Eli's POV
"Well, it looks like the three amigos have passed out." Luna said putting her hands on her hips. AJ, Hoon and Kevin
were on the couch completely knocked out.
"Jeez, only a few shots and they're already sleeping like babies." Tasia shook her head.
"What a shame." Kiseop sighed.
"Alrightyyy, lets get them in bed guys." Luna walked over to Hoon and grabbed his legs, attempting to drag him.
"Dear lord, why are you so heavy!" she said slapping his knee.
"Five more minutes omma..." he mumbled. We all laughed at him and Kiseop went to help her. Tasia and Nadia
grabbed Kevin and me and CL got AJ. I put him on my back and gave him a piggy-back ride up the stairs.
"You sure you don't need help?" she asked me.
"Yeah, it's okay I got him." I told her. Just then, I felt him feeling my up.
"Kitty, wh-why are you so...so smooth?" he mumbled. From behind, I could hear CL trying to hide her laugh.
"Looks like someone found his cuddle buddy." she joked.
"I'll get the door for you." she ran passed me and opened the door to his room. I dropped him on his bed and he
stared to strip.
"It's so hot...." he said pulling off his shirt. I looked at CL and she looked back at me.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm ganna let you deal with that." she giggled and left the room. I looked back at AJ and he
was practically in his boxers already.
"Aish... " I sighed. I found a tank top and sweatpants in his closet and tapped his shoulder.
"Hey, you have to put these on, come on, wake up." I nagged.
"Nooo, I don't want to omma!" he squirmed in his bed. Looks like I'm going to have to do this the hard way. I pulled
on his arm to make him sit up and quickly put the shirt on him.
"That wasn't so hard..." I smiled in relief.
"Now for the pants..."
I lifted one of his legs so I could get a sleeve through but he just kept kicking and squirming.
"Yah! Stop kicking! You have to get the pants on!" I yelled at him.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he squirmed even more and kicked me in the face.
"Ouch!" I held my cheek and rubbed it. Guess he's going to have to sleep in his underwear. I turned off the lights and
closed the door to his room. That's the first and last time I ever dress someone. I went back downstairs and saw
everyone cleaning up. I took a peek around the room and noticed almost everything was covered in cake. CL was
mopping the floor while everyone else was wiping down the counter and walls. I went over and grabbed a mop to help.
"It's okay Eli, I'll clean up for you since you did most of the work getting birthday boy upstairs." CL said
while grabbing the mop from me.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, you can just go to bed, you look tired anyway." she smiled at me. I like it when she smiles at me...
"Okay... if you insist." I smiled back at her.
"You can sleep in my room tonight, I already left a pair of PJ's on the bed." she winked at me.
"Where are you going to sleep?" I asked her.
"With my Unnie. She won't mind." she ruffled my hair and mushed me up the stairs. I got half way and looked back
at her.
"Goodnight~" she waved and did a shoo-ing motion. I chuckled and went to her room. As she said, there was a pair
of PJ's on the bed for me. A t-shirt and a pair of black sweatpants. I quickly got changed into them and jumped on her
bed. It's been forever since I've been on a real bed... I stretched and put my hands under my head. Today was so
much fun... I can't remember the last time I had so much fun... I don't even think I ever have. I thought about how we
all threw cake at each other and how we slipped and fell while trying to chase each other around. Everyone was
happy. I made a lot of friends today.
Actually more friends than I've ever had. That ajumma and Kibum use to be the only ones I''d be happy to see. I
wonder how that ajumma is doing... I turned to my side and faced the door. Kibum -ah... do you think I made the right
choice? Is staying here really for the best?... for the past month, all I've been feeling was guilt... I feel so guilty for
betraying you and I feel so guilty for leaving you... All I wanted to do was follow what people thought was right for me.
But I know that's not what I should be really doing...or is it?...I'm so lost Kibum-ah... I miss you... My eyes fell droopy
and I started to fall asleep.
-Eli's Dream-
My eyes flew open to the sound of a train whistle. I was sitting on a black bench with no one around me. Everything
was white except for the sky. It was bright and cloudy.
"Where am I...?" I asked myself.
"Eli!" I heard someone say. I know that voice anywhere...
"Kibum! Where are you?!" I looked around and started searching for him.
"Over here!" He waved from a distance.
"Kibum..... Kibum!" I ran towards him and stopped right in front of him. He looked exactly the same as I remembered
him.
"Is it really you?..." I asked.
"The one and only." he said pinching my cheek like he use too. I took one more good look at him and pulled him into
a hug. He's so warm...
"I missed you so much Kibum..."
"I missed you too Eli." he patted my back and we drew away from the hug.
"Where are we?" I asked him.
"Well, I was my way to heaven." he said pointing to the gates on top of a hill.
"Oh...." I frowned.
"I'm so sorry Kibum... If only I thought about it some more... things could have gone differently." I looked at
the floor in shame.
"Hey, things happen fore a reason, and it was my time to go." he punched my arm.
"But still..." I said looking at him.
"I know you didn't mean to do it Eli. It's okay. I forgive you. Don't blame yourself anymore araso?" he
wraped his arm around me and pointed.
"But hyung-"
"I said don't. I forgive you Eli. Stop feeling so guilty about it... I'm actually happy I died. Thanks Eli." he
said while ruffling my head. Is he happy he's not in the organization anymore too?
"Kibum-ah.. when you were gone, I felt really alone... like how I use too before I met you."
He sighed.
"You don't have to feel alone anymore Eli. I know you've made some new friends. And I also know there is
a very special girl looking out for you." he said pushing my nose.
"How did you know that?" I looked at him surprised.
"I have my ways." he chuckled. I couldn't help but join him. Just seeing him made me happy.
"You know.. she kind of reminds me of you..." I told him.
"Oh does she really?" he lifted an eyebrow. I nodded.
"But no one will ever replace you hyung. You'll always be my very first friend." we laughed together and then
the whistle went off again.
"Dang... I don't have a lot of time Eli, but I wanted to tell you something."
"What is it?" I asked him.
"Like I said before, everything happens for a reason, and there was a reason I spilled information about the
organization... In time, everything will revel itself. You just have to wait. Araso?" he told me. I nodded.
"Good." he ruffled my hair and ran after the train.
"Wait!" I tried to catch up to him but it was no use. He jumped on the back of the train and turned around.
"Keep your chin up Eli! Stay happy for your Hyung! When times get rough, just remember, you have
friends beside you! Don't ever give up on them! You got that?!"
"Kibum! Wait! Don't go yet!" I said still going after him.
"Take care Eli! And good luck with the girl! Make me proud! See Ya!~" he waved.
"Wait! Kibum! KIBUMMM!"
-End of dream-
I woke up and sprang from the bed. I was panting really hard. Hyung... Don't leave me yet...
"Hyung..." I let the words escape from my mouth. CL was in the bathroom and I could see her peeking out the door.
"Oh Eli, your awake? I was just getting my tooth... brush..." she raised an eyebrow when she saw me.
"Are... you okay?" she asked.
I just stared at her. She waked over and sat on the bed.
"Did you have a nightmare?" she asked. I shook my head. It was nothing close to a nightmare.. she studied my
face and made a counfused face.
"Hmm... maybe your dehydrated. I'll go get you some water okay?" she got up and started walking towards the
door.
"Wait!" I panicked. She turned around and raised her eyebrows again.
"Don't... don't go yet..." I pleaded. Please don't leave.. She came back and studied my face again and then relaxed.
"I don't know what you were dreaming about but if it's bothering you, you can tell me about it." she smiled at
me. Her smile made me relax a little. I shook my head and said,
"I just... don't want to be alone..." I looked at the floor. She pinched my cheek and started to ruffle my hair.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me about it if you don't want too. Let me just turn off the lights and I'll come
back. Kay?" she got up flicked off the lights, closed the door and was came back like she said. I let out a sigh of
relief.
To my surprise she got into the bed with me and was leaning against the wall comfortably.
"When I don't feel good at night, Luna usually hugs me and sings until I fall asleep." she opened her arms
and motioned me toward her.
"Come on. It will make you feel better. I promise." she smiled at me. That smile again... I looked at her for a while
and nodded. I slowly made my way to her and rested my head on her shoulder. She held me close to her and rubbed
my back while singing Raindrop from IU.
Her voice is pretty...
I put my arm around her and hugged her. She warm too.. Just like Kibum. I closed my eyes and let my heartbeat slow
down.
When she finished singing, she asked me something.
"You feel better Eli?"
I nodded my head. I really was. Her voice was so relaxing.
"Araso... I have to go to bed now. I'll see you in the morning okay?"
She started to move my arm away from her and I started to panic again.
"Wait! Hold on!..." I held onto her.
"Will.. will you.. stay with me?... Just for tonight... please?" I begged her. She stared at me and sighed.
I looked at her with pleading eyes and prayed. Pleaseee, I just want you to stay with me... She looked into my
eyes for a while and then laughed.
"Alright... But just for tonight." she said petting my hair. She sank into the bed covered herself in blankets and
faced me.
We rested our heads on the pillow and she yawned. So cute...
I looked at her for a while then slowly I put my arm around her again. She's so soft... I moved closer too her
and studied her face. It looks really pretty in the moonlight... I reached up and touched her cheek. It's soft and
smooth... I reached for her hair and did what she did to me. Pet it. Her hair is soft and smooth
too...
I thought to myself for a while.
I've only read about things like this in books. I'd never think i'd actually do them. Why does she make me feel like
this? It's like a fairytale...I don't want to stay away from her... I feel like I'm in the right place when I'm next to her...and
when she's next to me... It makes me feel so happy... I don't want to let go of her... when we touch, it makes me feel
calm again... she makes me forget my worries.
She smiled at me and grabbed my hand.
"Your just like a lost puppy. Huh?" she laughed.
I smiled at her and she started petting me again.
"Goodnight Eli~" she closed her eyes and started to fall asleep. I put my arm around her waist again and stared at
her. Stay with me... I don't ever want you too leave... My eyes started to get droopy and so I got one more
image of her sleeping face and closed my eyes too.
"Goodnight..." I whispered.
