So, here's the thing.

I'm not going to write anything long because I keep getting myself distracted just by typing his name since this morning.

Last year, in this post, I posted about him for the first time in AsianFanFics. I knew his name ever since his teaser came out and I became attracted to him immediately.

Maybe it's because of his eyes. Perhaps it's because of his dance. Or I guess it's just because I know he's a Chinese member and I found it's unique. Whatever the reason is, he pulled me to the group called EXO.

I won't call myself as an EXO-L, the fan of EXO. I do like EXO's songs but I don't think I'm a big fan of the group. I support them, of course, but selfishly enough, I only pay attention more to Baekhyun, my favorite in EXO-K, and, obviously, Luhan in EXO-M.

Therefore, just like other fans, I was in a complete shock when I read the breaking news about Luhan filing to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment.

Kris had left the group earlier this year and, even though I had heard about rumor of Luhan leaving as well, I tried to ignore it until an official news broke out.

It did today.

Kris' leaving is not celebrated by anyone. I even heard about the rest of the group felt disappointed with him and all. I chose to say nothing because, really, I don't know them personally and I don't know what's really going on behind the curtains.

I felt surprised by the news of Kris but...

...Luhan?

I read the possibilities of his reason to nullify the contract. I don't know if it's because of him feeling overworked or he wants to work at his hometown or else, but I'm going to believe the most simple reason I read on an article.

"After coming home this time, I think he felt that he saw his aging family members and wanted to be close to them."

And, please note that I don't know if it's true but, if health issue is also his reason, it's totally valid.

I always try to be objective, even when it comes to my favorite group, BEAST. Therefore whatever I write here is simply my opinion so feel free to disagree with me.

But for everyone who calls them traitor, especially in this case: Luhan, I really hope you're not trying to spark more wars over the internet. The entertainment world is complicated already so why don't we spread peace now?

I don't like reading how people say Kris was useless in EXO so his leave doesn't change anything.
I don't like to see people saying Luhan is a backstabber and labeling Chinese people is not valuable.
I don't like knowing that some netizens say something they don't even really know.

Maybe it's just me but, really, why can't we just live in a peaceful K-Pop fandom?

As for Luhan, it's so heart-wrenching when I read his post on Instagram this afternoon. So much that I felt like letting my tears to roll down.

One thing I want to say to him now : Welcome home, Luhan.
