Stage: Elementary
Kindergarten seem to pass by fast. Now Mark and Jackson were now in Elementary School and they both couldn’t be excited. They couldn’t help themselves to be excited after all they were growing up. They now saw themselves as big kids. But things slowly had changed. Jackson was still loud and social but Mark it seemed to only have made him more timid and isolated. He was afraid to make new friends no matter how many times Jackson told him that making new friends was the best thing ever. Mark couldn’t help but to shake the feeling off that making new friends was scary and not fun. Mark found that talking to new people was something he didn’t like to do, because other kids seem to not like him. Mark only wanted to be friends with Jackson. So when Jackson came running to him that he now had a new friend it scared Mark because he felt that this was causing Jackson to move farther from him.
Stage: Middle School
In Middle school everything seemed to change but for the worst in Mark’s opinion. In Middle School it was the year Mark felt that Jackson was busier than ever. In Middle school was the year that Mark realize that he was more girlier than most boys. Mark came to realize that he was most happiest when he was with the girls or when his nails were painted and he was wearing lip gloss. But of course everyone seem to judge him for bein himself . That Mark felt that he had to hide who he was. But it got worst when Mark came to realize that he was actually in love with his best friend. It was then that Mark realize that he hated being in Middle School.
“Mark hey, bro you coming to my house today”
“No sorry Jackson I can’t”
“Why is that, lately you seem to not want to hangout with me anymore. Did I do something…. …”
“No is not that Jackson I just can’t okay” Mark said as he hurriedly left before Jackson could say something else. Jackson just stood unmoving lately he felt that Mark had changed he no longer acted the same. Mark had become distant no longer did he come to his house like he did before, and every time Jackson called him. Mark would say he was busy. An Jackson soon began to notice how Mark was slowly changing. He was no longer the same Mark he once knew. This Mark now wore nail polish and dye his hair any color he wanted. Once month he had red hair the next he had blond. But that’s not what worried Jackson it was the guys who soon started to question everything Mark did and called him out for being unique and of course Jackson tried to be there for him. Like he always did because for Jackson, Mark was someone really important in his life. Mark was not like anyone else.
Stage: High School
Jackson soon came to realize that everything changes in high school and so do people. For a year Mark was gone. He left without saying goodbye and soon he was nowhere found. Jackson did everything to find him, but sadly he couldn’t. Months passed and Mark was nowhere to be found until the beginning of sophomore year. The day Mark return but Mark wasn’t Mark anymore, Mark was now a she.
