I have this best friend of mine, she’s perfect in my eyes. Everything is just so perfect, even though we all know she has flaws but still perfect so no arguing. Her name is Irene Bae, she was my classmate ever since 1st year high. And up until now we are still in the same class. She was the one who talked to me first, and she was my first friend in high school. She is also the first person that I really like and treasure most. We joined the same club, became active student leader and both top performing in the class. We were inseparable, when she’s there, it will also be given that I am there too. But that was before she met someone. Someone who stole my precious princess. And Seulgi Kang is that someone.

We barely talk now, we barely hang out. I am mostly alone when she’s with Seulgi. She just looks for me if Seulgi isn’t around busy with varsity team or if they had an argument. And being her ‘best friend´ I accept her, open arms. I let her cry and express everything she wanted to say even though it pains me seeing her cry, even though it pains me someone is hurting her. And she’s hurting because she loves Seulgi so much.

Sometimes, she’ll tell me how their dates went, how happy she was when they went out watching movies, going to amusement park, walking in the park holding hands like they own the place and not bothering if someone is looking at them. Little did she know, deep down inside I am breaking down. I am broken into pieces. Can’t she see that I can be that person too? I will do everything just to make her the happiest person in the whole universe. I won’t make her cry and she’ll be always my number one prior
