Chapter: Pitiful
Red Thread Of Fate“Everything’s over,” those words kept reverberating inside my head. When I realized that my relationship with Myungsoo was over, my heart always seems to be empty. A week has passed since the day I ended our connection and I’ve been here in our (roommates with Eunji and Namjoo) room, staring blankly at the ceiling. The other members would look at me with a worried face. I heard them say once that I looked like someone who just had a traumatic experience.
--
“Bomi?” Chorong opened the front door as soon as she heard someone knocking. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be celebrating your birthday with Myungsoo?” she asked, letting me in.
I smiled at her. “I’m going to rest so please don’t disturb me for now,” I head towards our room and I see the girls coming out of their rooms.
“Oh, Bomi, why are you here?” Eunji asked, but I just walked past her. I didn't feel like talking. I ignore the girls and just went to my bed to lie down and sleep all of my problems away.
--
“Yoon Bomi!” Namjoo called from below. “Come down here and talk to us! It’s been a week since you’ve returned, but you look like someone who just-“
“Just had a traumatic experience,” I finished her sentence. “I know.”
She groaned. She climbs up the bed and suddenly grabs my feet and pulls me down the bed. I see the girls surrounding me. they all had bothered faces.
“Yoon Bomi, tell us your problem. We won’t know what to do if you don’t tell us,” Naeun said from behind.
Hayoung crouches down to my level and pats my knee. “We’re here for you,” she smiled.
“Hayoung, Naeun, girls,” I started to tear up.
“Bomi,” Eunji hugged me tightly. “Tell us.”
“I… I broke up with Myungsoo.”
--
After telling them my break-up, I felt somewhat quite relieved. They couldn’t believe it neither did I. They already knew about how Myungsoo was changing, but they didn't expect that I would end
