Description

Oh Sehun is bang on fifty years of age when he forgets his anniversary day for the first  time.

In fact, he needed reminding of what the word 'anniversary' even meant.

Two universes, connected by fickle similarity.

It takes your memories with it, because it likes the prospect of them.

Foreword

"I have lived my life better than I could've ever imagined. Let it take me."

Oh Sehun wanted to create his own life, his own alternate universe, where he gets to breathe in the purity of the air, free of the lingering antiseptic dominance, to run with the ball between his feet, to attain irrevocable grass stains, to worry about the future, and most importantly: to have a chance at love with his Minseol.

author-nim says...

Hey guys! ^_^

This will be a two-shot, and predictably, a sad one. By the way, there will be a major twist to this (hopefully mindblowing?), and you will see later on. >:D

And about Sehun being 50 years old, come on, it's only realistic that he's old when he gets it. I did my share of research before launching into this topic and found that the common type of Alzheimer's normally occurs to people in their 65+, but their is also something called early onset Alzheimer's, which occurs in people in their 40s-50s.

The title was inspired by the the Fall Out Boy song, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, but my story does not include the meaning 'even though they weren't so great'.

Main characters are...Mr Oh Sehun, and the lovely, Lee Minseol!

Chapter 2: I’m completely heartbroken. I won’t be fixed for a long time. This story is too real for me. A piece of my life, a person i had to let go.
I miss you ‘ALRH’

Chapter 4: I've gotten around to reading 2 of your stories (Wonderwall and this one - the seemingly most angsty ones because I'm a er for angst) and wow they genuinely did not disappoint, especially not this one. I knew there was going to be a plot twist in the sense that Minseol was really Sehun's, but out of all the possibilities I thought of, him suffering of a terminal illness was not one (I thought it was going to be something similar to what happened to Jongin in Wonderwall, but this one was even more heartbreaking to read. I even shed a few tears OTL) You have such a grand talent for writing, and I look forward to reading more of your work :')

Chapter 4: THe first chapter completely reminded me of the movie a moment to remember. Yes. THe story has the potential. You are good with words. I just think it would be much improved if told with a few more chapters, bringing more depth to the story. Nonetheless, you are a good writer. :) Although I wished too, being it an alternate universe and reality, it probably would be impactful if they ended differently? Sorry abt that. But anyway, keep on writing. Practice always brings improvement to all of us :) have a good day.
