( style ) : honestly, whatever style jongin has, jooeun surely has practically the same style too. considering that boy clothes are a lot more comfortable and easier to wear too, it's a rarity for jooeun to be wearing a dress - if she is, expect it to be rumpled and probably not washed in like a month after having been squashed under also unwashed clothes in the laundry basket. she doesn't mind wearing anything, even if that anything is a trash bag over her body. but if she did had a chance, just give her a simple t-shirt with some skinny jeans or shorts (okay, that's one thing the kim twins can't share - but don't count on jooeun  not stealing jongin's washed underwear if she gets too lazy to wash her own clothes) and she'll easily throw on one of jongin's coats or jackets to huddle and nap comfortable in with a beanie (that is literally a staple of her nonexistent style) that doubles as her personal travel pillow. same goes for her sleep wear; count on seeing her wear the same pjs that jongin was wearing a week ago. really, the only time you'll ever see her put any effort into her dress is when there's someone there that she desperately wants to impress - and that only refers to less than the amount of people in her family.

( appearance ) : if her style wasn't enough to state that jooeun doesn't really care about how she looks, then her hair should be a good enough indication that even the most oblivious person could notice (and jongin noticed, okay). mostly an almost sickly looking brown/blonde/greyish color, the genius idea jongin had was to dye the last couple inches a vivid blue that is quickly fading every time she takes a dip or even stays in the sun (which is surprisingly a lot since that's where catnaps are the best). she doesn't even put in the effort to tie up her hair (like 95% of the time), simply letting the frizzly mass just hang around her face comfortably without even bothering to brush or tame it any way. besides from that, her skin is slightly darker than the normal korean like her twin, mostly because of how sunscreen practically doesn't even exist for her. no piercings or tattoos for her; that would be too much effort to maintain (and most likely, jooeun would forget with her trivia goldfish memory span), and the only scars she's really had are mostly small superficial ones not worth mentioning or even noticing.

"get in slow motion" • just at a glance, jooeun is an seemingly easy puzzle to solve; she seems like one of those people who does not have any sort of motivation to get anything done. and in part, that is actually kinda true, but not the entire truth of how she is. it isn't that she's not motivated to do anything lately, it is just that in the most part, jooeun is quite satisfied and content with the life that she has. she just doesn't need to put her full 100% effort into anything any more. her ambition might seem almost short-sighted or even nonexistent to do anything but maintain her current lifestyle, but that is because she doesn't want anything different. Jooeun is naturally an easily satisfied person, and not someone who ever craves for anything more than what she can attain most comfortably and securely; her entire life has been built around this standard and balance of a middle class that she is most used to. however, her brand of laziness doesn't mean that it'll bring her to ruins at the end of the day, it's actually quite the opposite. as lazy as she is, jooeun is no procrastinator and she is simply so lethargic because she's done enough beforehand to ensure that she can relax later and not have to worry any more. likewise in her actions, if she can work hard now to relax later, she'll do just that - like for example, building a machine to brush her teeth so she'll never have to brush her teeth ever again or barricading the room from zombies that jongin and her are taking refuge in so much that nothing besides a literal tank can get in through the doors so that they can actually relax and get a good night's sleep.

"what is love" • because of the fact that jooeun is not very ambitious nor greedy for anything (except for food and sleep really), she is also not exactly aggressive either. which means that for the most part, jooeun doesn't have any problem with other people, as long as they don't have a problem with her. why should she have a problem anyways? she has her own life, and they have theirs, so she's much more happier coexisting and going on with her own life and business that meddling with other people's. thus, jooeun might be inactive with actually trying to reach out and be social, but that doesn't mean that she isn't friendly; in fact, she's probably one of the friendliest people to talk to because with the lack of negative emotions like jealousy or anger clouding her mind most of the time, which allows her to look at situations both impartially and in a very placid way. however, since she's always so open and never really defensive about anything, it is extremely easy to get her to do things; jooeun is naturally obedient and will simply go along with the flow of what is ordered of her. she's by no means a leader, simply a follower, and will only do what is ordered and directed of her - no more, no less. just enough to get by comfortably. if forced to lead though, you can count of her to always be the much more careful and wary type who would rather slowly plod through an area when its safe than seize an opportunity to rush through when there is danger around.

"i lost my mind" • besides from when her life (or virtual life) is in danger, jooeun is actually quite just oblivious to small details; mainly because she actually doesn't care that much aout them when they're not important. it could be as little as just forgetting to bring her phone along or being unable to find something that she left somewhere else than usual, but while her eyes tend to just skim over the "unimportant" details of most things, what saves her sometimes is her sense of intuition. it's just that gut feeling whenever she leaves her house without her wallet that suddenly prompts Jooeun that she should check herself, or the feeling of DOOM that suddenly sends a shiver down her spine that she should perhaps be a bit more careful for now. also because she never allows for strong emotions to seize her, jooeun relies most on her logic and calm temper to be able to react extremely coolly to most situations; in action games and in extreme high-stress situations, you can always count on her to be the one to check everything and keep her cool when the world around her is literally burning up or overrun with hungry monsters.

↷ food monster • there's like no limit to how much food this girl can eat as long as she sits and lounges around in a food coma for a bit before picking at food. literally, jooeun has done this for an entire day before, so count on it happening again.
↷ chub-chub • generally on the off-seasons, jooeun tends to get a bit chubby and fat. which she really doesn't even mind or notice at all, considering that she hardly has any if no clothes that actually accent her body at all.

"laugh loudly three times, listen to a song five times" • the only world the twins have ever known was elsa key, and each other. literally born a few minutes before her twin, jongin, they had quite the normal childhood together in a middle class family near the outskirts of the city. not exactly poor nor rich, at least the twins could explore and do things together like normal kids then, mostly trying their best not to make their stay-at-home momma mad at them with some of the troubles only twins can get into. even from the beginning, their relationship was much more peaceful and compromisable than most siblings, considering that there were many times that everyone and even their mother thought that she should have been born as a boy, because just of how similar the two twins look for being just paternal twins. most of the time, jongin didn't have to work as hard or do as many chores as jooeun did (because she was a girl!), but really, she doesn't mind - her little brother is too cute to be angry at most of the time, even if the majority of the people would rather say that he's a hottie.

"if you sleep for five hours, it wouldn't be a big deal" • a few years down the road, and school was more or less extremely boring for jooeun. she doesn't exactly remember when she stopped really caring about being the most perfect angel in the class, but managed to keep up her grades enough not to draw any attention to herself and then move out with jongin to an apartment near the resorts. unlike her hot beach body bum brother who was almost lost after not being under the wings of their parents caring for them, she managed to adapt fairly well enough to score a decent job as a life guard at three seasons after getting her certificate and being kicked out of atlantis for sleeping on the job (once! just once!). once in a while, she takes pity on jongin and lets him fill in her job for her, especially on the off-seasons when she would rather sleep in and laze around than do anything.

↷ cho, kyuhyun / 26 / brofriend / unknown / can't really say that kyuhyun is her boyfriend in any means, but hell sure are they kindred spirits (actual quote from kyuhyun: "my hobby used to be sleeping... now i'm trying out foods a lot too") with their mutual love of food, sleep and video games. when not doing all of those three things, it's hard to find them together in any other situations. kyuhyun is simply too sassy and clever for his own good, and jooeun doesn't really care that much about what else he does when not doing their three holy deeds together. of course she wonders where he went after the outbreak, but there's not much worry about kyuhyun - that competitive and greedy bastard who always takes her food and cheats can probably handle himself. that's what their zombie video games were for, right?
↷ jung, yunho / 28 / past life guard mentor/mancrush / unknown / ahem, finally someone that jooeun would care enough about to make herself look pretty and well-kept. she really hasn't seen the handsome bouncy ball of sunshine in a while, considering that he works for atlantis. god, the things she would do for that man, but jooeun has realized the futility of her situation from the beginning, and just accepts him as more of an "idolizing crush". no heart breaks, just lots of sometime creepy admiring. probably has kyuhyun clinging onto him because she's sure those rippling muscles and horse thighs can ward off any zombie away from himself.
↷ kim, joonmyun / 25 / boss/current crush / alive last seen by jooeun 2 days, 16 hours, 5 minutes and 39 seconds ago / okay, jooeun kinda admits that she's completely head over heels in love with that man and can't help but want to melt into a puddle any time he even walks into the room or anywhere nearer than 100m to her. finally, an attainable man at the least, something about the ahjusshi worrying and care of their resident grandpa in the staff just makes her kororo flutter like it's never done before. jongin never ceases to express his wonder at how fast and drastic she changes when around their dubbed "guardian angel" aka suho into a beautiful swan from the fluffy and ugly duckling she's usually is. she simply states that if she didn't look her best, how could she go to heaven with this heavenly angel? not that jooeun really "worries", obsessively and is completely concerned with someone for once if joonmyun can actually stand the outbreak, but her main goal right now is locate their precious grandpa before he suddenly finds himself in a loss of control over the situation - just like the way that joonmyun really never seems to have control over his staff (okay, jooeun can't help but pity and want to please their gently kind boss, but still - 7am for work?! that's simply too early for her!).

( the outbreak ) : business is slow... soooo slow... wayyy too slow. so slow enough that on the first outbreak day, she was napping as always in the lifeguard chair with jongin lazily floating in the pool next to her (okay, if he drowns, that's his fault) when the news happened. literally, she didn't care at all, even as yixing was practically a blur running back and forth with joonmyun worrying about what was going on (okay, she did care a bit to at least look like she was awake any time she heard joonmyun's heavenly steps walk around) even on the 6th day when they were supposed to stay in. great for her and jongin, they just threw their stuff together as usually and napped that entire day. it wasn't until the 8th day that they were both rudely awaken by yixing who practically handed jooeun a shotgun and a med kit and jongin a machete and a pistol. then told them to hide and run, because this was no longer a video game (because duh, yixing would know that these two have played all the zombie games together). simply, that was what they did - after grabbing some food from the kitchens of course because nothing beats a snack after a good long nap and before blowing zombie heads off.

↷ coffee • if you ever want to wake up jooeun, get her some coffee or else she's going to be a dead panda the entire day until she can nap. triple-shot espresso with lots of creamer and sugar, please.
↷ first person shooter games • call of duty, halo, l4d, half-life, name it and she's probably played it with jongin. not saying that she's good, but like she's managed always the be one of the best snipers in the games she plays.
↷ SLEEP • obviously, and there's nothing jooeun loves more than sleeping. especially when she can just sleep the entire day, and then stay in bed before sleeping some more. that's the perfect world for her.

↷ losing jongin • jooeun can't even think of a world without jongin. he is her other half, her twin, the sun to her moon. if it ever came to knowing that jongin died, the least that can be promised is that jooeun would be changed for the worst.
↷ make-up • geezus, this girl is the worst person to ask to put on makeup unless you want to look like a clown. like jongin is actually better than her at putting on lipstick, and that's saying something.

↷ biting her nails • not like legit gnawing down her nails to the stubs, but she just dislikes seeing hangnails and the white cuticles, so she tries to neatly trim it back to the clear part in her free time with her teeth.
↷ "food baby" • food baby, aka stomach. jooeun is actually proud of the fact that after she eats, there's like a bulge - which might just be the fact that she's in a food coma talking as she pats it smugly
↷ drooling in her sleep • it's just something she can't help. if is open and her head is tilted to a side, that's a guarantee that she's going to drool. how much is the question though.
↷ napping/zoning out • jooeun has the magical ability to pretty much pass out anywhere she wants. as long as it's relative quiet (or a quite murmur in the background), count on her nodding off or just blankly staring ahead.
↷ social networking stalking • it's almost like a ritual for her when she wakes up - instantly goes to check her instagram, twitter, facebook, anything just to check up on her friends, crushes or just freaking random people
↷ straw drinking • jooeun has some sort of obsession with drinking with straws. she just likes drinking with straws, and you can be sure to always find at least one on her whenever there's a drink around

"don't let go of my hand" • In comparison to jooeun, there seems to be little difference at a glance between the twins. they are both quiet in their own ways, and most importantly, lazy. however, their brand of "laziness" are quite different; while jooeun's laziness comes from a desire to make things easier in the future, jongin's laziness is stemmed from the spoiled childhood that he had always being cared for from his parents, jooeun, friends and also the lavish showering of his admirers. he's never had to really do anything on his own ever, and even now as an adult, the sense of responsibility he has is actually a bit false since he still has jooeun as a safety net just in case he fails. however, jongin is starting to realize that as an adult, he doesn't want to always cling onto jooeun's coattails, and is currently somewhat trying to find a job and not be dependent on her for everything - at least he's trying his hardest, and that's counting for something, right? because when jonging actually gets himself to do something, it's with 200% effort and the most heartfelt determination that anyone could muster up.

"like this, you and me run" • another difference between the twins is that while jooeun is extremely controlled over her emotions and temper, jongin tends to still be ruled by his emotions in comparison (boys boys boys). it isn't rare to see him being extremely shy and hiding his face away especially from those who he admires and holds in high regards, or to see jongin just staring at someone with the most starstrucked gaze ever at mostly only kyungsoo. or whenever he is excited or happy, to see a bright smile that could put the sun to shame beam across his face. even though jongin tends to not say much, how he is feeling and what he is thinking can be easily read through his body language which someone who is close to him can read like an open book. those who can do this, jongin trusts with every fiber of himself. however, at least he's mastered the persona that everyone always wants from him and what had always gotten him the most attention as the hottie (aka where his nickname of "kai" came from); often just wearing an intent stone-faced mask especially when he's deep in thought or just agitated.

"you and i are of the same life" • the twins have known each other since forever - they're twins, and there's nothing that has ever separated them for long either. because of so, it is no wonder that they are extremely close to each other and know each other better than their own mother and even themselves. they've always supported one another, leaning on each other when it got rough, and always being there when the other needed someone else whether for good or bad. they are two pieces of interlocking puzzles, and any cooperative teamwork work is best left to the kim twins; they already have the schematics of their relationship settled out and there is no power struggle between them any more after so many years together. thus, to even see them truly at odds with each other is second to nothing, almost as if they think with the same mind. of course, the little sibling squabbles are still there, and sometimes they have the sense of humor to tease and taunt each other in a friendly loving way - because how boring would it be just for them to always be creepily the same?

"we are endlessly becoming stronger as one" • as jooeun has always been a constant safety net for jongin, so jongin is the strong pillar of strength that jooeun can lean on. when jongin is feeling helpless, he can seek out jooeun and tell her about his problems; in turn, whenever jooeun is simply overwhelmed and tired with generally everything around her, it is jongin who encourages her to keep going and jongin who is one of the only people to spur jooeun to give in her best efforts in the end. they've always been close in the beginning, but as they're forced to rely on each other to simply survive, it becomes obvious that they cannot be without the other twin; inseparable at birth, childhood, teenagers, early adulthood, and ultimately, there is a mutual understanding that they cannot stand to live without the other.

"i was late like thunder" • at a first glance, kyungsoo looks almost... fragile. certainly, how he look with his adorable owl eyes and soft face isn't helping him to seem any more manly than a adorable bunny in most people's eyes definitely not in jongin's eyes. so it's not a surprise that is why kyungsoo just seems extremely quiet and reserved, because that was what most people were just looking for in him. they expected him to be the shy and adorable boy who everyone just wants to bring home with them. so after a while of futile attempts in order to get people to respect him as how he would like people to see him as he was, a perfectly capable and mature adult, not a boy, kyungsoo eventually gave it. what was the use when no one would consider him otherwise? but still, there are moments when he can't help but try to assert his masculinity and strength...

"i let out a sound late calling for you" • so nowadays, the kyungsoo people initially see and think he is isn't the real kyungsoo on the inside. sure, he is naturally a bit shy, quiet, serious and sentimental, but the boy has a strength (and sometimes that sunny smiley boy everyone just melts over and questions their manly about) that no one would expect of someone like him. never underestimate do kyungsoo is something that everyone, dead or alive, must learn before interacting with the said wide-eyed owl boy. there is a reason that kyungsoo is called "momma" from anyone who has been around him for a while - he will take care of literally everything he can get his hands on. and think that he's so nice that he's a pushover? hell not, kyungsoo has quite a bit of snark and sass in him - insult something about his amazingly famous cooking or height and he will send you to the depths of hell for it.

"answer me, why did the people change" • initially, jooeun didn't even know kyungsoo at all, or why the hell jongin was practically dragging the frying pan wielding white-eyed boy back with him after taking a bathroom break. literally, out of the blue, there was this stiff pastely white short male who looked like he was about to whack jongin with it too, and jooeun didn't really know what to say. but then, one look at jongin and his puppy eyes and it was enough to tell her that her twin was head over heels in love with this boy. legitly, jooeun had no doubt it was probably love at first sight, or probably more like love at first whack by the way jongin kept rubbing his head ever slightly with the other hand not wrapped tightly around the wide eyed boy's waist. evidently, jongin's brain cells must have been scrambled by the frying pan.

"say mama if you can change it, mama" • to their happy surprise (and jongin's almost teary-eyed joy), jongin's brain cells weren't the only things their new resident chef kyungsoo could make. out of the most boring supplies, it was like the fire and passion of a man trapped in a boy's body throughout all these years was transferred to his cooking, and both kim twins had to admit that there were times that they nearly cried of happiness over the magic that was kyungsoo's cooking. if jongin was in love before, now he was completely wrapped around kyungsoo's little finger - not that either kyungsoo or jooeun minds. honestly, she actually likes kyungsoo, and it's obvious that kyungsoo likes both of the kim twins as friends, so it's now up to jooeun to scheme and make sure that at least her poor lost twin has someone to take care of him in case anything happens to her...

↷ third wheeling • honestly, jooeun is like the creepy almost overprotective brother of sort when it comes to jongin and relationships. okay, she has no doubt that kyungsoo is a cute and proper gentleman, but stilll... just don't count on her sitting out when something romantic is going on between kaisoo. she has to be there to be watch to fulfill her very unsatisfied love life.
↷ omfg, eye candyyy • how men still manage to look even more hotter during a zombie apocalypse, jooeun doesn't know. but prompt her suddenly freezing and drooling as she spies a shirtless and sweaty yunho unknowingly showing off dem tanned unf abs while fighting zombies off in the distance or perhaps a dirtied up joonmyun running towards them who still looks like a blessed godly angels who fell from heaven.
