She was just about to roll down the window when two things dawned on her at the same time: The first was that this woman was an employee at the same tour agency her sister was currently interviewing for if the logo on the vest she was wearing was any indication. There’s been something different about Byul these last few weeks. She’s been carrying herself differently, and it takes a while for Yong to pin it down. Watching Yong perform was a little like having dual vision. Like a superimposed image. Mata Hari onstage, being beheaded and Yong, bone tired but still as passionate and excited as ever while she practiced her songs or rehearsed her lines or learned her dances for weeks and weeks and weeks. || or, moonsun on Mata Hari opening night

“You’re not allowed to eat in here.” Yong said, transitioning from second arabesque to an arabesque croisée. Her friend seemed unbothered, already hunkering down by a corner and opening a small tupperware of kimchi rice. “I won’t tell if you wont!” || or everyone dances ballet and Byul knows the fastest way to Yong's heart is through her stomach.

It was always fascinating to her how much dæmons were more honest than their human counterparts, even without saying a word. | or Wheein’s encounters with everyone and their dæmons.
