APPEARANCE Louyang is 183 cm tall with sharp features and hair that is just a bit too long. His skin is darker than most royals because he likes spending time outside. His skin is soft and moisturized, its one of his obsessive habits, and he only has two scars; one on his index finger from his older brother and one in his hairline from the day of the assasination.
WARDROBE Louyang doesnt often think about his fashion, he has always had his clothing picked out for him. He does like dressing for the season, darker colors in the colder months and lighter colors in the warmer months. He doesnt often wear the crown jewels, he thinks their too flashy and feminin, while he has no issue with men being feminin, he just thinks his face and body is feminin enough. He does like his rings though, he always has at least a few on his fingers.

Over the years Louyang got a bit of a reputation as a playboy. He flitered endlessly with the ladies of the court and had a new summer fling every year. His mother was weary about it but did nothing to stop it because the oldest son was around to take the throne.
At age 17 an assasin made his way into the court. Twelve soldiers, six knights, three guards, the youngest daughter and the crown prince were killed before he was caught. Louyang was in hiding with many others when the assasin made his way to them. That was where he killed the guards and the youngest daughter. He was going for Louyang when his brother jumped in the way, he died in Louyang's arms. After that is when Louyang started avoiding fights. Everything there was a commotion all he thought about was his brother dying in his arms.
His parents sent him to a friend in Korea to hide him there. For the first few months he hardly spoke to anyone, mainly because he didnt know the language but once he started learning it he still didnt really want to talk to anyone.

THEIR STORY When it was announced that the prince was going to participate in that season, of course everyone immediatly tried to flock to him and introduce themselves but Sumin was not going to do so and she got her group to not either, if anything they were to ignore him. A few hours into the night they 'bumped' into eachother and Sumin acted totally suprised and played it off that she didnt realise he was the prince, but then over did it on 'oh your majesty' but in a playful tone. Louyang laughed about it and they started talking. Both her suiters watched and both were angry about it.
Over the next moth Louyang seemed to ignore almost everyone except Sumin, which made other suiters and ladies very upset. Things seemed to be like a fairy tail to Louyang though, Sumin was funny, intelegint and while she was a noble she still seemed so normal. It was perfect, too perfect though.
One night Sumin and Louyang were drinking, unchaperoned, and Sumin started talking about her parents and their desire to socially climb, regardless of the requirements. He stopped talking and just listened to her digging herself and her family a hole. She kept going on about that she was going to socially climb, she didnt care what she needed to do or who she had to manipulate, it was what she was good at. She had tons of suiters lined up for her, she could have her pick on the littler, who ever she picked should be honored that she picked him.
Louyang started thinking about everything they had done together, the things she had pciked out that they do together, often things to flaunt his wealth and status. Times when she pushed past people to make sure she was in the spotlight and pulled him along with her. When people tried to talk to him but they were intercepted. When they went to events and seemed to be surrounded by the same group of women the entire time.
He asked her who she wanted to marry and live with. Her answer is what caused him to leave. The only thing she wants in a marrage is someone with a higher status, the higher the better, it didnt matter who he was she wasnt going to love them, just his status. Him, being a prince, has one of the highest statuses.
Two days before this conversation Louyang publically shamed and dismissed Yating, telling her he found someone else he wanted to live with and he didnt want her. It was at Sumin's promt that he did that, just so he would be available for him.
She also insisted he not talk to andy of his social friends, only her and her friends. She just wanted to be around him and for him to like her friends that much. He hadn't talk to any of his family or friends in weeks.
Louyang left Sumin, got rid of all her gifts and belongings and tried to figureout how to patch things up with Yaiting.

APPEARANCE Grena is only 152 cm tall with pale and soft skin, dainty fingers and small frame. Her long brown hair is always kept up, out of her face but strands always end up falling in her face.
WARDROBE Grena isnt huge into fashion, most of her wardrobe is simple yet pretty dresses that are elegant and not flashy. If she has to do anything social her cousin will send her dresses and help her dress up and look nice. She doesnt like having to wear shoes, expecially when she is walking around outside in the grass.

Grena is a sweet, quiet person who does her best to be friends with everyone and she likes meeting new people but she finds it hard to connect with them. People she is close with, her family and staff for the most part, she is insainly loyal to. She would do almost anything for them, she doesnt want to lose more people she cares for. It doesnt matter what they ask for, if she can help them she will. She often is found outside, usually alone, in nature or with the animals on the grounds. She doesnt like gossip so she is a good person to talk to, she wont tall people your secrets. She is anti violence, anti anger or fighting

The mother was the youngest sister of the local duke so they all knew that if anything happened to them they would be protected so they had a comfortable life.

She had older siblings so she didnt have family expectations so she was free to do what ever she wanted to for the most part. She did have a marrage proposal when she was eleven, for years later of course, but her parents declined, respectfully. The man was spurned but he couldn't take Grena with out permission.
Just over a year later he came back but was still turned down. Some of the staff felt uncomfortable with him and tried to tell the Bak family about it but the parents insisted he was harmless and they were fine. Five months after the fire people came to his house to question him about it, one of which was one of the Bak's house maids. They stormed the house and found Grena but not Kwang-min. He was on the run for over a year before he tried to make contact with Grena again and eventually caught.
Grena, now an orphan, had no where to go besides to her uncles home in Seoul. She got her own rooms and two personal staff members but she didnt want to talk to anyone. No one knew about the new girl living in the Kim household, including the staff.
It took over a year before she started doing any social events with her family again, she had a cousin a few months older than her and Rina was the one insisting she start. She gave Grena clothes and taught her Seoul fashion so she would blend in with the people around her. Rumors started flying around about her now, that she was her uncles bastard daughter or that her aunt had an affair, worse yet that she was having an affair with her uncle. Eventually her uncle had to make a statement about everything. He spoke with Grena about it first but he told everyone that he was going to be adopting his neice after the tragic accident and she was officially a Kim now.
Grena never really got her small town life out of her veigns. She liked spending time in the gardens or walking by the shore, never far from her staff thought. She hardly had any interest in the social things other girls her age were. Eventually her cousin stopped inviting her to things and she stopped going out to things.
Grena's first social season her aunt insisted she go and experiance it. No one expected her to find a suiter but everyone she talked to thinks she should go so she did. Her cousin was thrilled but she wasn't as much. It wasn't horrible and she did meet a few people but she didnt have any interest in any of them. The season ended with her having a few new friends but no romantic interests.

THEIR STORY Grena found it easy to be around Louyang. He didn't have to pretend to be someone around her either so he found it easy to be with her. For that first month they talked all the time about random things like what book she was reading to how the weather was so differant in Korea than China. She didn't find out he was a prince until the first day of the social season. She was stunned, she was literally frozen in her spot when he was announced. She burped in front of him, she burped in front of the crown prince of China.
They didnt get to talk again until the next morning and Grena was mortified. She was stumbling over herself, trying to be as proper as possible and it just made Louyang laugh. The next few days was the only times she acted like that, Louyang told her to knock it off and act like herself again, he didnt like her trying to treat him like a royal. She felt releaved and they were able to go back to they used to be.
Through out the social season Grena watched Louyang from a distance and when they went home, in differant carrages of course, Louyang would go to Grena's room and tell her about everything that happened that night, usually with some wine involved. When he started talking more and more about Sumin Grena started feeling something she had never felt before, jealousy. She wasn't with Louyang and she didnt have any right to be jealous about him finding someone but he was the first person she had found a real connection with. She had to keep reminding herself not to get between him and Sumin but it was actually Sumin who got between her and Louyang.

POST SCRIPT Sorry if I went overboard, I just wanted to make a saucy, interesting social season from Louyang alone. You decide who he ends up with, Yating, Sumin, Grena or none of them.
Yaiting, pros: she knows how to act and how to help lead, she is who his parents want for him. Cons: they dont really vibe at all, she doesnt have much of a spine, she isn't very fun
Sumin, pros: she has connections everywhere, she knows how to handle social situations, she can charm anyone and is good under pressure. Cons: she is a social climber and thats all she wants, she is shallow and cares for herself only
Grena, pros: she fits the best with him, she is kind and social, she isnt dramatic, she understands how the flow of power works. Cons: she doesnt want to be the queen, she doesnt like the lime light, she is bad with confrontation
