Seriously, what’s with people nowadays. Everywhere I look, I see everyone carrying flowers or maybe chocolates and stuff toys. And attached to them where big, red, heart-shaped hearts saying “Happy Valentine’s Day!”. Oh, I forgot, it’s Valentine’s Day today. Tsk. I don’t care anyway.

I was greeted by my bestfriend’s high-pitched squealing. Gosh, she irritates me sometimes.

“ Min Hyun! Look what I got this morning! ” she squealed, showing me a box of chocolate and bouquet of flowers. She’s noisy sometimes.

“ Ugh. Okay, okay. Sheesh. Stop with the squealing already. My ears are getting irritated, ” I said.

“ Why are you such in a bad mood so early in the morning? Aww, c’mon! It’s Valentine’s Day. Cheer up a little! ” she exclaimed.

“Aish, this girl, "I heard her mumble. I just rolled my eyes. I went over my locker to get my things when this group of girls hanging out near it kept on screaming their lungs out. Gaaaaaaaaah! So irritating! ><

Tsk, such immature creatures. Okay, I don’t know why I’m so pissed right now. I’m just really am at this moment. Ugh. Classes started off. I could feel time passing by very slow. When will lunch time come?! I can’t wait to get my out of here. I can’t stand this agonizing atmosphere. Seriously I can’t feel 'LOVE' in the air. At last, the crappy bell finally rang for lunch break. I immediately went to my locker. I have this odd feeling stirring inside me. I was hoping that when I open my locker, I could find something in there, something unusual. But luck hated me because all that I found there were my usual things. Oh brother, I’m just fooling myself. I bought my lunch and sat on our usual meeting place. Twenty minutes already and Eun mi didn’t show up yet. I decided to eat my lunch ahead because I was starving already.

“ Min Hyun! ” I looked around and saw Eun Mi running towards me. “Sorry I’m late! The boys won’t let me pass if I don’t receive their gifts, ” she said as she dropped loads of chocolate and roses on the top of the table. I wasn’t that surprise, really. I don’t blame Eun Mi for being pretty and being friendly to boys, unlike me. Sigh.
