We were just playing around listening to music in my room like we usually do

 

The song changed and we both quieted down realizing how awkward and tense the room was getting

 

I gave you an awkward smile and you returned it.

 

I stood up to change the song but you grabbed my hand.

 

I looked back at you with a questioning look and you pulled me into your lap.

 

Flustered.

 

I couldn’t read your face with heat rising to my cheeks

 

You wrapped your arms around my waist.

 

Let the song play, you said.

 

We stared into each other not even thinking of breaking eye contact.

 

You slowly pull my waist in and I start to lean into you myself

 

Our glances started moving from our eyes to our lips.

 

Finally touching we fall together onto the bed with me on top.

 

Both equally absorbed and both equally wanting this to last forever.

 

Your warmth filled my body, we were kissing. Actually kissing.

 

Your hands softly massaged my waist as I continued to caress your jaw
