Read this before you ask me for Karma donations
Okay, yes, I do have a lot of karma to spare but no, that does not mean I want to give it to you.
Here's why:
1. Define Karma: the cosmic principle according to which each person is rewarded or punished in according to that person's deeds, according to dictionary.com.
Key words: that ious deeds.
What have you done to deserve these Karma points? If you can give me a good answer, I will give you points. Do not just ask me for points - tell me why you think I should give them to you.
2. Everyone started off with a new account at some point. You earn karma by commenting on stories, writing stories, or by buying points and funding the app project.
If everyone else can earn Karma patiently this way, why can't you? Yes, that does mean it takes time to gather a lot of points - patience is a virtue.
Please know that I am not attacking anyone in particular. I get a large number of messages in my inbox asking for karma points and I always have the same reply: you should earn the points yourself. It's fairly frustrating when strangers whom you have never even talked to you before just ask you for karma points.
Here, then, are times when I WILL give karma points:
1. Winning the writing contest that chibi and I host (and will be bringing back)
2. Check to see if I am subbed to one of your stories. This might seem kinda weird but I would totally be up for giving karma points for more updates most of the time.
3. Tell me why you think you deserve the points.
I look down on people who resort to begging when they have the ability to earn their own keep.
