Sato is very, very quiet. She doesnt like talking to people because it will make her break her concentration. She doesnt like talking to people because that just make more noise in her head. She has very few friends because she doesnt like interacting with people. She has bad people skills and is terrible at talking to crowds. She is very observant of things going on around her. She seems to be brillient, but that is just because she gets the answer from the mind of the people asking her.

Sato never really puts much thought into things she does. She just does them. Often when she does stupid things its so she can get away, but no one sees it that way. People see her as rude because she tries to ignore people and avoid groups. Her teachers hated her because she refused to work with people or participate in classes

Reciently, she has taken more to smiling and laughing often. She has gained more friends and has become a social butterfly. When she meets people she can judge if they are good people or not and she just doesnt hang out with the bad ones.

» Background

Sato’s parents are not mutants. Nor is her brothers. They just know she is different. From a young age she could hear other people thoughts. She thought it was normal, so she never brought it up. She thought she was just bad at dealing with it. She asked her older brother once, but when she heard his thoughts she knew they didn’t have it. She never said anything to anyone, besides him.

Things started getting really bad for her when she started to have to go to school. She could hear everyone in her classroom and anyone passing her in the halls. During elementary school she was miserable. She couldn’t do anything about it. Once she got to middle school she found out that music helped. If she had ear buds in and very loud music playing she almost could not hear other people’s thoughts. At home, she asked her parents if she could move up to the attic, further away from her sleeping family. When they agreed she started sleeping better.

In school, she started getting great grades. She was top of her class, aced everything and never even took notes. She didn’t need to. However, she had no friends. At lunch she ate by herself as far away from the other students as she could. She never wanted to work or sit with any one and when another student said something to her she could figure something out to say to them to make them leave her alone.

When she started high school, she met a boy. He was from Japan and she couldn’t hear his thoughts. She did everything she could to be around him as often as she could. Not only could she not hear his thoughts, but when he was around the roar lessened to a dull throb. He liked being around her too. Her freshman year was the best year of her life. The two grew close, but when the year was done he had to move back to Japan. When he left, Sato was ruined. Everyone thought it was because she loved him, but it was because he was the only peace she ever got.

That next year was the last year she spent with her family. Her parents started growing apart from each other and Sato could hear the thoughts they had for the other. They did everything they could to keep it from their kids, but they all but hated each other. It drove Sato even more insane. She started taking trips out of the city to be alone. She usually would just find a place and sit, but sometimes she would wander. One time on her wanderings she saw someone. They didn’t have any thoughts.

She tried to follow her, but she lost the woman in the trees. It took her hours to find her way back to the city, but when she got home she fell asleep with no issues. The next few days she skipped school and tried to find that woman again. It took her four days of searching to find her.

She was a woman named Sura and she was a mutant, just like Sato. Sura was telepath and was in enough control of her powers to keep other telepaths out. That is one of the first things she learned at a school called Gensis. Sura wanted to take Sato there, but it was up to her. The quiet around her was the only thing she needed to make her want to go.

Gensis School for the gifted was a home for mutants like Sato. They fed a story to her parents about a school for smart students then planted the idea in their heads not to come looking for her.

Sato adjusted to the school incredibly quick. She continued regular school and it took her two weeks to learn how to block people out. She started controlling her powers and was at the proper level for her age in a few months.

She didnt find out that she could mimic other people powers until she had a class with a mutant with a physical mutation. He could stretch his limbs like he was made out of putty. She raised her hand in class and slammed her hand into the ceiling.

Sato is a mind reader. Any thought anyone has will come into her mind. Its impossibly loud and she has very little control over it. She has managed to talk to her cat with her mind, but never anything stronger than a cat.

Also, Sato absorbs powers from mutants around her. She doesnt cancle them out or keep them for a while, but if she is in the presence of some one who can control fire then she could control fire. It fades soon after that mutant leaves. Also, if there anre many mutants, she gets all of their powers. Including the ones who have physical mutations. If she were to be around someone like Mystique, she would take on the original image of Mystique, not what ever face she had at the time.

Sato's hair is white. It has been since she was a little girl. The doctors say it was a birth defect, but the headmaster says its part of her mutation.
She is 177 cm tall and weighs 50 kgs. She has long arms and legs. Her hair is long and she refuses to cut it.
In the winter time, her skin is milky white, but once its summer her skin seems to attract all kinds of sun. She is a light tan spring to mid fall.

» how did you find out about your powers?

I've had them since forever. I literally can not remember a time when I didnt have other peoples thoughts in my head. I thought it was normal. I found out that I can use other peoples powers in class though. I had to go to the bathroom and was sitting next to this kid who could strech like none other. When I put my hand up it shot up and my fingers brushed the ceiling. Everyone looked up at my hand and I was so scared. The kid who could strech just laughed. Once I went out of the room it went back to normal

» why were you sent to genesis?

I wasnt exactly sent here. I was invited here and I'm glad I was. This place is my home now. There is nothing I could do to change that I'm here. I feel acepted and loved here and I can work on my powers.

» WHat do you think of the human race?

What do you mean? I'm a part of the human race. I guess they have their bad parts, but I think people are good, for the most part. There are some that are bad, but that is expected.
