but the wolf just stare at him, growling lightly.

The man raises the knife over his head. The wolf close his eyes and breathed in the scent of his mate. The wind starts to pickup and heard the soft whisper of a woman say his name:

"Yunhyeong..." And with that, the wolf opened his eyes and attacked the hunter. His jaws wide open and closed it on his neck. His teeth sank into the hunter's neck and heard him scream in agony. The hunter tries to stab the wolf but only grazed it on its leg. The wolf whimpers but doesn't let go of him. He twists the hunters head and the man falls limp, dead. The wolf spits out the body and looked at his wound, whimpers getting louder.

Silver was like poison to them. If the silver gets in their system, they'd die in seconds and the only ones that can heal it were the healers and--

"My mate..." Yunhyeong whimpers in his head and ran to his mate, ignoring the throbbing of his leg.

You arrive at your apartment, tired. You work as a waitress in a local diner down the street. The pay was good and it kept food on the table and a shelter above your head. You didn't have the luxury of buying new clothes or phones up to date. Your parents were in another country and only send money once a month for your college. 

You dropped yourself on the couch and just lay there for awhile when you suddenly heard scratching on your front door. You let out a sigh, stood up and walked to your front door. You swung the door open and saw a wounded wolf. You gasped at the the amount of blood dripping down its leg. You were afraid that the wolf would pounce at you but seeing how weak it was, it was impossible.

"Oh no. Come on, get inside." You ushered it in and he dragged his body inside and dropped once he was in, trail of blood in his wake. You rush to the kitchen to get a basin and cloth. You filled the basin with water and rushed to it. You dipped the cloth in water, wring it and gently placed it on the wound. The wolf howled loudly and you gently pat his side, shushing him and cooing soft words.

You cleaned the wound from the blood and grabbed the basin filled with now red liquid and poured it all in the sink. You grabbed the first aid kit in the kitchen cabinet and ran to the wolf that was lying on his side and his eyes closed.

"Mr. Wolf, I'm going to disinfect your wound now. It'll sting but the pain will go away." You said, preparing the disinfectant.
