At the clothing shop we work at - heated and emotional

WHAT DID I JUST DO???

I cursed at myself as (Y/N) walked out that door. I should’ve chased after her. I should’ve hugged her, instead of letting her go out like that.

Things have been hard since we’ve been working at Hae Kyung noona’s clothing shop. While we promised ourselves that our relationship wouldn’t get in the way of work (rather we thought work would be more fun since we’d be together), Hae Kyung noona’s persistent advances took a huge toll on our relationship.

(Y/N) would always get in trouble with noona, even when it was my fault. According to Hyun Joong hyung, who worked at the shop longer than any of us (and was the one who suggested taking up the job with Y/N), noona always had a thing for younger guys and warned me of being my “cute and sweet self” as being a strain in my relationship with (Y/N). I didn’t really notice her advances, until that one time I was chasing (Y/N) when we were fixing the window displays and I accidentally crashed into Hae Kyung noona. (Y/N) got all the blame and scolding, while noona proceeded to let me off the hook and “feel” me up, which honestly freaked me out a bit.

Jinja-neyo?? You’re gonna start giving me skinship right in front of my yeochin (girlfriend)??

I felt terrible and even more insulted that noona did that in front of (Y/N), that I even apologized to her for noona’s rudeness, but the next day (Y/N) was still depressed and upset at me. She didn’t even greet me when she came into work. Even Hyun Joong hyung got a wave and a smile, but not her boyfriend??

I knew at that rate this called for some drastic measures: aegyo. I pulled the best magic tricks and funny dances I knew would always reap a smile on (Y/N)’s beautiful face. I even put on a cute pink skirt, while singing FIN.K.L’s “To My Boyfriend”, to seal the deal. Even Hyun Joong hyung couldn’t contain his signature, hackle laugh as I did Lee Hyori’s part. 

The moment was almost perfect… until Hae Kyung noona came in and started yelling at us (mostly me) for throwing a Music Bank parody in her shop. While even that part was hilarious in itself, (Y/N) was still the one who got in trouble and she didn’t even do anything. I was the one who wore the skirt, for crying out loud.

That’s where our fight broke out. I didn’t expect it to get so heated, especially right in the middle of the sales floor. When (Y/N) told me not to make such a big deal with noona, since she was going to quit anyways, I don’t know how I just lost my temper at her. I had it so easy with noona, since she liked me.
