A common wonder about the nature of my species is the question of why we must do what we do. We must drink the blood of mortals because we make none ourselves. Our bone marrows are too strong, the muscle too thick for red blood cells to even form. To top it off, the he

“A library?” I asked, clutching onto my sight stick. We couldn't afford an electronic sight stick, one of those that made a sound in relative to distance, so this one was one I could just put in front of me, make sure I don't run into things. “Yeah, I'll drop you off he

That same kid came into the store today. My heart instant started racing, my mind losing all coherency. His hair was neatly placed on his head, a loose, V-neck shirt hanging off his shoulders, tight black jeans curving with his amazing legs. He was perfection. And he grabbed the same thing as always, a box of sodas and two
I watched, sighing when my roommate, Daehyun, came home with another girl. They were giggling, holding hands, kissing as soon as they got in the house. I just stayed in the kitchen, waiting until I heard the slam of his bedroom before leaving and shutting the front door they always left open. I sighed, feeling my heart shatter once more.
“Good morning.” His voice was deep and husky, and I found myself reaching for my cell phone. “You aren't going to call the police.” His voice dropped to an authoritative tone, making me begin trembling in fear.
“Please sign here and the adoption will be complete, Yoo-ssi.” Youngjae couldn't believe it. He was adopting a child. He wasn't just adopting a child, he was adopting a child to raise with the love of his life, that was
Yongguk was up way past bedtime again, IPad in his lap, music flowing through his head. He liked to wait for the other members to be in a deep sleep before he slept himself anyway, ensuring if they had a nightmare, he could comfort them. He also had to stay awake to put the sleepwalking maknae back to sleep. He just smiled when the said maknae was up, eyes st
The three were absorbed in this small connection, and by the time midnight came, they were asleep. Yongguk’s head was on Jongup’s stomach, body slouched in the chair. Daehyun was on the table next to Jongup, with his head curled up on the dancer’s chest.
It wasn't until a couple weeks had passed that Yongguk began getting worried. Yongguk wasn't into guys. He really wasn't into guys.
Just when I was about to leave, I heard a giggle sounding from Junhong's throat. “You're so good at this game, Jonguppie-hyung~!” Jongup just smiled, mumbled a thank you, and continued. I frowned, deciding to stay a little longer, just to make sure it didn't get past video games. I looked over, seeing Junhong squirming in Jongup's lap, his face nuzzling against his neck. “Hyung, stop beating me! Let me win!”
“I haven’t figured it out. Why has he been changing so much? Youngjae and I have been friends since we were so small we couldn’t walk, and I used to pinch his cheeks and kiss his face all over when he fell down, I’d hold him so tight he couldn’t breathe!” I smiled, looking in my coffee mug. “We used to be closer than you and Appa.”
Getting over a loved one's death was difficult, and came with steps. Step one, was make sure he wasn’t pretending that Himchan was still here. Step Two was talk
I coughed harshly, the pain racking my core. I was seeming to fall into an abyss with the plain white walls I’d been staring at for the past hours. I kept blinking quickly to keep myself from going to sleep. I was sure I had a concussion, so that wasn’t an option. The hospital bed was uncomfortable beneath me, so that helped. I was a great Assassin, but sometimes they just get to yo
They were lucky promotions had just ended when their leader came down with the flu. He was told to stay in bed, and make sure he took cold medicine on a consistent schedule. The members took turns taking care of the leader, but most members started slacking off, giving the others longer shifts. Sooner or later, Daehyun and Youngjae had stopped all together, and Himchan was too worried about
It was a coffee shop. A nice, small business owned by a family who knew my mother. There was a boy in the third seat on the bar counter. I immediately noticed him because of the large scar that ran from his right eye down across his left cheek diagonally down to the middle of his neck. He turned to me and I saw that the eye with the scar down it was a lighter shade of brown than the other eye. When he noticed me he simply smiled.
“I trust you because you’re a soldier. Soldiers are disciplined and very trustworthy.” Zelo smiled, turning to the side to get more comfortable on Yongguk’s shoulder. “Was your dad a sold
I began my way home, trying to hurry, but the fierce winter wind blowing back at me was making it difficult. Not to mention I had this bad feeling someone was following me. I kept looking back, but saw no one. I began to panic when I heard a stick break behind me, and I started running, my eyes watering with the harsh wind.
He finally ripped out the music, climbed off his bunk, and did what he didn’t want to do. He found the newly golden hair of his hyung, and he climbed up his bunk, gently laying down beside him. It was strange how much better he felt already.
