I know explanations sometimes ruin the story because it's better to leave it to imagination blah blah, but it has come to my attention that a lot of people who read Thanks for the Memories were confused, and I'm just too nice to leave you in the dark xD

So the 'his dream' universe is actually not real (mindblown?), and is actually what Sehun was writing in his 'tidy, black book'. The reality is literally, 'his reality', and the title of the chapter was supposed to hint at the concept of this story. Little snippets of the detail from Sehun's fabricated life from 'his dream', such as Minseol's allergy to blue icing or Kim Myungsoo's feature and how the characters disliked him were derived from Luhan's stories. And the reason why Sehun was always asking about Minseol, was to acquire the details for his imaginary life. Although he did die in his made-up world as well, it was, lets say, with more closure and kind of satisfactory.
