~ Her eyes are said to light when she dances and sings; her two passions in life. Daehye is a perfectionist and trys her absolute hardest to please others around her, ignited by her slight workaholic(ness) trait, often practising until she is exhausted.
~ Stubborn, she doesn't like to change her mind a lot, unless there is valid and reasonable answears and explainations behind it.
~ Values precision and precise movements, lines and in her case notes when she is singing. She always makes sure that she trys her hardest to get there and doesn't mind doing the same thing over and over until she gets it, which is annoying if she singing because who wants to hear the same line again and again on repeat?

~ She is also very blunt, doesn't like beating about the bush or sugarcoating things, particularly to friends and family, but she always means well. She isn't dumb, and knows what people mean, she knows when something is wrong, but won't do anything unless she knows she has to do something, or feels that it could harm the people she is closest to. Doesn't let people walk over her, but often trys to help them with their goals and what they want to do as long as it isn't harming others or themselves. She particularly excells on variety and talk shows. She's good at listening and knows when to shut up. Takes out any faults, hers or otherwise, on herself. She believes that it was her that caused it and always want to improve.
~ She is nice and outging when you meet her, but she is very excitable and energetic. However she always puts other first and makes sure they have what they need before doing what she has to. Very charismatic, however can get pretty embarrassed and awkward at times. Very affectionate, loves skinship, but is mature about it (mostly).

— better a life full of childish dreams than a dreamless life

Grew up with her grandmother and mother. Her father worked away a lot as a child, mostly on international business trips and vacations, meaning her wasn't there a whole lot to watch her grow up. She was a fairly smart child and achieved moderately good grades, but preferred art and anything to do with the entertainent industry, taking contemprorary dance and rhythmic gymnastics  from age of 4 until she turned 11. They were the start of her ever growing appreciation and love of art and sport, particularly combined into one thing. She often broke toes or sprained ankles and wrists because of her hobbies, but it never deterred her, her mother often saying 'that's definitely her father. all work, stubborn and always pushing until the very end.'

She was a outgoing child from the beginning and made a lot of friends during school, though she doesn't talk to many now, choosing to keep just a few close friends over having thousands of distanced ones. Her personality and aura is often said to be the first thing to pull people into meeting her, talking and greeting her, right from the minute she could blink, basically. Pretty average childhood, her parents never really spoiling her or allowing her a lot of free time and time to do nothing, making sure she did a lot of sports or socialising hoping she would find a path to follow in life so she would be able to take care of herself and make sure she was independent. However she was vry and still is very attached to her two maternal figures in life, her mother and grandmother, whom raised her with discipline and a lot of love, making sure she knew she wold always have somewhere to come back to when she left the 'nest'.

Daehye began her training at YG at 14, after she auditioned for fun with a friend at that time, Park Min Ji, whom wasn't accepted, but encouraged Dae with a slight bitter taste in from being rejected and seeing the one person she took as a joke succeed. They distanced a few weeks after that and don't speak much these days, though Dae has long forgiven her for being angry that she got in.

When she grew up she saw her father every couple of months when he'd come back home to their house after some sort of important business trip for madatory relaxation time, though because she wasn't close to him it was a relationship she didn't miss a lot because she had so much more support from her grandmother and mother, though she still held a place in her heart for the man, though didn't cry or feel to much everytime he left again.

When she turned 7, her family relocated back to South Korea from Singapore to try and see her father more, however he was still absorbed with his work and didn't do the father-daughter bonding that they had come for. However Daehye never got to feel a tight bond with him meaning that she wasn't hurt as much as someone who grew up close to/knowing their father, so she was okay, and almost could understand why he went to work so much, he liked to do it and no one can hate some one for following what they wanted to do. She attended the Korea International School until she graduated and trained at YG full time.

personality — Sweet and adorable, though he tries to act manly, he tends to just revert back to being cute. Very y, but innocent and modest. Shy and tender-hearted, he still gets nervous on camera, and still naive from being in the industry at a young age. He's slightly God orientated, and definitely family orientated. Little bit awkward, sometimes says the worng things here and there, but they're pretty innocent. Little bit snarky and sassy, but he's usually pretty good and only does it when there is an obvious opening for sassy in someones words.
