personality  Jihae is the strong figure of Pomme, the girl crush who is actually too young to be crushed on. Jihae is the heavy, muscled body of Pomme who's the strongest and most courageous of the girls. She loves sports and grew up with martial arts, making her tough and active as well. She's also known for her great jokes and ability to make people laugh. Yes, Jihae is very humorous. She's also the type that can't shut up, being very loud and even blunt sometimes. Old people often complain that Jihae is not a real lady but she doesn't really care at all. Jihae was brought up this way, and she has become a boyish girl who also doesn't have a lady's manners. She's mannerless, and people often say she behaves too much like a man. Sitting like a man, eating like a man, forgetting to talk formally. It has gotten her in trouble before. Jihae is known to be the nature lover of the group as well, caring a lot about plants and animals and planet earth, and that made her very outdoorsy as well. Jihae is a person with a strong will and strong beliefs as well, and that makes her narrow-minded, because she needs a lot of convincing to change her mind, even when she knows she's in the wrong, she won't admit it. Jihae, as oldest of the family, also grew up taking care of her siblings, and she's often seen as the dad of the group even though she's the second youngest, being overly protective over the people dear to her. If you ever hurt her siblings or groupmates, you're double dead because she'll haunt you.
background  Jihae was born as the first child, but three siblings were to come after her. Her parents were martial arts fanatics who met at the local taekwondo club. They had opened a school that teached all kinds of different martial arts to people at all ages, it was more like a dojo. Jihae was either at school, training along with the pupils at the dojo, or playing at the beach they lived next to. Jihae was originally going to take over the martial arts school when she grew up so she received lots of training so she could master multiple martial arts. She was originally planning to do it too, but when she met her best friend, that all changed. The best friend was all about music, the old kpop, super junior, tvxq, all that kind of stuff. He was a little cute fanboy, and he dragged Jihae along into the fandoms as well. Jihae in particular liked to dance along to the songs. It all started out innocent, but soon, it became a dream of hers, to make it as idol. She could take over the martial arts school when she retired and stepped out of the spotlight. Her best friend wanted to try it too, but he wasn't allowed by his parents. When Jihae's parents announced that they would move to Seoul to open a second martial arts school over there, Jihae had to leave her bestie behind. But this way, she was closer to her dreams. Her parents weren't against it at all. Jihae is a tough girl, she can take on a lot. But she had to wait until she graduated elementary school to go audition. So while she also took care of her little siblings (the youngest not born yet), training on martial arts and working hard in school, she also worked on her singing, rapping and dancing. She tried so hard to become decent without any lessons. In 2012, when Jihae graduated elementary school, she was more than ready to take on the trainee life and take it down with a headlock or roundhouse kick. She was ready to fight her way through and debut on the big stage. Since her idols were from SM entertainment, this company was her first try too. She first tried twice on her own, but she didn't get accepted. But she didn't give up that easily, and her third try was on an open audition, where they finally saw her charms and skills as well, and she got in. While training at SM, the two things she developed the best were her dancing and sense for variety. But she was actually quite good at singing and rapping as well. They knew that Jihae could become an all-rounder with some good training and experience, so when smrookies was introduced in 2013, Jihae was part of the first batch of trainees that got introduced, along with people like Irene, Jaehyun and Jeno. She was young, but since she was the oldest of the family and tough and strong, Jihae didn't seem that young at all. She showed potential, and fans couldn't wait until she could debut with the rest of the other girls. But the wait was long, and Jihae got worried and impatient. It was obvious that SM was going to debut the boys first. Jihae packed her bags in summer 2015. The NCT dream boys were sad to see their favourite tomboy go, but it was for the better. Jihae decided to join a company that appealed to her, starlight entertainment, and she became the main dancer and lead rapper of Pomme. But well, you know what happened there. Jihae was extremely pissed, and she wanted to kick the CEO into jail. Also, while she was away from SM entertainment, her heart shifted to another group, to the big disappointment of the NCT boys. Damn you Bigflo, damn you!
hobby(ies)
- martial arts, she especially knows a lot of Karate, Judo, Taekwondo and Kendo
- pretty much any sport she can practice
- cooking, she can't cook as well as Keiko but she has done it a lot for her siblings.

specialty(ies)
- martial arts tricks (Byun Hyunmin's female equivalent?)
- terrifying people by almost kicking them in the face but actually barely missing them on purpose, it's great on variety shows, and 90% of the times she picks Hyebin as victim, who almost pees her pants every single time
- concepts, she is the most versatile of the group

comments  Jihae has three younger siblings who she takes care of, 15-years old Jihoon who's a boy in his puberty, 9-years old Jia, who wants to be like her big sister, and 5-years okd Jihyun, who awakened Jihae's motherly instincts. She's like a mother already even though she's so young. NCT are basically her bodyguards she doesn't actually need, and they support her on the show. She's stronger than most of the boys and gets along the best with Haechan, Jeno, taeil, Kun, Jisung and ex-member Ji Hansol who's now in UNB and Newkidd. She is a huuuge fan of Bigflo, literally, she talks about Bigflo every time, and she hopes that Hansol will introduce her to Bigflo once. Her bias is Lex, and she inspired her future stagename Lexy on his name. Her color in Pomme is yellow, and in the audition (which she suggested doing NCT dream for), she took on the role of Jisung. And oh boy, the kid was proud when he saw Jihae do his parts.

scene requests
- Jihae being the strong tomboy she is and intimidating other participants
- Jihae unleashing her motherly instincts over the youngest kids of the show
- Jihae missing her little baby siblings
- Jihae freaking out over Bigflo.

great doom is brought upon us as bang, thal and blossom leave skt. I wonder what Junhee and Keiko are going to do now. Score and Kuro will possibly leave their teams too.
