One thing Mark could never understand was how could people leave as easily as they did. How could they come into your life one day and the next be gone. Filled your life with hopes and smiles and the next break your soul. How could love die? When did Jackson stop loving him? When did Jackson stop looking forward to their messages or calls. Goodbyes seem easier than hello's. It seem as Mark was the only one who was trying but then again maybe he was. Jackson would leave for days, months and come back like nothing happen. Messages became short talk. Hours between the two. Some days Mark didn't feel like trying. He felt cold to all this drama. Anything he said was a ticking bomb. It almost seemed like Jackson was hiding his relationship with Mark. Everything felt force and toxic. But Mark knew nothing or made himself blind. His friends told him to leave Jackson once and for all but Mark was stupid enough to stay. He stayed because at one point he did love Jackson. No he still did and yes it hurt but at the end of the day he pretended or told himself that everything was fine. He wanted to believe it as much as he told himself that it was. Nothing ever was the same. The drama grew and it became too much it all became to force. Talking felt like a mistake and most days he didn't even want to open his phone.
