If there was one word that would describe Won Yuheon, it would be charismatic. She exudes joy once she walks into a room, and there's a certain aura of her that draws people towards her, gaining trust in her almost immediately with her confidence. With this, she is someone who you can spill your heart and soul to, she'll listen and support you attentively without a doubt. Many people would also describe Yuheon as an desirous person. Once she actually opens up to you, there is no going back; she is almost like a Pandora's box in a sense. Despite being an introvert, Yuheon gets her energy and charisma from other people to match their energy and confidence. She is always ready to learn and try new things. BACKGROUND

Won Yuheon was born on October 15th, 1999 in the capital of Vietnam; Hanoi. Her parents are Won Ilseong and Kim Youngja. Yuheon has a older brother who is 7 years older, Won Donggeun and a younger sister who is 8 years younger, Won Areum. 4 years before Yuheon was born, the family made the move from South Korea to Vietnam due to Ilseong's job transfer as a business consultant. The Won family settled in a middle class area in the capital, which they remain there today.
For as long as she could remember, dancing and music has always been a part of Yuheon's life. At the age of five, her parents signed her up for a dance class, where she took great interest in the class. Yuheon's dance class would often enroll in competitions in the city, where they would always be placed in the top three.
As Yuheon is Korean, her family grew up in a bilingual household, mixing Vietnamese and Korean cultures. She learned about K-POP through watching music videos and listening to her mother's old albums, either following the choreography shown in the videos or even making up her own, she very much enjoyed K-POP.
When Yuheon was 14 years old, her dance class had a performance in Hanoi. It wasn't really a special performance or anything, but her class was informed that they would be scouts at the performance. After the performance, someone who claimed to be a representative of JYP Entertainment came up to Yuheon and asked her for a private audition in a couple of weeks.
Yuheon was confused with this because she thought that the scouts would be for some sort of dance academy, not actually scouting for potential idols. Nevertheless, Yuheon agreed to this with her parents' permission and support. She passed the audition, moving to South Korea to become a trainee at JYP Entertainment.
In this era of her teenage life, Yuheon was still figuring herself out. Soon enough she realized that she liked girls, and one of the first people she told was her trainee friend, Zhao Jiayi. Jiayi also confessed to Yuheon that she was biual, so the two naturally started to casually date. The relationship didn't last long as training heavily got in the way.
There were rumors of a girl group in the works, and the two were very excited about potentially debuting together. The lineup was announced and Jiayi was going to debut in a group called 6MIX along with five other trainees. As a result, Yuheon and Jiayi decided to end things due to the chance of being exposed and outed. Despite the fact that 6MIX ended up disbanding before their debut, Yuheon left JYP as she didn't want to wait for years just to not possibly not debut again.
A dancer trainer at JYP suggested to Yuheon that she could join Pledis Entertainment instead. Yuheon took this offer and auditioned to the company and passed, becoming a Pledis trainee in early 2015. In late 2015, Yuheon was chosen to be in a pre debut girl group, Sixteen.

PERSONA Soaring Phoenix ︰ Yuheon's persona is honestly not something she thought about much, so she gives all the credit to Chan. He was saying something along the lines about making history because that's a consistent thing for him nowadays. Her stage name was supposed to be Phoenix, but Pledis ended up choosing Quyen instead, so that's where the phoenix part comes from. She rarely does anything pertaining to her persona.

TRAINEE YEARS 1½ Years at JYP Entertainment, 2½ Years at Pledis Entertainment ︰ 9 Months at Pledis Entertainment prior to 16TV.
　≁ Yuheon's time training at JYP Entertainment wasn't that special in her eyes. She was just a normal trainee, trying to make her debut just like every other trainee. The competition was at an all time high as JYP was a well known company, but Yuheon didn't really stand out amongst the crowd. Sure she was good at dancing and decent at singing and rapping, but so was the majority of the other trainees. When JYP started to begin the process of debuting a girl group, 6MIX, both Yuheon and Jiayi was highly considered to be put in the new group, but in the end only Jiayi made it into the final lineup while Yuheon's spot was given to another trainee. After the lineup was finalized, Yuheon ended up leaving JYP just before 6MIX disbanded pre-debut.
After leaving the company, Yuheon found herself loving South Korea and didn't want to return to Vietnam just yet. She asked her parents if she could stay in Korea and possibly continue to train, and they said yes. Yuheon turned to JYP's trainers for advice on what to do next in her trainee career, and one of them scheduled a private audition for her at Pledis Entertainment, as the trainer told her that Pledis was planning some girl group projects in the near future. Yuheon gladly agreed and got into Pledis Entertainment a couple months later.
Upon arriving at Pledis, Yuheon could immediately feel a different atmosphere than at JYP. It was a good feeling though, everyone seemed less intense and the competition was more laidback. There were already talks about the company debuting two girl groups in the near future, and while she was anticipating debuting in the first group, the company put her in the lineup for the second girl group; Sixteen, mainly because she was a newer trainee. If you watch 16TV, you wouldn't think that Yuheon was the same person when the stream first started. She was really shy and reserved, but as time progressed Yuheon was able to show herself more and by the end of 16TV, she became more open to the public, her members, and herself.

PREDEBUT
　≁ GOT7 "Stop Stop It" MV ︰ Somehow, Yuheon was chosen to be the female lead in Got7's newest music video. Having no experience in acting before, she was very awkward during the shooting of it, as you could see if you watch the behind the scenes. Yuheon hasn't watched it since it came out and rarely talks about her appearance due to embarrassment. It was the first and last public activity she did as a JYP trainee before terminating her contract.︰ 2014.
　≁ 16TV ︰ As mentioned briefly before, Yuheon expected to be put in the first female training group of Pledis, Pledis Girlz. However she quickly realized that that was not the case as there were already so many other girls considered as members of the group. So, Yuheon got stuck with Sixteen.
Yuheon adapted to her new surroundings pretty quickly. That's not to say that she wasn't fully herself while in front of the camera. Even though she had been media trained before, Yuheon was still shy as a mouse. It took some time for her to get more and more outgoing, thanks to the support of her fellow trainees. By the end of the program, Yuheon was able to show off her charismatic personality more, but it wasn't in full effect, she still displayed some more signs of her introvertedness that would carry on into her debut.
Anyways, since Yuheon has been dancing since she could walk, it was a no-brainer that she would be put into some sort of dance unit. She and the other dance focused trainees took charge in helping the other girls out with the choreography. So by the end of 16TV and preparing for Sixteen's debut, Yuheon was promoted to the team's co-choreographer and main dancer. ︰ 2016-2018.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES
　≁ Dancing Quyen ︰ Something similar to Chan's Danceology, Yuheon would film dance covers and some vlogs that she would upload on Sixteen's YouTube channel monthly.︰ 2018-20XX.
　≁ Solo Songs︰ Not necessarily a solo debut, but the girls of Sixteen wanted Yuheon to showcase her skills independently, so they convinced both Yuheon and Pledis to let her release a cough of solo songs. HEADLINES
　≁ Who is the "Stop Stop It" Girl, and Where is She? + "Stop Stop It" Girl Found! ︰ One of the main reasons as to why Yuheon appeared in "Stop Stop It" was for the fans to get excited for JYP's upcoming survival show, SIXTEEN. However, Yuheon left the company before they could start choosing trainees for the show.
Since the other contestants have been featured in their labelmates' music videos, fans had thought that Yuheon would become a SIXTEEN contestant as well. When the contestant list came out, people assumed that Yuheon had become just another trainee left in the dungeon.
That’s why many people were surprised when Yuheon became a Pledis trainee and appeared on 16TV. Nowadays, fans of both Twice and Sixteen joke that Yuheon did end up on SIXTEEN, but just Pledis' version of it.︰ 2014-2016.

SCANDALS
　≁ Fans Demand for Better Treatment towards Sixteen's Quyen ︰ After some fantaken photos of Yuheon were uploaded to the internet, fans noticed an extreme amount of bandaids across her body. They expressed to Pledis that the company should treat Yuheon better and that they were overworking her. Pledis denied the mistreatment of Yuheon, and nothing came out of the situation for a while.
After speaking with Yuheon, she expressed that her habit of picking at her skin was becoming more frequent as Sixteen's schedules were piling up. It was announced that Yuheon was diagnosed with dermatilliomania and was on an unofficial hiatus for a couple weeks for treatment. ︰ 202X.

FIRST MEETING Yuheon and Chan has had run ins with each other in the Pledis building before, the two had not actually met before; until a few months before they were aware of the mentorship.
Yuheon was in one of the practice rooms, practicing creating choreography. Due to the loud music, it caught Chan's attention, as he was near the practice room. After Yuheon was done with her session, she was greeted by her senior at the practice room door. There, they properly greeted each other and talked a little bit about their music interests.
Although Yuheon didn't really care which Seventeen member was her mentor, but she was grateful that Chan was going to be her mentor as she was familiar with him a little bit more than the other members.
INTERACTIONS Though different in many ways, people say they work well together. It took some time to actually get into the groove of things due to the fact that Yuheon could get stubborn at times, but both Yuheon and Chan learned to be patient with one another. By the end of the show, the two would describe their relationship as a sibling-like relationship.

TRIVIA
　≁ Pretty quickly after getting familiar with each other, Chan asked her if they could drop the formalities since they are the same age.
　≁ They went to the same high school, Seoul Broadcasting High School and was in a few classes with each other, but they don't consider that the first time properly meeting.

HISTORY Ahreum and Yuheon's friendship started out like any other friendship within the trainee world. It was a month before the airing of 16TV where Ahreum just started out training. Her dancing skills were not the best, so the company decided it would be best to have help from the dance focused trainees whenever the main dance instructor was not available. And of course, Ahreum got assigned to Yuheon's faux dance class.
Back then, Yuheon was not as authoritative or confident as she is now, so it was safe to say that she was hesitant on giving her fellow trainees advice to improve their performance. But, she is now glad that she took the company's suggestion, as she wouldn't have felt the same way about Ahreum as she did right now. Through the duration of 16TV, Ahreum started to seek out Yuheon for one on one impromptu dance lessons. And within those lessons, the pair slowly began to get closer to one another.
Ahreum admits that she had been interested in Yuheon fairly early on in 16TV, but she never acted upon her feelings. There were times when Ahreum would ask Yuheon for help after hours, and even though Yuheon desperately wanted to be back in the dorms and rest, she didn't hesitate to say yes to the older girl. Yuheon's infatuation with Ahreum took longer than she realized. It happened in the beginning of Sixteen Wishes to Debut! where the girls were off practicing choreography that their mentors gave them. Yuheon picked up the choreography pretty quickly, whereas Ahreum had more trouble, so naturally she asked Yuheon for help.
Yuheon didn't know what changed this time around, it was just like any other of their sessions. Yuheon could only describe it as the romantic part of her brain being woken up after a deep sleep. But after this particular moment, she started noticing Ahreum in a different way than before and slowly began to develop feelings for the other female.
Because Yuheon would rather perish into the void than confront her feelings she never did anything about it. Instead, Yuheon went on a couple dates with various people set up by her friends — all of which ultimately left to being dead ends because Yuheon couldn't help but compare the women she went on dates with to Ahreum.
Regardless, both of them can't seem to come to terms that they actually like each other, resulting in both Ahreum and Yuheon admiring each other from afar, waiting for the other to impatiently make the first move.

TRIVIA
　♮ Since Ahreum shares the same name as Yuheon's little sister, Yuheon usually calls her Diễm, the Vietnamese name for beautiful.
　♮ One of the reasons as to why Yuheon didn't do anything about her crush was because she was afraid that it would end like her last relationship did. Only this time, they would have to see each other every day.
　♮ Majority of their dates are just spending time at home. Yuheon would usuallly cook something special for Ahreum, followed by a movie night.
　♮ Even before they get together, Ahreum is one of the few members who Yuheon is comfortable doing skinship with frequently, with the others being Tsuki, Vivian, and Minseo.
