settling down
This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf****erFortunately, the introduction between the rapper and the owner of the prettiest eye-smile actually didn’t come off awkward to one another, at all. Stephanie didn’t think that Seunghyun was being awkward, neither does Seunghyun about Stephanie. On the other hand, they were all cussing in their minds about how awkward they themselves are towards the other party.
“Should we rent a car?” Jiyong asks as the four of them were passing through an area for car-rentals.
Taeyeon raised her brow, “We’re only here for two weeks,”
Jiyong shrugs. “Better than taking a taxi. I’ll rent a car,” he insisted.
“You’re the one driving, bro,” Seunghyun utters, seeing Jiyong walking to one of the car-rental stand.
It’s Stephanie’s turn to raise her brow. “You don’t drive?” she asks, and the receiver of the question seemed to be startled that Stephanie was trying to have a conversation with him.
“Uh… nope.” he stutters. , why am I so nervous?
“Oh.” Stephanie responds.
Stephanie and Seunghyun – the two of them bump into one another every once in a while, especially during events like Inkigayo or Music Bank or even Mnet Countdown, but it seemed like they both live completely different lives despite living an eerily similar lifestyle, and this is the reason why today was the first time they actually talked to one other.
Jiyong comes back a few minutes later with paperwork in his hand a car key. “Got it,” he cheers, and Taeyeon was startled to see the BMW logo on the car key.
Damn, I didn’t think he’d rent such luxurious car for a two-week trip. We’ll probably end up locking ourselves in our rooms for most days anyways.
The four friends arrived to Bal Harbour Ritz Carlton Resort & Hotel around forty-five minutes later, getting to know each other more during the car trip, throwing facts about one another’s sidekicks.
“Got your booking thingy with you?” Taeyeon checks up on Jiyong, making sure he has his reservation statement ready.
“I booked a two-bedroom suite,” Jiyong casually replies, taking out a page of reservation voucher out of his suitcase. “ For you and Seunghyun...?” Taeyeon asks, quite confused.
Jiyong shakes his head, “For us, duh,” he calmly answers, and he walked straight to the receptionist after the bellboy took care of Seunghyun, Stephanie and his belongings.
“What?!” Taeyeon belted in surprise. She looked at Seunghyun and received a shrug as an answer, whereas she knew for sure that Stephanie doesn’t know anything about this. Stephanie and Taeyeon planned to stay in Taeyeon’s room so Stephanie didn’t have to do any reservation.
The three followed Jiyong who was already checking into his room. “Um, yeah, both rooms are with two queen beds, right?” he asks the receptionist in English, who nodded in response.
“I already have a room for me and Stephanie,” Taeyeon informed.
“Close the room then? And move to the suite, what’s so hard?” he replies casually.
Taeyeon rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. Of course Jiyong would do something like this. Such a diva.
She immediately made her way towards the leader of Big Bang and took out her credit card out of her purse. “Okay fine, but split the bill.” she snaps.
But Jiyong just looked at her and raised his brow. “The short answer’s no, the long answer’s noooooo,” he sing sang, holding the note, and snatches Taeyeon’s card, and places her credit card back into her purse. He stopped singing, then he took a breath, “Now gooooo,” he teases as he pushes Taeyeon away.
