Lee Jihoon really doesn’t like Kwon Soonyoung. At all.

In fact, Soonyoung is probably the top one on the list of people who annoy Jihoon. And Jihoon is a tiny person who bottles up countless grudges, so you can imagine how long that list is.

And if it wasn’t for the fact that Soonyoung had great agility and was taller than Jihoon, the latter would’ve pummeled him to a pulp already. The world is unfair, Jihoon laments, because God clearly thought that cursing Jihoon with the height of a troll and lactose intolerance wasn’t enough – he had to bless him with a piece of smiling by the name of Kwon Soonyoung whose life goal is to give Jihoon high blood pressure.

Jihoon’s temples suddenly throb and he wonders why – oh, but of course.

“Psst! Woozi! Woozi! Woozi! Why are you just staring blankly at me? Hah, I know I’m good looking but you didn’t have to be so blatant.”

Jihoon’s face falls, as if it was possible to be any more unimpressed than he initially was.

The teacher is still lecturing, but Soonyoung who sits in front of him, had already rotated his entire body around to face Jihoon, much to his dismay. This wasn’t a good morning, and seeing Soonyoung’s chipper face makes Jihoon wonder what life would be like if he was permanently blind.

“Ah, I just love this seating plan. I know you do too, because now you have an excuse to always look at me~” Soonyoung teases, flashing his 100-watt eyesmile.

“You look so freaking ugly.”

Jihoon smiles to himself for his mean jab, and Soonyoung’s bright smile turns a little evil at the edges. He narrows his eyes and Jihoon mimics him, squinting right back.

Soonyoung then reaches out his hand and tips Jihoon’s cup of coffee off his desk. Jihoon watches, helpless and horrified, as the liquid that was supposed to give him life and rejuvenation sloshed out of the cup in slow-mo and formed a sad, steaming puddle on the floor.

Beside him, Joshua slowly pushes his earbuds in.

Jihoon snarls and launches himself across his desk to latch onto Soonyoung’s blonde hair, but Soonyoung ducks in the nick of time and slips out of his seat. Jihoon’s attempt at redemption fails and he bellyflops awkwardly on his desk, too embarrassed and fuming to raise his head.

The whole class stares in silence.

“Lee Jihoon! Kwon Soonyoung! Detention!”
