Dahyun is considered to be rather tall (169cm) for a female korean idol, but is still underweight (47kg) like most idols, and the growing trend for Korean women to their ideal weight beginning with a '4'. She is not ultra pale, but sitting somewhere in the middle, with a slight healthy glow to her skin colour, but does occasionally sport a bruise or two from dance practice. Her hair has been grown out to rest at bra strap height and is naturally a dark brown colour, but is dyed to a much lighter brown currently. Doesn't care what colours she wears, but her closet is made up of pretty neutral colors like black, white and blues. Her style is pretty much little effort equals fashionable, very minimalistic, so she wears anything paired with different types of jackets and accessories. She doesn't have a preference for shoes, she likes her collection of loafers and flat shoes as much as she likes her collection of heels. As for her makeup, Dahyun normally only wears BB cream, with some liquid liner and lip tint when she goes out, so be prepared for her to be bare-faced at the dorm when she doesn't have to go out, no one is coming over and the cameras aren't around.

Dahyun is what people would describe an 'alpha' female, so she can seem to be rather intimidating to others around her when she is angry, unhappy or bored. She seems to have an aura of strength and power. But its not all too bad, most people say that its a little overwhelming and intimidating when you first meet her, but as you get close to Dahyun it becomes sort of like a comfort and protection. Then thats when people know she is definitely a nice, comforting teddy bear, but watch out if you anger her, she'll strike.

She likes to be in control, and defintely get what she wants whenever she wants. Dahyun has a tendancy to get what she wants,  but when thats not always the case, she'll seem a little put off and unhappy. But it's not often she'll put on a full temper tantrum and turn into a child to get it, she'll put it to the side and cool off, though she'll be unhappy about it. Dahyun is the product of her fathers spoiling, so she is someone who has trouble containing the need to indulge herself and doesn't see the end of it. Her wants and wishes are sometimes pretty normal, but she does occasionally just thinks of things she wants and try to act on a whim, she is very unpredictable about them. But she isn't unstoppable, she can be talked out of things that are idiotic.

Definitely knows how to convey her feelings well to other people, but yet remain subtle about it. She isn't afraid to express how she feels to other people, and likes to make sure there is a mutual understanding of everyone's feelings. But don't take it like she can't keep a secret, or doesn't know when to stop talking. She'll shut up if she needs to, she knows when to be cautious and listens to her gut feeling when she shouldn't be trusting someone.  Dahyun is someone you'd trust a secret to, and she'd keep it to the grave. She's very open with anything, and does try to encourage people to speak how they'd like, esspecially to promote harmony and peace in the dorm and group.

But Dahyun isn't always spoilt and domineering, she is generally rather lively, 4D and laidback about things. If it doesn't involve her, then she probably won't or will actively try not to be involved. She likes to charm people though with her charisma, making friends is a hobby and so she just trys to use her natural ability to be charismatic to the best of its ability. Thats one of the best parts about her, she doesn't mind a lot of things, and if it doesn't effect her then go right ahead. Dahyun doesn't see it her business to intervene if it is not her business or concerning her in general (though somehow her lover always is part of her business and so will be in the middle of that).

Though while she is very laidback most of the time, there are things to really get her going. She is driven by sensuality, she likes it even if she is picky about whom and who it concerns and doesn't actively make a show of it. She likes skinship, touching is okay and almost conforting with the right people. She doesn't actively seek out intimate relations, and has to build up a deep emotional bond with someone before she even goes near that boundary.

Stage Persona/On Stage Personality:

When Dahyun talks, she is polite and has a very strong sort of charisma always lacing her voice. While she may say things how they are normally, here she tends to just shut up about them. So she knows what should be kept quiet (big secrets and personal things) and what she is able to speak leisurably about, and doesn't mind embarrassing the members at times. She is considered to be rather lively and 4D with the fans, and does seem happy.

Dahyun also has a strong stage presence, so she definitely looks like she belongs up there next to the rest of the group and admittingly does like to up there in front of that crowd where they know who she is and love her for being her. First impressions of Dahyun on stage is slightly different to how people react to her in real life. As an idol she usually has to keep a smile on her face, so she rarely looks angry or unhappy, and isn't nearly as intimidating as she usually is. Though one things she can't get rid of is her aura and so she does seem like one of the strongest people.

She also likes to give back to the fans, whether that means making a 'shipped' couple have more skinship or just take photos of people biases, just little things that she knows the fans will like. She is polite generally, but is otherwise very lively so that everyhting keeps on flowing so that the group only shows the good side to the world, making sure they become popular like their sunbaes.

coffee : her grandmother owned a coffee store, so she grew to love the smell and taste as it reminded her of her grandmother. doesn't mind how she drinks it.

background:

She was born in Singapore originally, where she grew up for most of her childhood. It was easy for her to become independent on her own, and her parent trusted her due to how safe they though the country was. Her life was basically revolved around what her mother wanted her to do (ballet, study, piano) and so she led a very ordinary life, though faced a lot of pressure to well from her mother, whereas her father just tried to put her at ease and help her.
Her father doted upon her especially when he was home and not working, constantly providing her with all the luxuries in life, granting whims and wants freely. However her mother was a little stricter, she was still working with the art gallery and did a lot of art history teaching on the side, made sure that Dahyun had to earn anything from her. Her mother constantly made sure that Dahyun did the best she could in everything, conversed and talked a lot about how she could improve her baby girls education.

As a baby, she was said to be very loud and much to every parents displeasure, a child that found it hard to go to sleep. Though she was fairly easily pleased anywhere else but when she needed to go to sleep. Growing up she slowly grew out of that, found it easier to sleep and rapidly started to grow both mentally and physically. When she was three, she could walk and talk, constantly playing and having fun. Dahyun was a cute child, who liked to laugh and have the attention of her parents. 

At the age of 5 (1999), Dahyun's mother, Taeji, enrolled her daughter into ballet classes. Dahyun naturally didn't have too much of a choice, but as a child was eager to attend them and make friends. She was rather outgoing as a child, she wasn't afraid of speaking and didn't really care who she spoke to. But as time progressed, ballet became more of a chore she kept up for her mother. The once magically classes that made her seem like she could float and was a magical fairy princess turned into grueling hours of pain, torture and hardwork. Her teacher, Ms. Smith, was ruthless on how she taught them. She would overwork and push them to their limits, broken toes, sprained ankles, toes or feet, fractured bones didn't stop her. Sore or bruised toes didn't matter to Ms. Smith and wouldn't allow you to sit out or skip a lesson because of these, she only looked for perfection in motion and so became a person of misery in Dahyun's life.
However at the age of 8, she rediscovered a sort of love-hate relationship with the art when she was cast as a main ballerina in small ballet performance. That's when she started to fully focus on the sport, and gave her a new enthusiasm. At 14 (2008) she got her first full length performance as Clara in the Nutcracker, however after that she exited the dance as the result of rebreaking her toes days after the final performance.

During the time between the ages of 6-15 (9 years), she started studying piano under the direction of her mother. This time instead of loathing the activity for years, she grew to love it and develop a passion for playing the piano. She liked to do that, and would use any chance alone to practise and just mess around with the keys, creating random pieces. Her childhood/teen friend, and a male ballerina, Hayden Spencer, found out about her messing around on the keys and gifted her with her first ever music book to write down things like which notes work well together, and little compositions. Dahyun, whom later developed the habit of writing down what she played, eventually did it so often and enjoyed it that it became a hobby for her that she has been at ever since she was a child.

Growing up Dahyun was quite close to her grandmother, even if she lived several thousand miles away in a different country usually when she wasn't visiting the family in SIngapore. Grandma Ah was her fathers mother, and she was as every bit kind as her son was, though slightly stricter. She gave her a second name, her very first nickname with a meaning behind it and taught her to love and appriciate the art of good coffee (though just the smell, she was a tad too young to like the stuff yet.) Grandma Ah never yelled at Dahyun, often offering to take her over the holidays to Korea, though that was only followed through a few times, and her parents always accompanied her. She'd spend her time over there with her grandma in her garden, or in the coffee shop she owned so it always contained fond memories for her. However when Dahyun was 7, Grandma Ah passed away at the age of 61 due to heart complications. This is where she then spent some time grieving, and wasn't permitted to attend the funeral, her father being the one to attend while she was left at home. Everything of her grandmothers was sold but a few possessions and so Dahyun has always resented her parents slightly because they never allowed her to say her last goodbyes to the woman who never stressed her out and often was the source of much relaxation and good company.

When Dahyun was 15 and a half (2009), her family was relocated to South Korea where her father took the position of vice-chairman of the Seoul HQ of Samsung. They bought a house and now live in the city. It was a bit of a culture shock. Dahyun had visited the country a few times to visit her grandmother before she died, but she was rather young and so didn't really remember a whole lot of the culture so she had to get used to what was socially acceptable and what wasn't. It helped that she could speak Korean, her family only speaking that to her for most of her life, but it took her about half a year before she was completely comfortable about the country and didn't have to think about what would be right or wrong in these situations. Though she is a little prone to slipping into english when she gets overly frustrated.

She transferred from the International School Singapore to the Korea International School, where she then continued to focus on her studies, though she never really knew what she wanted to do in life. She made friends quickly, being a social magnet and so life was fairly normal. Later that year, she was invited to a karaoke group outing with some of her friends on a weekend and was scouted singing. She showed up at the auditions, despite it being against her parents wishes and auditioned gaining entry to the company after several stages of auditions.

Taeji is very strict, and was always the person pushing her through school and making sure she did the best, right to the point of going to teachers and asking for more work. Taeji is only like that when concerning her daughter, to anyone else she is very creative, happy and gentle with a huge passion for ballet and theatre. She is also okay with Dahyun liking girls, but is upset that she may not get grandchildren.

They had previously had a few meals together and talked a little bit, but they hadn't really gotten to know one another until they were introduced as members of the same group. They get along, and CM doesn't mind getting dragged along by Dahyun, whereas Dahyun doesn't mind doing things CM does in return.

Dahyun doesn't have a whole lot of friends, especially because she is often too busy training and doing things that they have just drifted apart. She knows people, but isn't close to them.

Baekhyun is described by people who know him as bright, bubbly and a little bit goofy. He doesn't take himself too seriously, leaving everyone to see that he is a pretty simple guy who likes fun and isn't self-concious about showing his dorky side and does use that to create the moods (hence the mood-maker title). He is confident and witty, cracking jokes, but sometimes goes too far with them and doesn't realise that it does hit a sensitive spot, being a little insensitive and immature. Some jokes get old fast, but he doesn't deliberately hurt people that he cares about and does accept jokes dished out on him later in return.

But beneath that he's pretty sensitive, and even considerate. He goes out of his way to buy things for s occasionally, and he still fights back tears when EXO wins something because he proud that even with such a small training period, both him and the rest of the group does so well and still wins things. He doesn't care about who you are, and probably would make friends with you, but beware if you hurt someone close to him because he'll be after you. He's sometimes not a whole lot polite, yes generally he is, but on the occasion his pride will stop that so there are accounts of him not bowing to winning groups when they are competing and winning against his own.

how'd they met:

They first met when Taeyeon had dragged her into SMent for practise on her day off and they bumped into Baekhyun who was also there for practise in the hallway. He was pretty friendly, introduced himself, but continuously had eyes for the elder, with made Dahyun dislike him a bit.
They then proceeded to see each other around occasionally (usually months between each encounter) the entertainment company whenever she was there, and he was there for practise. But usually the only times she sees him is when she is with Taeyeon, so it does make her unhappy and therefore she doesn't see him a whole lot otherwise.

relationship status: acquaintances.
He doesn't know they are dating and so does flirt with her (Taeyeon), so Dahyun definitely doesn't like him for that. She doesn't really have a whole lot against the man, except for the fact he likes Taeyeon and she can't tell him to back off without raising eyebrows.

interactions: 

Originally first meeting because of Taeyeon, both aren't in the slightest close. Dahyun dislikes him because she is fully aware that he is attracted to the elder and flirts with her both around and not around Dahyun, which makes her wickedly jealous and always tries to move them away for him. She does glare at him discreetly, but really can't express her full unhappiness towards him with raising eyebrows.
They only really meet occasionally at the practise rooms, at concerts and events. Usually only briefly looking at one another and then moving on to whatever needs to be done.

Taeyeon can be described in one word: confusing. Called the other 'Kim Bipolar Sibling', she can often switch between moods quite quickly which makes it hard for people to read her. She is usually very honest about how she feels towards things, if she doesn't want to reveal things than she won't and will say that to people who try to pry into her personal life. But don't mistake her for being a , she is quite caring for others. She'll go out of her way to do little things for the others and seems to be the motherly guardian that watches over the group, even if she doesn't show it directly.

Taeyeon is easily startled by things, so it is on occasion used against her in harmless pranks, but otherwise is usually guarded by some of the member she is close with so that she doesn't overreact and hurt herself because of it. She's also downright sensitive and always feels the pain of hurtful words, even if she doesn't show it and it does have a big effect on her, right to the point of depression. She is stressed easily, so members of SNSD or close friends and family try and help her relief the pressure of all the constant watching and criticism that she receives as the leader.

how'd they met?:

Originally met through Dahyun's father, whom was invited to an event that had invited several hugely popular idols to it as well and brought her. That's where she first met Taeyeon and other members of various groups. They only really chatted briefly, but kept her company when she didn't really have a ton of people to talk to and wasn't trying to befriend the older executives and staff members.

Later that year she auditioned for SM, after being scouted singing karaoke with some friends. She gaining entrance to the entertainment giant and was a trainee for a short period of time before she remet Taeyeon again in the hallways of the building. This time Taeyeon did remember the taller girl and talked for a while, until both were whisked away to do other things.

They then keep bumping into each other, until they exchanged phone numbers and met up outside the company and just talked. They talked and met up until they were very close friends, emotionally and mentally forming a bond as they exchanged secrets and thoughts of their own. It was about then (February 2012) that Dahyun realised she liked Taeyeon more than a friend, but was hesitant to do anything about it for a while and so waited several months acting as a friend before she confessed.

relationship status: they are dating (so about 2, nearly 3 years (June 4, 2012)), but haven't been found out about. (because they can claim they are very close sister relationship instead)
Their parents know (both sets of parents generally accepting the relationship and they like their children's partner) as well as SNSD, because she goes around there a lot or Taeyeon goes to her home.

interactions:

Dahyun likes to spoil Taeyeon, even if it is not always materistically. Dahyun will cuddle and pepper kisses, show her with compliments, cook Taeyeon food, treat her like a princess generally when they are alone or in their dorm. The same applys for Taeyeon, who likes to spoil Dahyun in the same way.

They generally don't mind mild PDA (cuddling, sitting in each others laps, kissing/making out) in places where they know they aren't getting watched (like their dressing rooms, tinted cars, dorms, practise rooms ect.), but they do the 'friendly' hugs and holding hands in public if they are seen out with each other. Watch out if they are alone, near a bed... (*gonna leave it to the imagination*) Taeyeon is the shorter one, so that always means that Dahyun perfers being the bigger spoon and being the one sat on, but otherwise they aren't really fussy about anything else. Who lies down on the others legs? Doesn't matter ect.

They are even said (on shows when mentioned) that they do like to sing together when listening to the radio, sometimes off tune as well.

They see each other quite a bit compared to other celebrity couples, they can see each other at SMTOWN concerts, in the practise rooms and even at music shows. They don't mind each other appearing randomly to talk, but do try to keep it professional around other people and make sure that no one really finds out about them. (because South Korea, not too known for gay people and Taeyeon's a hugely popular idol). But when they have freetime and they can escape to see each other, they'll text and message the other to inform them and then work it out from there.

When they go out for dates, they don't mind holding hands on occasion and hugging even around fan because they won't really get suspicious, especially as they are both girls, fanservice and Taeyeon is apparently dating Baekhyun. (Which was made by the company to attract more attention, but ultimately backfired on them and made it easier for the pair (Dahyun and Taeyeon) to go out in public without anyone majorly questioning it.) 

Taeyeon's definitely the one that will take care of you, even if she won't say it to your face and will do it behind your back. Taeyeon also likes to be the more motherly, even tempered and rational one between them. But Dahyun's the one that will get over protective and jealous of people, she'll almost always be the one to really intiate anything and likes to make sure that the other is well catered for and looked after when around her. Dahyun doesn't mind when Taeyeon gets mad and yells, she'll put up with that (whipped), but if anyone else even slightly thinks of hurting her, or hurts her when she's not around Dahyun then she'll try and comfort Taeyeon and then make sure she isn't bothered again.

To say the least, it was very fast paced. In Dahyun's mind, she doesn't remember much of it apart from some vicious pulsing bruises, sore muscles and the occasional harsh lecture from the instructors. She knew most of the trainees, not personally mind you, but she knew their faces and they knew hers. Dahyun was solely in there so that she could train and debut in the quickest amount of time possible. She excelled in her field of vocals, but did just as well in rapping, having a natural rhythm for it.
But she disliked dancing, particularly not being fond of it after her experience with ballet. Broke her wrist once during her training period as a result it getting jammed into a door.
 

comments/suggestions: so i decided to just go with it and give Dahyun a female love interest, no reason what so ever. you can decide on the vocal talent twin, because i couldn't choose one as they all have different abilities (so your choice) and if you have any problems with the app please tell me~
