My output has been abysmal lately; real life is a pain (what else is new?) and writer’s block makes everything I churn out seem like unconscionable drivel. Can’t do much about real life but slog through it, but I’m working (slowly, but surely!) through my writer’s block the only way I can: by writing. As always, a good motivator is joining writing contests—so I’ve done just that.
