personality When you know Choa, you know that she's a born leader. First of all, she's mature for her age, protective of those dear to her and very caring, always trying to take care of everyone, no matter what age they are. She'd even take care of people way older than her if they need it. She's also very hard-working, trying to always do her best to get better results and sacrificing her free time tp give others time to relax. She's just someone who tends to put others before herself, and it sometimes even messes with her health. But when people tell her she needs to calm the down and relax for a bit, Choa refuses, because she's really stubborn. No one can take anything of her, as she is very possessive as well, keeping her baby ducklings to herself. She'll have a hard time seeing her members being in someone else's team, but it's for the best. She's also worried about herself, her future and her baby ducklings. Choa is the type to worry about the smallest things, thinking of doom any time of the day and just be anxious and insecure about anything and everything. She just wants the best for her babies, and she'll worry the moment they're alone without her. Baby ducklings are lost without their mama duck, so the mama duck wants to be with them 24/7.
background Choa was born in a moderately wealthy family of people who loved music. Her parents teached her how to be a good person, because they wanted to bring up a child that could be an example for others. They also teached her music, and Choa grew up following vocal lessons and also playing the clarinet. Instead of going into the classical field, Choa wanted to go become idol. She joined DSP media in 2012, training there, waiting for an opportunity. DSP put her in Produce 101 season 1 in 2016, and she finished at #16. But DSP didn't give her a chance, and her trainee contract ended not long after produce. She left them and went looking for another company. Then she found a company that scouted her, and it was a small one, Starlight entertainment. She immediately got thrown into a predebut group with 5 other girls, who desperately needed a leader. Their debut was announced in spring 2017, but it got postponed for unknown reasons. In fall 2017, the announcement came again, that Pomme was going to debut. Fans were hyped, but it got postponed yet again. It turned out that the CEO was corrupt, and he ran off with all the money Pomme and the members made with predebut activities. They had to look for a new company but no one accepted them, until one of the members got the news from her big brother that his CEO was ready to take them under his wings. A telecom company? How would they deal with idols? The CEO from KT corp wanted to extend to the idol branch for a while already, after extending to esports years ago, but they had no experience at all. To prepare both the company and the girls for their debut, the CEO sent them to The Next Generation.
