to everyone who's struggling right now,

waking up to a message that your friend is gone is one of the worst things one can ever experience. having a vision of not seeing them in the future anymore is utterly heartbreaking; no matter how many years pass by, their presence will stick by you and you will always remember them in everything that you do.

i may not know who you are, but i want you to keep going. i'm not telling you to stay alive for the people around you, but i want you to live for yourself. it is hard, it is tiring, it makes you want to give up. but here's a reminder: there's always a rainbow after the rain. various problems are thrown into you not to break you, but to make you stronger. you are a precious gem and you deserve to be alive; you deserve to be smiling widely and feel like you're the happiest person in the world. it may be dark right now, but the light will soon shine; wait for your turn to bloom and everything will be in place. you are worthy, you are important, you are loved. you may not notice this but a lot of people care for you and there will always be someone who is willing to listen: may it be your parents, your friends, or your cousins. they are always here for you. don't be afraid to speak up. it's alright to not be okay. it's alright to tell someone that you're tired. it's alright to open up to someone about your mental ilness. people who love you will always be there for you, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be.

you should keep going because life is beautiful; there are many things in this world where you can find beauty and happiness. you have a bright future ahead of you and you will be an inspiration to others. you will look back to those dark days and feel proud because it did not break you; it only made you become who you are today. you will smile at your family and friends because you're genuinely happy and that's all the matters.
