FACE CLAIM ) han hye yeon (kite)
BACK UP FACE CLAIM ) sasyo
APPEARANCE ) Standing at a tiny 147.3 cm (4'10") and clocking in at mere 44.5 kg (98 lbs.), this girl could be seen more as an overgrown vengeful sprite without wings than actual human being with such a thin and lithe body that seems like it could snap at any moment. Everything about her seems small and sharp; from the way her ears seem to be slightly tapered (further adding to whole sprite image she has going on) to her tiny hands and feet, no one would ever expect to know that she has the blood type B - and the personality to match too. Like the obvious girl she has to be, both of her ears lobes are pierced, and unknown to most people, a tattoo - no, not a tramp stamp, but a tattoo on the back of her left shoulder.

PERSONALITY )
➳ keen, tumultous, cheeky, insolent, direct, sarcastic, ardent, egoistic, aggressive

"Treat me like a queen and I'll treat you like a king. Treat me like a game and I'll show you how it's played."
Say hello to the most sassiest pair of pants in town, who had the power to sass anyone out of their pants and/or . You don't want to see this sass? Then please don't get on her bad side. She might seem like the demon child of your dreams, but really - who wouldn't be when they're pissed? It's just that her special brand of sassy, Lee Minri style, tends to just slip out much more easier and faster - she's quite short-tempered and very eccentric. Anything that even touches her inflated balloon of an ego is going to get it - she's worked long and hard to get herself to this state and there's no way she is going to tolerate anything touching her. Just one prick and there's going to be a mindful of sass blowing into your face. So just keep that in mind and don't intrude into her personal bubble of mentality because she will make sure to sass you all the way to the moon without any hesitations - she's just as blunt and forward as a bulldozer.

"If you're going to be a smartass, you have to be smart. Or else you're just an ."
Along with that, she also has an extremely sarcastic sense of humor that is more keen and biting than the blade of a knife. Scary, huh? Don't worry, as long as one doesn't piss her off, she won't have any reason to really use it. She often regards her friends and family with a sharp and cynical view, and doesn't hesitate to make fun of anyone and everyone - even herself sometimes. But really, mostly her parents since who likes parents anyways? Why should they be friends? Not hers, especially. One thing that everyone should know about Minri if one wants to know her as a friend or a companion; she has probably one of the keenest and alert minds that are attuned to people. Where most people might just slip over and not notice a detail that could give away the body language of someone else, count on Minri knowing it. It's a bit uncanny at times to see her so intently in sync in how people are - so tread carefully with what sorts of words and actions are shown to her. She never forgets anything.

"Common sense is so rare these days, it should be classified as a superpower."
Talking about her mentality, she lives by the mantra of "living wholly, not half-heatedly". Which in more fitting terms for Minri is that she will give 101% percent at least to anything she sets her mind to - and don't expect her to stop until the task is complete or she's literally unable to do any more. Passionate is what she embodies and she will only do things all the way or not at all. Literally, giving all her 147.3 cm into something, which means that it's going to take a lot more than that to drag her out of something as soon as she has set her mind to it. If her stubbornness with a physical thing, it would probably need something a lot more than a tractor to pull her out as long as she has got her heels in and is balking to stick true to her points. Nothing is going to pull her out unless she is actually convinced enough (good luck with that) and has turned face willingly. Which most of the time means getting out of everything her parents want her to do, and doing the opposite of everything they expect her to do. Their type of lady is not her type of lady.

"In order for you to insult me, I would first have to value your opinion."
Considering the fact that she is so freaking obstinate at times that it's exasperating, what's frustrating to Minri is when she finds people who don't go all the way or just give up what they do without completing it. She just cannot understand them; they have all they could ever need to complete it except for one very key characteristic that Minri has in abundance - determination. One has to understand who she is; someone who has always been considered to be literally "smaller" and "lesser" than what her true potential is, and with such a strong spirit and mentality like hers, she is able to break through most mental barriers that most people wouldn't even dare to try. Being scoffed and laughed at for wanting (and being able) to do things that are unconventionally unlike who you are has turned Minri into a mini-warrior who will fight for what she wants to do and what is right - wild and rambunctious in her own way in how she tackles things head on. As long as she has at least someone supporting her, she is not a people's person and would rather not run with the crowd if they displease or pull her down, she only wants the best of those who can stick by her and be able to do her own things the way she wants to.

"Life is full of disappointments and I just added you to that list."
However, this makes it so that Minri is more or less blinded to the world around her, selfish in a very special way. She expects everyone to be like her and doesn't seem to have the capacity to empathize with people who are not like her - people who do not have such a tremendous ambition like how she is. Like most of the other girls, they usually do not have the mentality to go against what other people say, and Minri has seen it too many times. Girls who fall into terrible marriages, girls who bow down to their parents and husbands, to lead terrible and unhappy lives. Because of so, it is difficult for her to open up to people since most don't fit her standards at times. Being let down and having so many people she trusted in fail at what she expected of them has made it so that Minri is just as snappy and judgmental as a crab - she won't hesitate to pinch someone to see if they are truly what they claim to be. If not, then screw them. Worth to her is measured in success and the rewards that one gets, nothing else. Even though she might not say it, but her attitude is very much of "if you can't compare to me, you're a peasant." It's harsh, but to her, it is an extremely fair system in th way that she doesn't get pulled down by people who can't work for themselves the way she has always done.

"We are best friends. Always remember that if you fall, I will pick you up. After I finish laughing."
Become her friend by proving your worth to hold yourself to her expectations and this girl's trust will never be broken. It can be said that if you manage to impress or awe her, the respect that she'll give out is something that you'll find little where else. Minri is a true friend and a deeply loyal one to those who have earned her friendship, someone you can truly count on to do anything she can to help when she is needed - this is the only time she is truly selfless. It even comes to the point that she actually becomes naive and gullible to people taking advantage of her. Breaking her trust is even harder than actually getting her friendship, as she can be so faithful that she might just turn blind eyes to fault and warning signs happening around her that someone else might notice. And whose fault is it in the end when everything cracks apart? She's going to blame on herself; she is so blinded to the point that once she has given you her precious heart, she will expect you to take the best care of it as possible as she has done to anyone who has trusted her with a task as well.

"I prefer to describe myself as 'delightfully difficult'. And it would just be easier if you agreed."
It's definitely a fragile and quite a squishy thing, her heart is. Think of her more like a jellyfish; the stingers are her sassiness and snappy demeanor grown to protect her true soft and vulnerable self on the inside. She might not act like it so since she always has to maintain a strong presence and facade around people for them to consider her seriously, but Minri is deeply insecure for many reasons. Some being her height, looks, gender and other factors - but the true person on the inside just wants to appear strong to other people. It doesn't matter who looks at her, she doesn't want to fail it at any cost since all she has got really is her wit and mental capacities compared to other people. Even if that means weeding out the weak in her group of friends so that she's only left with the strongest of the strong and those who can challenge her to do even better, she will do it. But she needs support in what she does. A fragile ego like her's cannot stand alone without back-up though and that is the true weakness of Lee Minri; dependent on the reactions and approval of others.

PAST ) Born as Lady Lee Minri, she was destined to be pampered and spoiled from the time she was born. And what was even more, as a girl, the mindset that she should be sheltered away from the world was even prevalent. As a child, it was as if she was a doll, always being forced to be stuffed into stuffy and thick clothes as the higher class women back then had to be in. Parties, social gatherings, discussions, all enclosed in rooms that she was forced to come to without actually understanding anything that was going on, just a child as she was. And even she might have been just a small child then, she at least knew something was different between herself and her brother. While she usually had to stick right next to her mother, at least Seunghyun was able to go where he wanted to go most of the time - getting away just because he was a boy. No wonder she wanted to be a boy like him, already wishing that she could have a taste of the freedom that she could see beyond the windows of the mansion with his brother.

Which is where the whole rebellious attitude of trying to escape her life came around from, first doing simple things such as just trying to not always be stuck to her mother like a magnet at all times. This allowed her the slight freedom of being able to explore around the mansion, but that was hardly enough for Minri as she could watch the other kids play outside under the blue sky while she was just... Stuck in the mansion as a princess. So one day, she had enough of this sort of life - determined to start trying to find a way out of it. Suddenly seeing an open door one day as she was wandering about the mansion on her usual "roams", there was absolutely no hesitation with Minri as she immediately toke the opportunity to just dart out without thinking. From then on, it was grief for her parents while it felt as if for the first time, her eyes were opened to the true world, not the enclosed and "safe" one inside her mansion. And she liked, definitely craving more every time she was found and escorted back from her little "adventures", not even caring if she was punished and ranted at by her parents.

Coming to the age of when all the Tamers in her family started to learn about dragons, that was when Minri got an even more tempting taste of what was really out there. When she went to school with the other girls though, it was a whole new experience. For once, it felt as if her parents weren't there to breathe down the back of her neck at all times and she could fully enjoy herself with the somewhat freedom that she had, making the most of the enjoyment of school. Whether that be meeting new people or actually being able to do physical activities as she likes it, Minri could only wish school would last longer than what it did. Her parents might have thought letting her go to the Tamer school would have curbed some of her insatiability for freedom, but it hardly did. If anything, it just made her want independence even more, with every year that she grew older, Minri became more and more unmanageable as she could feel freedom so close to her. She was going to do her own thing, and no one was going to be able to stop her - proper lady or not, Minri's definition of a 'lady' was a woman who was strong for herself.

Sadly, that wasn't the case as her parents seem to hold a tighter and tighter noose on her as she got older, more determined than ever to make her into a proper girl even with all of her rebellious acts like cutting her hair and always trying to escape the mansion. So at the age of 20, it was like they still treated her as a child, trying to tame and keep her inside the mansion as much as possible - much to no avail as now Minri still holds that rebellious streak inside of her, and if it calls for her to be staying inside and being a proper "princess", she's going to be out of it. But what she doesn't know is that life is about to have a nasty surprise for her - in a form of an arranged marriage in hopes of being able to tame her.

PRESENT ) As a 'lady', life is more than busy for Minri in the packed schedule that she has. From lessons to be a Tamer, training on how to act as a lady, social "skills" work with the other nobles, she really just doesn't have any time to actually sit down and relax. Or more importantly, no time to take things easily and think about the world. Or so her parents are trying to wear her down with a busy life so she doesn't get that rebellious urge in her again, which they don't understand isn't just a phase, it's Minri at her worst finest.

All of this is usually either in their mansion or with the others, so as soon as she opens her eyes in the morning at 6am, it's a set schedule for her to follow. Fifteen minutes to get herself together, ten minutes for breakfast and depending on the day, it is either Tamer lessons or lady training until evening (which depending on the day again, determines if she has some time to herself). Peppered in between those are small breaks or lunch times, definitely not enough for her to even catch her breath before she's whisked away on more studying. Then when it comes to about 10pm, that's finally when she can sink in her bed and try to sleep - it starts all over again at 6am the next day.

But really, how much of that happens? Not that often, and definitely not when Minri can help it. Leave a door open slightly, a window ajar and the servants might just find a rope missing here, a sheet gone there, and the cat is out of the bag as soon as they find her missing. Where does Minri go? Anywhere, literally anywhere away from home, whether that be adventuring in the forest, climbing caves, and she's not coming home unless they quite literally drag her back - dirty, hurt, but utterly happy with what she can do away from her parents and family.

LIKES )
Exploring - Nothing Minri likes more than to just be outside, finding and learning about new things that she can actually touch and enjoy by herself.
➳ Cool Days - Not too hot nor cold, just those cool, grey and cloudy days where there is a light breeze running through the trees and making everything just feel fresh - part of the reason why she likes spring so much.
➳ Thunderstorms - Unlike most people (her brother included there too), Minri is comforted and soothed by the sound of thunder instead of being afraid. Consider it an act of defiance from being a proper girl, but Minri will actually stay up and watch thunderstorms from her window.
➳ Color Blue - Blue is a soothing color, calm and peaceful. She likes that color and tends to try and wear it a lot to make her feel more relaxed when she can.
➳ Animals - Maybe it's because they treat her just as everyone else, no "Lady Lee Minri" to them that she feels as if she can interact and relate with them more. She has actually wanted to adopt a variety of creatures (including a skunk, porcupine and a long boa constrictor), but has been denied every time - it hasn't stopped her from sneaking them in though...
➳ Physical Training - Moving your body is simple and that is exactly what Minri likes about it. She doesn't have to think much besides planning out her moves and controlling her body.
➳ Freedom - An elusive and only temporary taste of freedom for Minri, but she tries to take advantage of it as much as possible, evident by the way she always tries to escape the manor at any cost whenever she can.
➳ Completion - Nothing is more sweeter than when she can look back at what she has done with a sense of pride in herself, knowing that it was her willpower to be able to do so.
➳ Alone Time - Having some time for herself allows Minri to be able to process and organize her thoughts from the day, she feels flustered and irritated if she didn't set out a few minutes just to think every day.
➳ Skinship - Minri is a secret cuddle. Don't ask her if she likes to touch people, she'll immediately say "NO." but if she suddenly receives a hug or is patted on the head, she won't resist. Sure, she might grumble a bit and say that people like using her as an armrest or a teddy bear, but she really does enjoy skinship.

DISLIKES )
Stuffy Clothing/Dresses - Big clothes on her small frame does not work out and that goes especially for the types of clothes that her mother wants her to wear. So instead, she'll often slip out of those when she doesn't absolutely have to wear female clothes and go in male clothes instead - much more comfortable when it comes to climbing and sliding down muddy slopes.
➳ Staying Still for Long - Why should she just sit still while there are so many things out there to be doing? So if she actually has to stay still, one can see that she will be fidgeting around a bit here and there (and more than not, usually whining a bit too).
➳ Lady Training - Going along with having to stay still for long, Minri just does not want to learn about being a girl with all the rules and barriers stopping her from doing what she wants to do. A girl shouldn't have those rules, and there is no way she is going to be forced into this mold that her mother and all the other women have been in, so she tries to resist it as much as possible by usually ditching her classes whenever she can.
➳ Being with Parents - They just don't understand her, especially the fact that she doesn't want to be what they consider a "proper" girl to them. So whenever she is with them, they often force her to be as "lady-like" as possible. Which explains why she would rather be anything but with her parents, her mother especially.
➳ Singing/Playing Instruments - It's not that she doesn't like music, she just doesn't have a musical ear for even playing anything. So she would rather listen, instead of making the sounds of a thousand cats wailing and dying by being electrocuted.
➳ Assumptions - As a fine lady-in-training, everyone assumes an awful lot about the lady that they don't actually know. She detests people who treat her like a child, look down on her because of her small stature or lack of worldliness. It's hardly her fault, as she'll point out, and she isn't going around looking down her nose at everyone else (because duh, that's impossible of course), so why is she under such scrutiny?
➳ Getting her ego squashed on - This girl has a massive ego that size of a blimp - and is just as easy to puncture too. One sharp comment or insult and she's going to feel like the world is hating on her and somehow her karma is on PMS too.
➳ Ignored/Alone/Rejected - What scares Minri the most is not having someone else who supports her, she's not much of an attention , but she is a definite affection who needs at least one person to back her up whenever she does anything.
➳ Being called "cute" - "Damn it, I am not cute! Stop calling me cute!" One of the things she thinks is most insulting to her is that everyone thinks she is cute, especially when she gets angry and enraged because she's just so... Small and without knowing it, just extrudes out cuteness. Maybe that's why she doesn't like being called cute because she doesn't know that she is doing such cute things.
➳ Bright/Neon colors - Ugh, she just absolutely hates bright colors. Maybe it's because she has terrible vision and her eyes aren't the best, but if she stares at bright colors for too long, she usually might get a light headache from it.

HABITS )
➳ Snorting - She just snorts; whether that be when she's feeling incredulous, laughing at something or just whenever something surprising comes up. People have said that it sounds like a little piglet and it's probably one of the only things that can embarrass her if mentioned about her.
➳ Hands on the hips - When her hands are on her hips, that's when the sass really comes out. So when she starts to glare and her head is slightly tilted, whoever she is going to sass down had better either run or anchor themselves somewhere because she will literally pour rage on them.
➳ Poking - When you're as short as Minri, there's not that many options to draw attention to yourself, especially if there are taller and more louder people around. So she resorts to poking people either in the arm or in the side to get them to notice her.
Tickling - Going along with poking, if that doesn't work, then she'll whip out the tickling card and start using her tiny fingers to do the dirty deed. This works quite well against her brother and she will often use this against her other male friends whenever they're ignoring her too.
➳ Flailing her arms around - Another thing that she has learned to grab attention to her when she doesn't think poking is a reasonable tactic. But of course, this one is more for casual uses as she can't exactly use it when she's in a serious situation, though when she is irritated or pissed, she tends to jsut throw her hands up into the air (and spew out angry nonsense).

HOBBIES)
Escaping - This is almost like a constant test of skills for Minri, how fast and how clean she can get away from the castle and her family as much as possible. Whenever she makes a clean break, that's a good reward for her efforts.
➳ Origami - Just a relaxing activity for her, especially since it's mostly mindless and doesn't take much brainpower to actually fold paper. She has a tendency to just zone out whenever she's folding and will usually end up with a whole bunch of one figure.
➳ Organizing - Playing in with her mild OCD and tendency have perfection all around her, Minri tends to have some itchy fingers when it comes to seeing things that aren't perfect or disorganized. That doesn't mean she'll run around trying to set a store as perfectly as possible or something, but when it comes to the little things, she's definitely going to try to make it symmetrical and all the beauty of being "perfect".
➳ Sketching - She might not be the best artist around, but she does love to draw. Especially things that are beautiful and unique to her, she feels like she has to capture that beauty in case/before it disappears. Just a simple sketch is enough to make her happy.
➳ Strategics/Strategy games - Not surprisingly with just how competitive she is, Minri is a quite fond lover of games. Especially fighting and games using the mind where she can compete and beat up other people. She absolutely hates to lose and when she does, count on her pouring massive quantities of hours in to accomplish the task of being champion.

FEARS )
Tight Places - It comes from the dislike she has of being almost drowned in layers of clothes as the culture demands women to be along with being trapped in the castle for the rest of her life, unable to see the open blue sky above her.
➳ Darkness - Stemming mostly from those fairy tales that her mother used to tell her a child to keep her in bed on time, as naive as she is, Minri still has a fear of the dark and the monsters of her imagination lurking there. She'll usually never go exploring at night unless there is someone else there with her to come along.
➳ Heights - Maybe it's because of her short height and the fact that when they were little, her brother used to pretend to push her out of the windows (while they were joking around, he wasn't exactly being malicious) that whenever Minri looks down from somewhere high, she'll immediately freeze up and not want to move anywhere at all.

TRIVIA )
➳ Bad Eyesight - Talk about being nearly blind as a bat, the world would be just blurs of color if Minri didn't wear glasses. She doesn't like to admit that she has such terrible eyes though, and will usually deny it as much as possible.
➳ Physicality - Even for her small size, Minri is better at fencing and physical activities than her brother. It could be because she has more energy and enthusiasm running around than he does.
Solo Metal TamerAmong all her family who have Tamed a dragon, she is the only one to have Tamed a Metal one. Most of them have either Tamed a Wood or a Water Dragon, with a few ancestors having Tamed an Earth or Fire Dragon. ➳ Hiccups - Whenever she starts hiccuping, the only way she is going to stop is if she eats - a lot. Not even drinking tons of water will help her, as that has been tried already. The longest she's gone hiccuping was actually a few hours, and not one moment of that was fun for her (and especially when her friends kept cracking up at her words being cut off by the hiccups).
➳ Single and Ready to BingoMinri has actually never had a boyfriend before as Minri has probably sent every single of them running for their lives with their imaginary tails between their legs So the only romance that she has ever had is through her books and her own imagination.
➳ Allergies - She really does not like flowers unlike most girls. Maybe it's the stigma that comes with being a princess that she is trying to rebel against and the fact that she sneezes easily from dust and pollen, but she really just does not like them at all.
➳ Sleep-Talking - She has a habit of talking in her sleep, sometimes saying embarrassing things that have been bugging her that day. And even though she can be extremely good at keeping secrets while she's awake, the cat might be out of the bag when she is asleep.
Partying All Day and NightIf it was not for the schedule she has, Minri definitely would be having a crazy schedule. Whenever she can, that's what she does - rebel completely against her usual 10pm bedtime and 6am wake up times.
➳ Boy or Girl? - Going along with not liking to wear layers upon layers of clothes, Minri will actually raid and steal some of her brother's clothes to wear. Good thing that he isn't that tall, so she'll find the more smaller clothes and wear them instead. With that, she does enjoy romping around with her short hair (that much to her mother's dismay, Minri cuts whenever it gets anywhere near to her neck and sadly, the woman can't do anything about because wigs come off in less than 3 seconds) and acting like a boy - a taste of the freedom that she desperately wants.

FAMILY
father / lee, keonyoung / 48 / somber, prudent, antediluvian, wary, deliberate
The father who spoils his daughter would be part of how he treats Minri, but only if he thinks that fits into the proper ladies role of what she wants. Dolls, dresses, jewelry? Yes, he'll be more than happy to give that to her, but those things aren't what she wants. Swords, riding clothes, a horse? Definitely and utterly no. Minri has to say that he seems so stuck in the past and how ladies are supposed to be that he's blind to the present princess, his own daughter and what she wants.
➳ mother / lee, sunyeon / 46 fussy, anxious, uneasy, snappy, quick-tempered
To say that Minri doesn't love her mother is not the right way she sees her - of course a daughter loves her mother, but sometimes she just wishes her mother wasn't always just there around her all the time and geezus, did she get the unlucky end of the stick to get this sort of mother? Literally, that is how her mother is, always either looking over her shoulder or hanging around to check that she isn't getting into "trouble", trouble that Minri usually gets into to escape her mother. Of course she knows that her mother always wants the best for her, but how much does her mother understand her? Sometimes, she just thinks that her mother doesn't understand her at all as who she is - so single-minded in how she idealizes that she can't understand what her own daughter wants. "Mother knows best does not apply in this situation."
➳
older brother / lee, minhyuk / 23 / ingenious, spirited, perceptive, compassionate, keen
In a way, Minhyuk is the male version of Minri, except much much more kinder and he actually is allowed to know more about the world than her and is more of the inventor than the mechanic. Between the two of them, he actually is willing to go along with his sister's (sometimes) crazy ideas and is happy to explain whatever she wants to know. She has the idea, he puts it into action and they go off onto their mini adventures whenever he's not busy with his princely duties. When they were little kids, these two were inseparable and to a certain degree, they are still in a way. Whenever she can, Minri will try to stay as near as possible to Minhyuk, and he will always keep a careful eye over her as a protective brother. Sometimes, they do have their occasional spats, but Minhyuk is patient and emphatic enough that he will usually explain his own reasoning to her.

FRIENDS
best friend / choi, minho / 21 / calm, dense, attentive, pragmatic, serious
Being the neighboring blacksmith, Minho's forge is actually connected to the mansion and therefore, easy for Minri to come and find him. Whenever she comes, he has to admit that she does lighten his day and make his work easier - whether that be because she doesn't hesitate to help him out as much as she can or the fact that her insatiable curiosity makes him laugh sometimes. Even his dragon doesn't mind having her around, as she too absolutely adores his dragon. He's quite willing to answer any questions she has and tell her stories (since he is a foreigner) of his homeland and his childhood along with allowing her to keep his dragon company. Whenever he is finished with work or has a day off, he'll always try to bring her on a short trip for fun - much to the displeasure of her parents, but he is the best blacksmith and they can't exactly fire him because his skills are so needed. Minho also likes making small metal animal ornaments and accessories for her whenever he can.
➳ close friend / kim, yukwon / 22 / light-hearted, cheery, bold, audacious, spontaneous
Yukwon is much like Minri, much to the delight of the girl, except for the fact that he just doesn't seem to have as much venom in him. No need, together, they make such a dynamic duo that Minri's sass just makes up good enough for the usually harmless "kitty" to obediently go along with her - and more importantly, protect her when her brother can't do so. Actually, what Minri doesn't know is that Minhyuk has ensured that whatever happens, Yukwon's first duty is to check up on Minri and ensure that she is alright. But he would have done it anyways, considering that he harbors a small crush and affection for his small friend whom he has known every since being a child.
tutor friend
/ lee, minwoo / 33 / patient, intellectual, illustrious, witty, subtle
Being a princess, of course her parents want her to have the best education and therefore, that is where Minwoo comes in. He is admittedly, one of the best tutors and scholars around since he had Tamed his dragon long when he was younger than the others and therefore, is one of the most knowledgeable humans on the island. He tries to impart this knowledge whenever he can to her, whether that be with small snippets of quotes here and there to Minri whenever they pass each other in the hallway or whenever they're actually sitting down and discussing her studies. He's quite fond of her and is happy to let her fire off as many questions as she wants to him, usually lightening the mood by answering back with a joking answer while his dragon will usually the one who gives the more deeper and serious side of the answer. He's known her since she was a little kid (about the age of 4) and therefore, is very attuned and keen to what she could be thinking along with what she wants to ask him - so he usually answers the question before she even asks it.

OTHERS )
arranged fiancee / choi, siwon / 28 / amorous, genteel, whimsical, commanding, foxy
Honestly, Minri has no reason whatsoever to really hate Siwon at all, except for the fact that really, he has to be the one to marry her. What she sees him is just the town handsome player, and for all of his good looks, that is how close she would like to be to him. So when the news broke and all of a sudden, Siwon started to appear much more often than she wanted in the manor, the more vacant Minri became of the house.
➳ rival / lee, hi / 17 /  flirtatious, energetic, conceited, snappy, deceptive
Hi absolutely despises Minri even though they're cousins. Why? Because Minri is everything she isn't, has everything she doesn't, gets all the attention that she doesn't. It's not that they're necessary opposites, but she's so blinded by the jealousy of how different Minri is and how her parents lavish so much attention (that Minri rather not have) upon her that she can't ever see herself as anything less than worthy of the "princess" title. And she would almost give anything she has to get it. Whenever they see each other, expect cat fights - and terribly vicious ones at that, because Minri nor Hi is going to hold anything back when going at each other's throats.

the one they see

TAMER ) Minri: I wouldn't be surprised if it was from birth. No really, my mother probably did set me up for being a tamer, oh... About the time she started stuffing me in dresses and showing me which forks to use which what food. Which was is the salad fork again? The one to stab you with.

HOW DID YOU FEEL? ) Minri: Well, depends on what you mean, how did I feel. I was sick that day when they told me, so goodie for the unfortunate soul, I threw up at their feet. Yes, I did not feel great at all, as honestly, my mother aka 'le queen biotch' is a tamer too, and lookie me being the perfect daughter to be a tamer like her too. Dragons are awesome and what so, but to be like my mom? No thanks to that.

WEAKNESSES ) Minri: Honey boo, I have no weaknesses. Come on, do you really believe me? Do I look like a superhuman? Come on.
Documented later:
pride & independence / Though taking pride in yourself and the work you do is not a bad thing, having too much of it can be. Her constant strive to do things on her own, without help, often gets her hurt or into trouble (though she will only tell you not to save her, for want of doing it on her own). If she is in need of money, never offer it. If she is in need of physical assistance, help discreetly. If ever in a fight, do not tell her she is wrong. She is quick to get indignant when people do not follow this, thinking that they believe she is not able enough to accomplish anything on her own, when in fact it’s simply her pride getting in her way.
compulsive / When she wants to do something, she will do it. No matter what the cost is, how much pain there is, not even if everyone else against her. She does what she wants to do and if it's going to risk her life, then so be it. However, being impulsive like this leads her into many compromising situation when it's either going to be her safety or her goal that is going to have to be sacrificed - and she would be much more glad to sacrifice her life for what she wants.
critical / She doesn't mean to be a nit-pick, that's just how she is. Critical of people, critical of things, critical of what is done, and especially, critical of herself. She demands nothing but what she thinks is ideal or perfect and when things go out of her status quo, she won't hesitate to think bad of it - but always remember, she's her own worst critic so when things go wrong and it's her fault, no one is going to be harsh than herself.

, i can shield you forever, my princess
RELATIONSHIP ) He used to be more social with other Metal dragons, even having his own mate. But after one fateful night (which even he doesn't have all the details to) after he had came home from hunting to only find his mate killed and all of his belongings either destroyed or burned, that was when he turned his face on humanity and the rest of the dragon race. He does not know exactly who/what did such a thing, but he still holds a terrible grudge and a broken heart from that incident that he is sure he will never be able to recover from.
THE CONTRACT ) To be honest, he dislikes humans. They are either too dull or too boring for his taste, along with dying off in a few measly years. He does not want to waste time on a relationship that will have to end soon (in his terms, human lives are meaningless because they have such short lives). Of course, this does not include Minri in that equation, because he is about sure she could make up several times over for the rest of the human existance.
SHELTER ) In the abandoned fortress perched in the mountaints, he has made sure that it has a reputation of being haunted (by his own doings) to ensure that no one who has some sense of caution will ever go near it.
HIS PRINCESS ) At first, they were shocked. Then worried, and then mixed in with that was a swelling of pride - but then still mostly worried. Worried because of the fact that he is a metal dragon and notorious as they are, they were not sure their little princess can handle him and that would bring shame onto their family if she could not. Though at the same time, they are also proud because not many actually get to be a metal dragon's tamer and with such a princely and knowledgeable dragon too (as he appears to them and everyone else, Minri is the only one who knows the truth of him).

HIS STATUS
strength : 4 - He may not be the strongest of dragons, but he's certainly not the weakest. He can hold himself well in a battle but knows his limits.
evasiveness : 6 - His reflexes are always sharp, his mind can usually process things almost instantly and let him avoid dangers that would befall him if he was not. But the same thing cannot be said of his dragon body, he is massive and thus, usually gets hit somehow.
agility : 5 - Going along with the evasiveness, he tends to keep himself together and try to get out of the way as much as possible. Though sometimes, that is not possible with how large his dragon body is.
speed : 7 - He is quick and decisive, never does he likes to hang around and waste time. Though there are moments when it seems like that is all he wants to do when he is occupied with making fun or riling a certain someone up.
stealth : 9 - Every movement he makes is deliberate, careful and well-thought out. He thinks before he acts and therefore, almost never makes a mistake with what he is doing.
intelligence : 10 - Even though he might not like to share his knowledge, the Metal dragon holds some secrets of the land that not even other dragons know about.
mentality : 9 - As perfectly organized as his fortress is, that is is how neat even his mind is. It is evident that he is a perfectionist by the way he learns and processes things, with great care. Not to mention, the great wealth of wit and knowledge that he has.
intuition : 2 - After having lived in isolation for so long and practicing the uttermost caution, this dragon follows what he can sense and evidence than his guts.
trust : 1 - His mental walls are high, difficult to get through and almost impenetrable. He rather keep it that way, it's more easier to deal with people when there aren't pesky emotions or attachments in the way.
socially : 4 - Honestly, he has his golden ways of making people fall in love in him, that is not his genuine side. That princely smile he has? Not the real one, and if he could have his way, all it would take is just one phrase to about piss everyone else off while he gets a good laugh out of the situation.
team work : 2 - To say that he is a team worker is laughable. He does what he wants as he had done for so many years in isolation and the only way he will cooperate is if he gets something out of it or the situation is dire - aka, he's going to have to clean up bloody messes.
sacrifice : 75 - As the only human that he actually has interest and is devoted in (along with a good source of entertainment and amusement to liven up his terribly drab days), there is precious little reason why he would not sacrifice himself instead.
his heart : 60 - It depends on the day, really. When it seems like they can tolerate each other without ripping at each other verbally, then it seems like the Metal Dragon really does care in his own little sly ways for her.

OBEDIENCE ) Minri: Does a Metal Dragon like being anything but a dragon? Can he be a bunny? No, so don't even ask if he takes orders from me, or anyone else for that matter. What's that? He obeys my parents? Dear, you stupid idiotic dear, he's not really following their orders. There's a difference between him genuinely following someone, and him just doing it for the sake of benefiting himself. What you should ask if he does anything geniunely - do you really think he actually performed the contract? Is this a real pearl? Is it? Maybe you should ask him, but knowing him, he's not going to give you a clear answer anyways. He never does for anything, so what makes you think he gives me a clear answer for anything I ask him? He doesn't care about what I want, it's really what he wants. But no worries, I will tame his little spiky to the hell of- censored

In any case, the best way to make him even listen to you is to punch him in the face. Do it, I dare you. But don't blame me later if you wind up with half of your body missing, heh. You will never be me, and don't you dare try doing something to me anyways. Because I am just going to laugh if you try the wrath of a Metal Dragon when someone hurts his tamer.

KIM JONGDAE.
LEE HONGBIN

SUMMARY ) Jongdae is one hell of a proud man - if he was a man, and not a dragon. But a dragon should have a skin of stone and metal, and that is exactly what Jongdae has. However, that doesn't stop him from being fiercely proud of who he is, and never can anyone convince him otherwise of his self-confidence and pride in himself. Disregard his youthful look as a human, it would be rude to ask Jongdae just how old he is and what he has to surpass in his life. But all those tragedies, the pain he has felt and still carries within him and all of the stress on his shoulders will never be apparent from looking at him, because just how deep and buried it is, this dragon definitely has a heart of gold.

However to get to said heart is a bit more of a challenge that not many people are willing to try to dig into - nor would Jongdae ever let them get that close anyways. There just seems to be this atmosphere of coldness around him; some would say that it is literally the air being chilled around Jongdae, because goodness, is he cold and chill. More stoic and expressively unaffected by anything that comes his ways (especially Minri's verbal barbs), there is a reason why Jongdae has been able to survive this long and still keep his sanity from being alone. Jongdae does not need to say that he is strong, because the kind of strength that the dragon possesses is a deeply rooted and sturdy one that ten out of tem would say that they could see him lasting just fine for another thousand years if Minri hadn't just waltzed into his life like that.

This consistently chilled attitude is apparent in absolutely everything Jongdae does, and everything he says. He takes everything in his stride, shrugging off any teasing remarks against him and most impressively, is able to conjure his own teasing remarks just as quickly. Because of the fact that he is always so level-headed at all times, Jongdae is able to take in stride what most people cannot comprehend because really, at his advanced age, practically nothing surprises him any more. And if it does, his wit just kicks in like a piston, and it allows for him to have the distance that he needs to formulate his thoughts again before countering back before anyone else can even recognize that he has faltered just for the briefest of seconds.

If it was not for his smooth exterior of wit and distance, one could definitely just see how truly kind and good-natured Jongdae could have been all the time. Yes, he may have his moments where his jokes might offend someone (*cough*Minri*cough*), but never fear, Jongdae has enough genteel notions in him to at least pull back when it gets too far - not that it would ever get that way. But even for all of his immense presence and the reputation that the metal dragon possesses, never will you see someone who wants just the simpliest and most humble out of life - it's just that life never gives him what he wants, but maybe that's for the good of what has happened.

PREDECESSOR ) n/a

CONTRACT ) The mark is below the nape of her neck, between the shoulderblades. The pearl is an earcuff.

FIRST MEETING ) Going on her routine escapees away from the mansion, Minri decided to do something that she had never done - go to the mountains instead. It wasn't that she was bored of going to the village, it was just that whenever she looked out to those great and impossible looking mountains, it seemed just so much more fascinating and curious out there (not to mention, probably filled with all those idyllic scenes she had been taught and seen in her books). So the princess she was and sheltered away, of course Minri had not heard about the "haunted" abandoned fortress tucked away in the mountains. It was even feared among the village that if they talked about the fortress at all, they would be haunted - Jongdae did a good job of instilling that fear deep into the minds of the people. But really, what could stop Minri from actually going now that her mind was set on it? So she did the necessary preparations that she knew though, grabbing a cloak and some food before heading out - thinking that it was going to be perhaps like a little step up the stairs.

Sadly enough, that was hardly the case. Instead, unknowingly just running into the forest at the foot of the mountains to avoid getting seen and caught by the guards made her wildly lost - she had never learned any skills about navigating her way around besides knowing where the sun rose and set. And even though she tried to find her way around, she only got more and more lost until she found herself stumbling, all scraped and bruised up in front of the abandoned fortress. Like the curious twerp she was, of course Minri wasn't afraid. In fact, she actually thought she could get help from whoever lived inside, brazenly just pushing the rotting door open and yelling out impetously for whoever was in there to show their cowardly face.

Jongdae was not very happy to see her there, not in the very least. He didn't understand why this little girl had the absolute balls to just walk up to the "haunted" fortress (he didn't go to the village and thus, didn't know what the princess looked like) and knock on the rotted door, so he simply stayed hidden in his human form - just watching her. Evidently, she now thought that it was completely abandoned and began to explore at her leisure, making Jongdae more and more irritated with every step and peek she took into every abandoned room until she was outside the quarters that he actually occupied.

Then he couldn't take it any more. Didn't understand why this little girl was like this and he pretty much lost his cool at that moment, banging open the door and glaring down at her with his utterly still handsome face and flaring nostrils. It was safe to say that when he did that, the door bomped her on the head and along with making her fall backwards, pass out as well. Now Jongdae could start panicking since he didn't actually mean to hurt her like that, freaking out (slightly) before trying to stop the flow of blood from her forehead while bending over her. Contrary to what he thought, she wasn't passed out for long though, just a few moments before she awoke to seeing a strange and quite utterly handsome man face-to-face with her - getting the response of a muffled scream from the shock of just seeing him right there before punching said also very surprised Jongdae right in the face.

That surprised him as well and much to her surprise, said very-sharp-cheekbone man just shook his head and with a quirk of his eyebrow, told her very abruptly that she was probably suffering some brain damage from the accident and ordered her to get out after he has sealed up the wound. Minri of course, was quite offended by such, and simply snorts before waving him off. Instead of getting a response, all she really got was his stare, and not one to back away from a challenge, so did Jongdae get a mean-eyed stare back.

What commenced afterwards was a rapid-fire of taunting and provoking questions, neither Jongdae nor Minri wanting to back off, and much to her surprise... Perhaps this man is the first who could actually match her wit eye for an eye. Eventually, both of them are out of breath, and before Minri could ask the most important question of all, he was already picking her up and moving down a well hidden trail on the mountain side. Honestly, Jongdae wouldn't have wanted to at all - why would he? She was annoying, loud, arrogant, and most importantly, she needed to go.

But what Jongdae didn't realize was that he was smiling, once again in many many years. Decades, centuries, perhaps? He wasn't sure why he was smiling, maybe because of a nostalgic feeling, maybe that feeling of being properly matched in intelligence and sassiness - he wasn't sure. But what he did know was that not once did Minri stop talking to him or asking him questions - which he artfully darted around. It was like she had an endless reservior of questions, and once they came to the edge of the forest, Jongdae was not at all gentle with her as he tossed her into a bed of ferns. Good riddance to her, and after a final little spat, the dragon was slipping back among the trees.

Sadly, the peace he thought he was used to was quickly broken once again by a very obnoxious overgrown sprite who once again, visited him the next week. And the week after that, and lo behold, Jongdae could say that he was looking forward to the visits - but never once will he admit so to Minri. Or would Minri ever admit that she too enjoyed his company quite the bit.

RELATIONSHIP ) Between these two, there seems to be a never ending stream of constant bickering and teasing - the teasing mostly from Jongdae while the bickering from Minri. One can say that they are like cat and dog, always grumbling and growling and that one day, tempers might just somehow bubble over and everything will explode between them. This mostly applies to Minri actually, but Jongdae is very careful to make it so that she actually never gets to that point. Instead, he simply likes to see her squirm either under his flirtatious and sweet nothings, or needling teasing - always making sure that she actually doesn't do anything more vicious than sass him. As much as she's the queen of sass, Jongdae is the king of sass and won't even hesitate to sass her back with as much sassiness in his pants as he can get.

But under all that grumbling and growling that seems to permeate the very air whenever they're together, there is a sense of stability between them. Minri knows that he's always going to be that sassy troll who just loves to mess and play with her while Jongdae knows that she'll always be that snappy and sharp sprite who will slap some sense into him (literally and figuratively). So even though it might seem like the world will one day rip between their constant tormenting of each other, they do have a silent acknowledgement (that neither of them will ever admit) that they do feel the most at peace with each other - constantly sharpening one another and keeping things "interesting" between them. She never knows when he might just suddenly surprise her with a cute and/or thoughtful gift (along with a whole bunch of gag gifts too), since it just depends on how romantic or just plain thoughtful he's feeling - that's just Jongdae for you.

When separated from her, expect hell from him. Quite literally, no matter where Minri is or what she's doing, you can always see or somehow just know that Jongdae has to be in a distance of a few yards from her - even if that means he's pressed up against the closest wall of the room next to hers. Never would he ever admit it, but now that Minri is in his life, being alone again just never exactly feels complete or normal again. Everyone else would also agree with that, and they always seem to see Minri and Jongdae as one presence nowadays...
FAMOUS LAST WORDS ) Honestly, so I'm a bit iffy with Minri's personality and all that fitting the metal dragon plotline, so if you want, I could actually edit the entire application to make it fit the free one? And Minri isn't too similar to my old one, Jooeun, so I hope her more sassy and vehement personality is still okay - if not, as I said, I'll be happy to change my goal to the free plotline! c:
and perhaps jongdae in his dragon form looks somewhat like this? just something very elegant and smooth, like him. <3
I hope you enjoy her anyways, I keep feeling like I'm missing... Something... Somehow... XD

SCENE SUGGESTIONS )
➳ First time Minri sees Jongdgae in his dragon form, she's pretty much bowled over from just how... Different (and scary) he looks, though she recovers herself fast enough. Then he is surprised that she is not running away in fear from him, which makes her smirk and say to him, "Really? You just look really badass. I like it, why can't you look this manly all the time?" This warms his heart as no human has ever given him any positive or kind words on how his dragon form looks - only negative comments on how ugly he looks or just how terrifying he is.
➳ Minri tries to practice her flute (because her mother threatened her with some very heavy threats if she didn't improve at least) with Jongdae and after having to endure through that arduous torture for nearly an hour, he snatches it away and sits her down before starting to sing. Nevertheless, it should be known that Jongdae was forced to sing everywhere and whenever Minri wants him to do afterwards.
➳ One normal day while they're hanging out with each other, Minri falls asleep on Jongdae's shoulder (since she could have had a tiring day and didn't get to sleep at all the last night) which makes him silently grumble and pretend to be irritated, but he actually hardly minds at all. Then while he's trying to concentrate on reading or doing whatever he's doing, she starts blabbing things in her sleep about how handsome and perfect he is - making Jongdae feel embarrassed and more than abashed though he says nothing about her sleep talking when she wakes up.
➳ Pretty much Minri does something stupid or reckless while Jongdae was not paying attention to her and he found her nearly drowning in the water. Pulled her out, she's nearly passed out and he makes a frantic effort to wake her up the old-fashioned way - mouth-to-mouth (muhahaha).
➳ Hi goes too far in her rage against Minri and actually tries to drown Minri by pushing her off a small waterfall, but luckily Jongdae is there to catch her and for once in his life - he loses his temper and slaps Hi across the face, telling her that she deserves nothing but to be ashamed and not even a human for what she has done to Minri (in a very quiet and polite tone, he's the sort of quiet scary angry).
➳ Hi could try to somehow hurt or continue to irritate Minri, causing Jongdae to literally lose his temper one day and suddenly shift into his dragon form, scaring the girl straight out of the house and making sure that she never comes back (or she does and she's even more hell-bent than ever, ohoho).
