The End
The NotebookLay stared at Leo confused.
The words played repeatedly in his head.
“Lay, I love you!”
Leo smiled and placed his forehead on Lay’s.
“I love you Lay.”
He whispered.
Leo pressed his lips against Lay’s softly.
Lay froze and closed his eyes.
The kiss seemed to last forever and Lay was disappointed when it stopped.
“See, I do love you Lay.”
Lay’s eyes started to fill with tears as he held tightly to Leo’s coat.
“Now you understand don’t you?”
Lay nodded as he laid his head on Leo’s shoulder.
“I’ve always liked you, from the beginning, it’s just I never knew how to say it to you with you being disgusted or afraid of me.”
Lay nodded and hugged Leo tightly.
“I’m sorry Leo.”
“It’s alright, I’m sorry with all you went through.”
It was silent for a while as the two sat with their hands intertwined together.
“Can I finally read the envelope?”
Lay asked jokingly.
Leo opened the letter and read aloud.
“Dear Lay, Let me introduce myself. I am Leo, occupation ‘Dentist.’ I know that I’m lower class then you and your brother but I do live. I wrote this letter because I didn’t know how to express in person how much I love you. So I settled to writing my love instead. Leo I didn’t write this to impress you or to make you pity me, I wrote this to tell you I love you. Since I met you in the hospital, I fell for you. I saw you had the problem and I wanted to help you so I asked if you could meet me every saturday. I wanted to tell you something.
I love you.”
Lay smiled and hugged Leo tightly.
“I love you too.” He smiled.
“Lay?”
The address boy stared at Leo.
“Can I take off these?”
Lay stared at his gloves as bad thoughts ran through his head.
“I- I”
Leo slowly pulled the white gloves from Lay’s hands.
Lay bit his lip and turned away from his gloves.
“See, it’s alright.”
Leo cooed.
Leo held Lay’s hand in his.
“Your hands are warm Lay.”
Lay smiled.
Warm.
Leo kissed Lay once more.
“Lay do you think Kris except us being together?”
Lay raised his head and kissed Leo gently.
“I think so.”
Leo placed a kiss on Lay’s forehead.
“Then Let’s go home.”
