Lesson 3 - Practically the same vowels..

I'm really annoyed because I had everything typed up in excruciating detail because I had added extra but it wiped when I posted it.. I swear this device is going down the loo next time... Anyway, you didn't come her for my rants so I'll quickly write up what I was going to teach you anyway then I'll add the rest maybe later in the week.

So what you learn next is another set of vowels: 야,여,요,유.  These are pronounced exactly the same as 아,어,오 etc.. except there is a 'y' sound put in front of the sound, represented by the extra stick:

야 yah  (a word often used in dramas meaning 'hey!'. Pronounced exactly as it looks.)

여 yuh  (once again pronounced as it sounds, but make sure your mouth is open wider (vertically) than when you usually say it)

요 yo  (This one, when it is said sounds like a short, curt 'yo' in a slight accent but when you say it think more about saying your very short and sharply, like I'm one short outburst of air)

유 yoo  (like the rhyme of 'goo' or just pronounced 'yu/you' if you like. For those watching Running Man or Infinity Challenge, this is how you spell Jae Suk's last name, Yoo)

Some words with the new material:

아야 (ah yah) - ouch

우유 (euh yu) - milk

여자 (yuh jah) - woman (and I'm sure everyone knows nam jah - 남자 - is man right? But we'll leave that to later..)

요가  (yoh gah) - yoga (exactly the same as english since they didn't have they're own word for it)

Going to quickly post this before it deletes...
